We were scammed. They were very untrustworthy for two reasons. I went for some basic acne medication, and they prescribed a $60 bottle of shampoo but didnt tell me that the shampoo wouldnt work unless I also used special conditioner. After using the shampoo for 8 months with no results, they told me that "they thought I knew I needed the conditioner too, because they were next to each other in the boutique." (I called my friend who was prescribed the same $60 shampoo, and she also was not told about the conditioner.) Upon further questioning, we found out that any organic shampoo would do the same as the $60 Trillium Creek brand. You can get organic shampoo at Walmart without a prescription. More importantly, they told my mom that a sun spot on her face was precancerous and HAD to be removed. They specified that her insurance would cover it for medical reasons. But then, after the operation, they gave my mom a near $3,000 bill for "cosmetic surgery" which her insurance would NOT cover. When my mom filed a formal complaint with Trillium Creek, they told us that our whole family was no longer welcome there. Also, dont plan on actually talking to the doctor. You will wait a very long time to see a doctor for three minutes TOPS. Its a scam and a waste of time.

Huge mistake and waste of time going to this practice. Two cysts have been on my back for years. The only direction was to wait until they were bigger before any action would be taken. No reason was provided as to way they couldnt be handled at that point and time. Soon after the doctor left without addressing my concerns. It felt like I donated my co-pay to a used car salesman. The staff looked and acted like beaten animals. Their actions are a direct reflection of the leadership, which proves that there is a lack a professionalism designed to interface with the customer. The doctors there may be medically smart, but they are most certainly business dumb. Maybe they should turn their egos off and except the fact that there are smart people out there in different industries. Ones that can develop business just as well as they can diagnosis skin problems. Basically, the practice has business cancer. Smart people acting like they know best about everything, but are clueless about the bottom line. They should let the MBAs figure it out, but I guarantee they are to arrogant to listen.

I have been going to Trillium to see Dr Torok for years. The wait has always been 30mins or so, which is not unusual I guess. The last several years I have waited in the waiting room for @45mins just to get called back. This year when I went in I waited for over an hour and 15mins!! I finally got up and told the girl at the desk I was going to have to leave and that this wait time was unacceptable. She really didnt seem to care. lol I will be finding a new dermatologist. This is just plain crazy! Dr Torok is a very nice lady, but this wait time is totally unacceptable and has just gotten worse and worse over the years.

Dr. Torok just wanted to sell me her products. I went in for a full check of any issues with moles, or blemishes on my body. She was not thorough and never mentioned any of the moles, if she even saw them! I think she might have been in the room with me for about 3 minutes. It was strange because I did get a recommendation from a friend. When she was finished talking(which was very fast) she said buy this, this, and this. That was it. The young lady that came into the room to assist was very nice and explained things to me which I feel the doctor should have done. Very disappointed.

Dr. Torok is an excellent dermatologist and we have always been happy with her expertise. We believe she is a very good diagnostician. The one irritating thing about TC is - as many reviews have pointed out - the long wait time. We have been seeing her for an annual visit for 8 years and we have never seen the doctor earlier than a half hour past our actual appointment time. Some years it has been an hour or more so bring a good book or be prepared to fiddle around on your smartphone for quite a while during your wait.

I have been a client of both the cosmetic dermatology, as well as the clinical dermatology sides of Trillium Creek for about 8 years. I have always received expert care and attention. Both doctors, Leonard and Helen Torok, have cared for me and they are very professional and receptive to my needs. I have, and will continue to recommend these doctors to anyone that needs excellent dermatological care.

they had a problem with in house billing, which I made numerous attempts to try and resolve, but the office manager was nasty with us, despite my incentive and effort to resolve the bill and he dismissed me at a patient. I would not recommend going here. you can read reviews on better business bureau. they have a failing grade. we found a new dermatologist office that we are much happier with.

Very very slow. Appointment was at 3 pm. I was seen at 4:15pm. No appplogy no nothing. No reason why, can we offer you water...nada. Smaller less commercialized places offer faster service. Trillium is a "machine" pumping humans through....sloooooowly. But....once ur back behind the Oz wall its truly heaven. U decide if its worth the wait.

Though you usually wait for your appointment at least a half hour it is worth it. The dermatologists here are very thorough and always take the time to answer all questions. I am assuming because of this consequently you are in the waiting room for a bit but when its your turn all the time you need will be given.

This place sucks !!! They claim to be a dermatology office and charge you a $65 consultation fee and "guess" what is wrong and send you to another doctor, only to find out it is a skin problem anyway. A complete waste of time and money. If you want 101 Acne treatment cream, this is the place for you.

Plan on waiting an hour to an hour and a half just to get into the next room to wait Longer. Doctor comes in for a whole 2 minutes. The wait time is ridiculous. I have never walked in and waited less than an hour. Doctors are over booked and no one cares.

I was skeptical of choosing this place when I was reading reviews. My experience was awesome and everything was taken care of for me the same day!! If I have any other issues in the future I will definitely go back. Thank you

Horrible experience. Felt like a number not a person. I wanted to get my skin checked for cancer and she spent less than five minutes with me and explained nothing!! Going somewhere else.

Very knowledgable staff (the best at what they do) but they overbook their appointments. I spend an average of an hour waiting only to be seen by a rushed physician for five minutes.
