Coming to Akron Skin Center was my last attempt at finding a dermatologist who actually cares. Every Dr. I have been to prescribes the same stuff over and over with no lasting results for my eczema. Dr. James F. Libecco finally restored my hope that I lost. He told me, "I have plenty of other options to try out and the day that I run out of options, you can fire me." Honestly I wanted to leave crying, not because of frustration like I normally feel, but because he actually wants to help me get to the bottom of my skin problem that I have been struggling with my whole life......Also I was able to get into him with in one month which was a miracle in itself (every other place I have called and been to took at least 4 months for a new patient appointment)

I have been going to Dr. Libecco for at least 8 years. He is an excellent physician who always provides the very best care. Not only that, but he is very friendly with his patients and makes them feel comfortable and welcome. This is very important because sometimes a procedure is very scary and having a doctor who reassures you helps to calm your nerves. I have recommended family members and friends to Dr. Libecco and they have always been satisfied with his care. He cared for my son when he developed psoriasis and prescribed medication that significantly improved the condition. He also gave my son valuable information about the condition and guidance in how to manage it. I will always be grateful for that.

I would recommend Dr. Libecco. He listens, he checks and he takes care of the issue(s) brought to his attention. His prices are reasonable. Hes personable and professional, yet down to earth. After having to wait to get in for the initial visit, I have been able to get in for a visit in a timely manner. When I arrive for my appointment, there is never more than a few minutes wait time. His location is convenient (for me) as well, being on West Market Street in Fairlawn and I live in Fairlawn. I will continue to be a patient of Dr. Libeccos.

I have been with Dr. Libecco for over 5 years he and his staff are always friendly, considerate and efficient. One of the things I like best is the level of care I have received from Dr. Libecco. He has helped me get my condition under control and easy to maintain. In addition he is always aware of how much medicine can cost and helps me understand the cost. Recently, he and his staff found a site the helped me cut my cost for medication by 90+%. I plan to keep him as my doctor until I dont need a doctor any more.

His staff is professional yet compassionate. Everyone and every time I have had my cancer screenings and now add early detection Melanoma, everyone I came into contact with gave me the best care, lead by Dr. Libecco. Called regarding setting an appointment for an odd looking lesion found on scalp, and they wanted to make an appointment in January. It is now the first part of August . . . Someone could be dead before they get seen. UNACCEPTABLE! If you are unable to accept new patients and see them within 30 days, then you should just say, "We are not accepting new patients at this time." Bad for business when something could be very serious, and you think they will wait five (5) months.

Dr. Libecco is very friendly and knowledgeable. I have had several moles and skintags removed and it always went quickly and very smoothly. The office is extremely well run I have never waited longer than 15 minutes for my appointment. It does take awhile for a new patient to get in but if you can handle that..its worth it. The office can be hard to find the first time if using GPS. You get into the parking area from Merz, not Market.

My husband Ed and I have found Dr Libecco to be an excellent dermatologist. He is very thorough in his examinations, and in the record keeping of those examinations. He is aggressive in his treatment of serious problems, and continues to monitor those situations as necessary. The office staff is courteous and helpful. We have recommended Dr Libecco, and his Nurse Practitioner, Jill Warren, to other family members.

I have had great experiences at Dr Libeccos office. The staff is very friendly, helpful and technically adept at local anesthesia which in my case, is very important. He is very thorough when doing his exam. I have had 3 melanomas removed with excellent results.I appreciate his aggressive treatment and is not willing to "wait and see" when I find another suspicious spot.

With the exception of the new patient wait the experience was a good one. I did not have to wait long to be seen when I arrived. I even arrived a few minutes late because I got lost on the way there. Dr Libecco was very nice and the treatment he prescribed has been working well.

The nurse practitioner took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. She did not rush me and was very good at the procedure she did to remove some pre-cancerous cells. I will go back every year to be sure my skin is cancer free. Early detection, right?
