Im writing this review for the fact that the staff are really rude. I called to set a appointment today as a new patient. The first time I called the lady put me on hold for 6min. I had hung up and called back and she then says "please hold " before I could even say anything she has me on hold. I then waited 3min on hold and she gets on the phone with me and takes my insurance information on the phone and sets the appointment. Two minutes later I receive a call back and it was the same lady who put me on hold twice and she then tells me " we dont take medicade insurance." For her to even call me back with her rude ass attitude and say that when she was completely wrong from the get go, it just really blows my mind that the doctor lets this go on. I read the reviews and I wanted to find out for myself and they were right. If you havent been here I suggest you dont. The doctor doesnt see how rude his staff are to his patients and the sad part is they all are getting away with it. Im contacting the BBB on this office. Good day!

My husband is a patient of Dr Valdez he thinks he is a great doctor and he also likes his nurse Maria But he has been waiting for his blood pressure prescription to be called in and the new meds for his sugar for two days now they have gone home without doing their jobs. This is not the first time this has happened .Matter of fact it is the most aggravating thing I have to go through since I am the one who has to take care of all this. Calling them does no good going to the office doesnt either.They have on occasion totally forgotten his meds all together.The Doctor wants to see him in 3 months to make sure his sugar is down so he doesnt have a stroke.After expressing this rather forcefully wonder what his opinion will be when he goes back and hasnt taken them at all. My husband refuses to let me call them again

Dr. Valdez is by far the best Dr. Ive ever seen. Ive seen him for the last 8 years. In reading some of the reviews regarding the staff- yes there have been times that there was some rude behavior, however I sent an email and Dr. Valdez himself has responded even after hours. As for the negative reviews on having to wait- Id much rather know that when it is my turn that the Dr. isnt going to have his hand on the door knob trying to move to the next patient while Im still talking. He stays with his patients- every patient- until hes comfortable with treatment and his PATIENT is comfortable with treatment. He also doesnt just push a pill on you to solve all your problems. If time is an issue schedule the first appointment in the morning, but he is worth the wait.

I was going to Dr. Valdez for over 3 years. In the last year the customer care from the front end office staff has gone to hell. Rude and incompetent is how I would describe the front office staff. Some person whose name starts with "D" is very upset that you called to ruin her day, even though its her job to take care of you. Also, they will randomly change what lab service they use and you better hope that its in your insurance network or youll get an outrageous bill a few months later. Also, when you ask about that bill, the best practice, according to them, is to not pay it. At one time I would have recommended Dr. Valdez to anyone, but now, dont waste your time. There are much friendlier and well run offices in the area.

I have only been to this doctor one time so far, but he was very kind, attentive, and took my concerns seriously. Rather than just giving me the most obvious answer off the top of his head, he opted to test for a lot of different things to try to pinpoint what was going on. It was very refreshing to have a doctor that was willing to put some thought into my situation and treatment. Also, they have an online thing where you can communicate with the office easily and look at lab results and other stuff. I thought that was pretty cool and convenient. And their lab person was very nice and is a total pro at taking blood. I usually have issues with people finding veins, but she had none whatsoever.

TERRIBLE treatment for a new patient. My appointment was scheduled for 1:20. I arrived at 12:50 assuming I would have paperwork to complete. They didnt call me up for the paperwork until 1:25, then told me it would be another 10-15 minutes before Im called back- and an ADDITIONAL wait time in the back for the doctor... Absolutely unprofessional. If they knew they were that far behind, they should make their patients aware of that prior to their appointment time. Needless to say, waist of gas, waste of trip, I would never recommend, nor will I return to this unprofessional establishment.

This is by far the worst staff I have encountered with the exception of the dr., shes great. I went in a week prior for my daughters shots and so they schedule me for another appt. this week to only come to find out that she cant get shots. I sat in the waiting room for an hour until I said something to the nurse, and she tells me they cant give her shots, so my question is why didnt none of the receptionist tell me anything? This is a lack of communication in your staffs behalf with the patients. Wasted time!

LITERALLY THE RUDEST STAFF I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!! Dr. Valdez is a wonderful Doctor! His staff acts as if they dont want to be there and you inconvenience them with any question or problem you may have. Booking an appointment is an absolute nightmare especially if dealing with the front office staff. I think you could get better service at McDonalds. So upset with how Ive just been treated. I hope these reviews are actually taken into consideration and attitude is changed.

If you want a doctor that truly cares about you and is willing to work with you on getting the treatment you need, then Dr. Valdezs office is the place. I would give it 5 stars, but the staff can be hard to deal with and rude at times. However, if you have any complaints just let Valdez know. He cares deeply about the experiences and opinions of his patients.

Dr. Valdez is great! He cares for his patients! If you read the negative comments be sure to read the responses. There will always be those people you cant please no matter what you do. Also look at the number of reviews. Only a few people take the time to write a positive review but I can tell you that Dr. Valdez is a great family primary care physician!

I love Dr Valdez and his office. My favorite it Sarah. So helpful and full of personality. Definitely what your looking for when you call in with a ill child. We have been long term patients for years and love the new staff. We drive in all the way from cypress to see there doctors and have yet to be disappointed. Keep up the good work!!
