They are ridiculously busy! The waiting room is completely full. They are obviously trying to get more people to set appointments, but when they are that busy every day they need to HIRE MORE PEOPLE! Most people (like me) dont get testing regularly and are not aware that an appointment is preferred. Making a big fuss and announcing every time you call someone back who did set an appointment does not help me today. Next time, which based on my history will be in like 10 years, I will be sure to set an appointment. If all those people in the waiting room had set appointments, you would still need to HIRE MORE PEOPLE to take of the need. There is a much simpler solution than trying to change the behavior of the public (i.e. trying to get everyone to set an appointment for something that should take 2 minutes or less) - change your structure and HIRE MORE PEOPLE!

As a previous patient stated, at the Quest in Tomball, the lab techs are absolutely great! However, I have been there twice and my husband once, and our experience with the receptionist was very negative. Couldnt tell if it was a he or she, but whatever, he/she was very, very rude, impatient and argumentative. And he/she told me that they will NEVER answer the phone there because they are too understaffed and dont have time. So just go online to schedule the appt. and dont waste your time trying to call. I would go back because of the techs, though, and just try to stay out of the way of the receptionist. Perhaps he/she should seek employment as a jail warden or dog catcher.

They dont answer their phones. I tried calling 5 times before someone finally answered. The Quest website was down and wouldnt take appointments. I was then told by this office they wont actually make appointments there and they have to be made through a hotline. Horrible system! It took 20 minutes to get an appointment through the hotline. Then when I went there for my appointment the receptionist (nor anyone) wasnt at the front desk for almost 15 minutes and they seemed annoyed when I went up there to talk about my appointment.

Slowest place ever, sat in waiting room for an hour and they had only taken 3 people to the back. For a place just doing blood draws & urine tests, they are in no hurry to serve you. I never saw the people that went to the back come out, so Im guessing they just take you to the back when they finally get to you only to make you do more waiting in the back. This is by far the worst quest Ive ever been to. Do yourself a favor & go elsewhere

Whoaa at all these negative posts I am seeing...but for me, All the ladies working here are awesome, attentive, amazing and caring. Big shout out to Megan for helping me out today. Yes some days the waiting room may be packed but the patients are in and out fast. Didnt need an appointment. Made me feel right at home. If I could give this place anything lower I would. This was my first here signed in nobody was in the front desk then some guy comes out to the waiting area then looks and tells me to sit down in a rudely maner until someone calls my name. Hes name was Eli Elloy something like that. I was referred by my doctor i will never come here again hes level of professionalism was very low class.

Techs are very nice. They are busy and if you come as a walk in you will have to wait until they squeeze you in between people who made appts. Thats kind of how things work everywhere. I have had to go 5 times in the last month and I have always received my test results within 24 hours.

I went in without an appointment around 9:35am on a Tuesday. I only waited 15 minutes to be seen. I was expecting to wait much longer. I was done with everything by 10 am. I like that I didnt have to wait long to get my lab work done and the staff was nice.

2 hours later still sitting here. Fasting and urine required. Going to the bathroom and then to my car. Going to select a different location on another day. Total waste of time. And if u are Deaf forget it. Will never get served here.
