Absolutely horrific! I could write a book on everything that was done wrong. The only good thing about it was the nurses. Dr. Hall should have been fired immediately after I reported her treatment methods. I took a severe fall and begged them to keep me another day or call and ambulance. They refused to do either and even lied to my son that I was laughing and in a good mood when I was dismissed. They did not tell him about fall as I was told they would. In fact, when he called them back after we returned to his home because I couldnt get up to fix something to eat they told him not to play into my behavior and not to feed me. My son was shocked at how I looked when he picked me up but he was told nothing about fall and I didnt say anything because I thought he knew and didnt realize how much pain I was experiencing. He refused to feed me at the hospitals request. He picked me up on a Wednesday and by Friday I was in the ER. I had scans and X-Rays which indicated my left side and hip were bruised. I had a fractured third rib, fluid on my lungs. I was having excuricating headaches from my head hitting a brick wall and it bouncing like a basketball all over it before I fell on my back and blacked out. Also when I went to my PT my spine was off so we had to manipute it. Still get headaches and every place my head hit wall there is a hot spot that continues to cause pain. I was so blessed that I did break a hip or worse since I have severe osteoporious. Also, I didnt see that they were in any way doing any cognitive therapy or teaching coping skills to help the patients when the were dismissed. Im sure they have a high return rate or they go to another facility which I would highly recommend. I reported all of this but never was given any satisfaction. All they did was file a grievance but never did follow ups except have one person call me because they were afraid I was going to sue. That never crossed my mind until they were so concerned about that rather my condition. I would not give them a one star if not for the nurses. Im a registered nurse and majored in psychology and was dumbfounded at the like of empathy I saw or was personally afforded.

My 77yr old mother came here seeking help with severe anxiety issues. This is a woman who has never undergone anything like this and is usually the person helping the sick and the needy. She was threatened by staff, told to shut up or she would be locked in a bare room, with nothing but a plastic mattress. She was forced into a ice cold shower and held there. This is a 77 yr old woman with severe debilitating arthritis. She is in constant pain and unable to walk without the aid of a walker or wheel chair. Shocking is all that can describe her experience. She has been tramatized and humiliated. Needless to say she did not stay. Dont be fooled by the photos and pleasent lay out of this web site. Malpractrice is the only word appropriate for Laureate and we will be more than happy to file whatever complaints are required to end this kind of abuse.

Terrible place! The outpatient clinic was ok when it came to group therapy, but didnt really care about the individual. The inpatient staff and facility was horrific. Extremely insensitive, no compassion what so ever, and unprofessional. The psychiatrist that was assigned to me was a moron. Despite my previous diagnises that he obviously didnt read, he told me I had a completely different mental illness. Somehow, he was able to make this diagnosis (assumption) in the 10 minutes he saw me. I could share so many horror stories, but instead Ill just end this by saying stay as far away from this place as you can!

Haha this june 2017 will be a year since i was there. Most of staff dont care. There r a few that does. I was there for 8 days. I needed to stay longer. But their dr said i was ok to go. The ppl there dont give a damn about you. You are just another number to them. 21,000 dollars down the drain. Dont let their website fool you. I did. When i first got there they made me strip down and they searched me. And to think i went on my own. Only got 2 go outside every few days for 1 hour. Yes they helped me detox but i shouldve picked another place. To whoever goes there goodluck!!!

I had to go to Laureate for anxiety and depression because I was having difficulty getting help elsewhere because Im pregnant and very few people understand both mental health and obstetrics. Having to stay at an inpatient hospital while pregnant, especially since I NEVER thought I would ever need inpatient mental health help, was TERRIFYING. However, a psychiatrist there named Dr Manning was able to help me make progress in managing my depression, anxiety, insomnia, nausea, and migraines.

Been going here for 11 years. Absolutely saved my life. My dr always listens to me. He not only found the correct medication from the start (after close to 20 years and 1/2 a dozen previous drs) he chose anti depressant medication that was a pain blocker due to a separate chronic pain issue ( another issue that other Drs gave me meds after meds that never worked or suggested only surgery).

I have had to stay here twice for bipolar mania with psychosis. I have been to other places and would love to never need to stay at a psychiatric hospital again but if needing to this would be my first choice. The care from staff is above the standard and the food is good. The team of doctors really work together to make sure they help and put you on the right meds.

From my person experience.. Laureate had a good (considering that fact youre in a psych ward) atmosphere. However, you could tell that many Techs were burned out on their job....which presents a problem with poor communication....between patient and staff. Besides that I feel as if the stay was more than adequate .

This clinic is so by the book that despite any extra information that may assist the testing staff may or may not be even heard. That is a pity as some may possibly reframe the supervisory staff who is to determine her condition. Any person considering this facility may be better served by contacting another one.

Called to make a new patient appointment and was told the first available appointment is at the end of November! How does that convey concern or any sense of urgency for the potential patient?

Most unhelpful and uncaring place Ive ever called seeking help. Was not only ignored, talked over, and cut off but have been hung up on repeatedly.
