I have been a patient at the beacon center eye care for over three years. Dr. Gordon is an excellent doctor very personable, caring and precise in his work. Unfortunately today I got my file and left the eye center to never return again. This is due to dealing with the obnoxious, rude, loud mouth owner of the business. I was told I do not need an appointment to get lenses in a new frame I had bought. Waiting to get fitted a number of people came in and went in before me for the same service. After an hour of this when I complained the man who was doing the frames came over to tell me there is one more person he will see before me and I need to make an appointment if I want better service. He was loud, rude and unprofessional so I told him I do not wish to speak to him, he said "I AM THE OWNER". I got my prescription and left and to never return. This is not the way to treat a customer, instead of Mr. Owner listening to find out what is going on and apologize and make up for the bad service he was a jerk. Never to return to that place again I do not need to put my money in the pocket of this jerk.
The doctor was so friendly and so great he should not be judged by his staff.. But the staff id rude and unproffesional. Josh assisted me while i picked out my pair of glasses, he never mentioned the return or exchange policy. I called after i left the office and nobody answered my calls. The weekend went by and I called today 1/23/17 monday i to cancel or exchange my order, I was placed on hold for 10 minutes then a man answered the phone and said "hello" first of all this should not be a greeting to a customer calling... then i asked who he was and he answered "josh" very dry.. i then proceeded to tell him my situation and his answer was just very rude and he had an attitude he said "Uh well we dont do any reffunds or cancelations your glasses will be ready tomorrow" he didnt even offer some sort of a solution or show any signs of pleasant problem solving. I understand the policy now but perhaps he should have been clear from the start point or been a little more polite during the phone call. Very unproffesional and very poor staff
Its been a great pleasure doing business at this place!!!! My family attend themselves here and I did too and I must say Dr Gordon is great and Josh is amazing and the staff are very welcoming and at least in my own experience it was amazing. I even referred my sister and nice and both got exams done and bought their gorgeous eyeglasses from there and you even have the options to bring your own eye wear and they would adjust your prescription and besides theyre very quick with orders!!!!

Ive been going to Beacon for years to get glasses and contacts for my son and I, and Ive always been happy with the product and service provided. If I needed an adjustment on my prescription, theyve done it without any hassle. Dr. Gordon, Josh and the rest of the staff have always been nothing but cordial, professional, and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for great eye care.
Was told by the from desk staff prior to arriving that my insurance covered everything, after the exam was done the sales rep was telling that now I had to pay $50 out of pocket because they only delt with special lenses . Called back my insurance and they confirmed that it wasnt true . What a SCAM
Dr. Michael Gordon is extremely nice and very attentive. The whole staff itself always tries to find the best offers for your. Definitely recommend Beacon Eye Care.
My entire family comes to this facility and the staff has taken great care of us. I would greatly recommend this eye center!
