Used to LOVE this vet! We continuously brought our six dogs here, we would get only one doctor visit fee. They would give us discounts and all was great. But this time, did not seem like they even cared about our dogs! Dr. Lungerin always allowed us to come in the room to take temperatures and what have you. She answered all questions we had and was very sweet. When we took them in this time the girl with the shaved head didnt great us, just slipped the a leash around his neck and dragged him to the scale. Probably would have been easier to get him over there if she had asked me to walk with him, hes obviously scared. Didnt get to go in the check up room. Didnt even get to say anything to my dog. We werent told an exact price, but an estimate for two neuters. The price was about 200$. The lady up front seemed to have a stressed out touchy attitude. She was training an older woman, who was very slow. We arent people to judge but it all felt very unwelcoming. Our favorite front desk lady came out, the one with the cleft palet. She remembered everything about us! Our dogs names, what we came in for..everything. Happy as ever to see us. So sweet! New front desk lady was rude to her and snappy. So we got our bill, it was 280$. This is with a rabies vaccination of course. And 306$ for the other dog. Who had all his shots. They charged us 80$ each dog for the procedure. And 40$ each for an office visit. Really? There was a baby in the back and we could hear someone screaching at the baby. Like, how traumatizing for a dog that doesnt know whats going on. They told us an extra 25$ for 7 day healing process for later. Instead of 14 days healing process. So we paid, the. Afterwards were told 10 days. So, $25 for healing to be done MAYBE 4 days early? One of the dogs has one but sac with nothing in it just hanging still. And our other dog has a dangly wrinkly sac thing hanging. Which I have never seen before. The lady with short hair that brought my dog out ripped the leash right off his neck. Not even trying to be gentle. The aftercare was not explain. Just a paper printed out for us to read. Miss the way it used to be.

I am very dissatisfied with the service at this vet. This was not the first time we brought our dog here before. The previous time he had 2 shots and a grooming appointment. Cost was about $60. This time for some odd reason they are requiring more shots which I felt was incorrect but I am not a Vet technician to know and another grooming. They called me a few hours after I dropped him off and asked for permission to sedate him because he was fighting the groomer. I know my dog does not like groomers but the previous time the groomer said he was perfect. Seems odd to me. Because they said his haircut was not complete, I agreed to the sedation fee of $40. Over an hour passes and I decided to go because surely he should be ready. It took about 5 minutes before someone came to the front desk and I am charged $165 for his visit. They failed to tell me that a visit fee would be included with his shots. The girl hardly felt like explaining the breakdown in costs. I unhappily pay and she goes to get my dog and then realized he was not even ready. Not even sedated yet but when I spoke to someone on the phone they said he would be ready shortly. So I felt waiting over an hour would be fine and maybe they were busy and forgot to call. The lady at the front desk could not even offer me a time frame of when to expect that he would be done. Nothing at all. That when she calls then that means he is done. We will never bring our dog back here and will be sure to tell other friends and family. Terrible service and they are just looking to rip you off. Tried to support our local veterinary by this is what we get.

Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the boarding services today. I have been taking my dog here for boarding for the last four years. It will take a lot for me to now return. They no longer offer Sunday night pickups, so my overnight trip (we were home Sunday morning) I was charged for two nights because they dont keep office staff to check out. I board my dog so he gets worn out before we return from our trip. He spent the whole weekend in the kennel and has no voice left from all of the barking he did...plus he is a wound up mess rather than the dog who used to be relaxed. I had to work today (Monday) so I called this morning to ask if they would wave the fee for today because I couldnt come. They said they would get back to me, but if I came around noon that they wouldnt charge me for the day. I spent my lunch break driving from West Jordan to Riverton and arrived promptly at 12:30 to a sign on the door saying they were closed for a few minutes for a staff meeting (despite the office hours being 8-5...and no "lunch closing" time). I waited and had to drive back to work. Arrived later after work to pick up my dog and had to pay for the whole day because it is "policy". I have loved coming here for years because they have always put the costumer first. Now that you want to put the " policies" first (which I get..but not when it isnt my fault), my business has been lost. It is a shame. I am very dissatisfied and would not recommend taking your animals here for boarding. The vet office is wonderful, but I will not be back for boarding. :(

The vet himself is great. He is sweet and thorough with my dog. However, the clinic its self is ran with chaos. There is a small girl (maybe 3-4) that has run of the place. She always tries to pick up my small dog or drag it around the office on a leash. I have noticed a number of other clients that try to be nice to her but get extremely frustrated when she tries to mess with their animals. I had to go for an emergency appointment and was taken back to the exam room due to lack of space. Normally they take my dog to the exam room while I wait but I had to go with her this time. This was the last straw for me. It was filthy! The little girl was eating on the floor, there was dirty dishes piled in the sink, children s toys, and numerous items like industrial cleaners (not the ones you would expect to see in a vets office) scattered about the room. My dog was terrified as it was but the little girl that followed us back was making loud noises and making the situation 10 times worse then it should have been. The office is a joke. There is no reason for a young girl to hang out in the office and handle peoples sick animals. I pulled my dogs records and switched to South Mountain Pet Care in Draper. MUCH better experience, cleaner office, and no children trying to mess with my dog.
