Took my dog there. He was in an extreme amount of pain when he would walk after a few min.other vet said it could be his stomach twisted or Lyme disease. took him there because animal welfare league said they were the best and had "PAYMENT PLANS". After bringing him back to me after several minutes. They said he seemed fine till he screamed out in pain again they asked if they should give him pain meds..how could I say no. They ttok him in the back and I waited a bit. About 30 min to an hour later a vet comes out and ask me what the problem was because he is not doin anything. But again as soon as they bring him back to me he screaming in pain they offer a X ray of he lower back and legs I say ok. Turns out they took 5 xrays from head to toe at 89$ a piece. Without EVER mentioning a quote. As soon as we are ready to leave with stil not knowing what the problem is they send me home with 3 different pain meds. Tell me they will call me tomorrow when they have another person look at the xrays. And tell me I owe them 700$.. wtf for xrays three prescription and a pat on the back? SO TURNS OUT THEY DONT HAVE PAYMENT PLANS THEY HAVE A CREDIT CARD YOU CAN APPLY FOR... they also never called me back I had to call them and they recommended me to a neurologist. . Why I dont know. So I tell her the vet at animal welfare league said it could be lyme and she says "Oh umm it could be that too" seems like they push this neurologist on people for everything. Point being they use ur weakness to gwt money I understand its not cheap to help your pet but paying out of pocket 700 dollars puts you just in as much pain as any animal. Luckily my father was there to qualify for the "CREDIT CARD PAYMENT PLAN"

My dog had a problem with not being able to control her urination. Even though I told the doctor my dog had an incontinence issue he still made me run a $300 urine test. Ridiculous! Then the doc said my dog needs meds. Its as easy as coming in to pick it up anytime. Its a hospital right? Except you gotta play 20 questions every time you need a refill. And....you better be home since they prescribed it- they dont know what medication your dog is on so you better know the name, the milligrams, and everything else. You also should know if its a controlled substance apparently.. Wasting time on the phone and they never have any meds ready for pick up. 5 days for a refill? I worked in a very small doctor office before and we actually stocked medication. Yes, its true so how does an animal hospital not know what meds they prescribed your dog. I mean thats not even safe I can say any medication really. Also- DR. Larson told me his dog is on the same incontinence medication too. Betcha he can easily grab a bottle on his way out the door but I gotta play a song and dance everytime I phone in a refill with the staff and wait 5 day for them to create a label. If you like aggravation every time you call then this place is for you.

Took my cat in after hours for a sore on her lower abdomen, a lady came and took her away to a room in the back, after 20 minutes we were told she had an abcess and we were led to a small claustrophobic waiting room and forced to sit alone again for another 30 minutes, No updates about my pet or even what they were doing to her. Finally the vet came who to be fair, did seem knowledgeable she explained the condition and what she was going to do. We were led again back to the lobby and made to wait agian for another 45 minutes , (btw we were the only ones there!) finally I walked to the back myself to ask for an update, since there was noone aroundeven at the front desk. One of the assistants I found in the back mumbled something about her medication taking a long time to prepare. After waiting for 20 more minutes , I finally insisted they bring my cat back as now I was not only annoyed but concerned what they were doing to my pet. They finally brought her back and made us wait another 20 minutes to bring her medication. Finally we could leave after paying a hefty nearly 300$ dollar bill. The customer service there is horrendous and the care for animals is competent at best.

I brought my dog after and emergancy c-section. The previous vet had no clue what he was doing by the look of it. My dog was bearly able to hold herself up, was not eating and not aware. She had this painful cry that broke my heart everytime she would do it. The VCA told me that she needed and emergency surgery or they did bot believe she would make it. She was dehydrated, anemic, had an infected mammary gland and slighly bleeding into her abdomen. Just to mention the previous vet had 4 hours that he had released her to me and did not bother to mention all the things that were wrong with her. I went to go visit her that next day and she was in a total different spirit. He was alert, walking, eating and wagging her tail. Now she is fully healthy gaining her weight back and living life. Her three puppies are growing and a handful. I would recommend this clinic to anyone my dog never went with anyone unless we went with her and she had no problem here. I Love It!!!!

This place is a borderline scam. Took in my labrador to get checked out after he suffered a minor injury. Rather than use common sense and visually inspect him to ensure his well-being, the vet performed all kinds of expensive and unnecessary tests and prescribed unnecessary medications. The staff goes the extra length to wrap up your pets and scare you into forking over your cash. After spending 5 hours and $800 dollars inside the place, I expected my labrador to be seriously injured, but he was well enough to walk home with no signs of injury. Also, the staff is very unprofessional when it comes to safeguarding personal information. On of the secretaries handed me a folder to carry my receipts in, not realizing that someone elses personal file was in it (which I did not realize until I opened the folder at home). (Mike and Laura B., you might want to start getting your 9-year-old female pug Ash treated at a different place)

My cat has been throwing up for a few days and I brought her in, they were very prompt and took her back right away. When I went back to the treatment rooms I had a lady come in and talk to me about billing. She left and said the doctor would be in to speak with me. Enters another woman to speak to me about billing... Okay thought I just had this conversation, assures me the doctor will be in to speak with me. They let me out to the front desk where they speak to me about billing, I had this conversation about billing 3 times and not once did a doctor speak to me about whats going on with my cat, I was beyond dissapointed, an absolute waste of my money. I do not trust these people with my cat, I understand making sure you get paid, but that was excessive and seemed like thats all you cared about and not actually helping my cat.
