I wish I could give 0 stars. I really loved this clinic for a few years. When my older golden retriever passed away with cancer, they were great. Ive even referred people to this clinic. Unfortunately, about 6 months ago our Newfoundland dog was having skin issues. Concerned, we brought her to Flying Cloud to see if they could help her. The vet told us it was probably allergies (it was late summer), told us to give her Benadryl, and sent us home. As she never got better, we returned two more times in the next 5 months. During those visits they took a skin sample, checked for mites, didnt find anything, gave her prednisone, and told us to wait until it snowed (she didnt get better after it froze, so they told us to wait for snow) to confirm that it wasnt allergies. She has been on prednisone and Benadryl for at least 4 months... and she has gotten worse, but the vet told us to wait it out. Finally, we made an appointment at the U of M. Without even seeing our dog, just looking at her chart, the vet said she was pretty sure it was mites. They took 3 skin samples, and the first slide showed 2 bugs and an egg. THE FIRST SLIDE. Not only has our dog been completely miserable for over 5 months, the prednisone the Flying Cloud vets prescribed has affected her personality, and the poor thing doesnt sleep well, is constantly hungry, and cranky. Now that we know she wasnt even supposed to be on prednisone (the prednisone mightve even been making her worse), we are very disappointed. We complained to Flying Cloud and they didnt even say they were sorry. When we talked to the actual vet, he was defensive about it. I can understand having difficulty with a diagnosis but our case was clear-cut standard mites. The lab clearly screwed up the test, and the vet never chose to retest. I am so glad we got a second opinion. I worry that if we hadnt, a year from now we would still be waiting. Their unwillingness to admit the mistake is what makes us the most upset. They didnt even offer to cover any of our vet bills or cover treatment for mites for our other dog - she is a puppy and wouldnt have needed treatment as she was not in our house 6 months ago. Needless to say, today we are switching vets. I wish I could tell people to avoid a specific vet at this clinic, but our dog saw 3 of the vets and all went along with the same treatment.

My family and I have been taking our dogs and cats to Flying Cloud Animal Hospital (FCAH) for over 15 years. The doctors and staff are welcoming, patient, kind, sincere, and very knowledgeable. At one time or another I have seen all the doctors there and believe they are all great. They are responsive when you have a pressing matter such as a sick fur-kid or if it is just a routine issue; both in person and over the phone. Their pricing is reasonable compared to other locations. Even better priced in some instances. For many of us, our pets are an extension of our family, who you take them to see matters. While I do not reside close by and it is a small commute to get there, FCAH is worth it. My fur-kids (typically) dont mind it either. Personally, I would highly recommend them!

My boyfriend and I brought our two cats in this past weekend to get updated shots and a wellness check. We had a few questions regarding the weight of our cats and the veterinarian was so incredibly helpful and talked about preventative care as well. It is obvious that the workers here care about animals even if they meet them for the first time. Our cats even felt comfortable in the exam room. We didnt feel rushed or like we were taking up someones time even though they were busy. Were new to the area so it means a lot that our animals as well as us were taken care of. Thank you Flying Cloud Animal Hospital. I will definitely recommend you to the families I know who have animals!

I had to make the very difficult decision recently to euthanize one of my beloved cats. To a person, everyone who interacted with me that day made that decision and the process easier on me and my cat. I have rarely experienced the level of compassion and understanding that I received, not only the day of the procedure, but in the weeks and months leading to the decision. I cannot recommend a better veterinary practice. They know and love all animals, and they do well with humans as well. Thanks especially to Dana and Dr. Grace on this occasion, to Dr. Krull on others. Cathy

We brought our cat Lily in to have her teeth cleaned on Monday. They did a great job, described clearly to us what was done, and had clear instructions for us on what we needed to do to care for her after she had three teeth extracted. The vet then gave us a follow-up call on Wednesday to make sure everything was ok. I appreciate that concern and level of service. I would definitely recommend Flying Cloud to friends.

For over 20 years I have been bringing my dogs to Flying Cloud Animal Hospital. I have always been happy with the care and attention that my dogs, including Mazi have received. All the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and equally important, they all treat Mazi as if he was their own dog. I highly recommend Flying Cloud Animal Hospital!

My husband and I became first time dog owners this past spring with a boston terrier puppy. Called them up to make a first appointment, very quick and really helpful & polite staff. The vets are great as well, they were understanding and they gave us a lot of great tips. Definitely sticking with them as our primary veterinarians!

Everyone who works there is completely loving and respectful to my dogs. I live in minneapolis and drive all the way to EP for them because they were also better priced when my dog needed a TPLO operation. They rehabbed her perfectly and helped calm my own anxieties. I love their hours as it makes it easy to get scheduled.

I have been going to Flying Cloud with my Beagle Gabbie for over 5 years and couldnt be happier with the service and attention I have received over the years. I have had a couple of scary/stressful instances along the way when my dog got sick and always knew that Gabbie was receiving the best possible care. Thank you!

This was our first "puppy" visit to Flying Cloud Animal Hospital and Dr. Krull spent almost an hour with us reviewing all the shots, why and what they were for to help educate us on making the best choice for our dog. The staff is very knowledgeable and you can tell they love animals....highly recommend this clinic.

I love this place in comparison to every other vet clinic Ive been to. I usually see Dr. Krull but would go to any of the vets there. They treat you and your pets like family, and take good care of them, too. I would drive out of my way to go here even if I didnt live nearby. Ive been a client there since 2009.
