This place is such a scam! I took my 3 children in for their 6 month cleaning/check up. This was my first time to use them, and I ONLY took my children there because of the advertisement we kept receiving. And the dentist we have been using for years is a family dentist and I thought a dentist for kids nice. So, we go in. Nice clean place..lots of attractions for the kids. After it was said and done ALL of my kids "had cavities" LOTS of cavities and my youngest needed 4 crowns. I was in complete SHOCK! I take the kids in every 6 months for check ups/cleanings. They arent allowed candy or soda and they brush twice daily. And I brush my 4 yr old teeth(who has 18 teeth and needed 4 crowns). They kept pressing me into doing the work NOW and they would give me a discount! I refused, because there was NO way they had that many cavities. Especially, since my oldest child sees the orthodontist every 6 weeks, and he never mention her needing crowns or fillings. So, i took them back to our regular dentist(had to pay for xrays) and THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY CAVITIES! And my 4 yr old doesnt need crowns..and one of the crowns Smile Magic wanted to put on was a VERY loose tooth. All Smile Magic wanted to do was max out my dental benefits and drain my pockets, guess driving a Land Rover means I have money. BEWARE of any work they want to do, get a second opinion!

As a parent of 2 girls who love to still get treasures from the tooth fairy, they love and are not afraid to go to Smile Magic, Lewisville. They love going to the dentist for the first time! It is like a party with something each time for them. Last time I went I had my 4 yr old nephew w me. He had been really sick the night before. He thought it was a carnival. He went home and told his mom he wanted to see the dentist and tried a lot of excuses! If I am correct he is scheduled to see them next week. The staff is great! They care about the kids. The first time my younger daughter went there she was a little too scared. The dentist, Dr. Chad Evans, picked up on that and made sure she was alright before she left office , just because she was scared. That goes along way in my books. He cared to make sure she was always comfortable. It is a great place for any kid especially for a scared one! I reccommend Smile Magic of Lewisville to adults and kids!!!!!

While my 6 year old did have fun with all the kid friendly stuff, this is not a place I will ever return to. The staff was not patient with my son during the xrays. They heavily suggested that I not go into the xray room with him, but when he came out he was in tears. They looked at the xrays, told me he needed 4 pulpotomys and 4 crowns and it was going to cost over $1200 with sedation. They refused to do the cleaning until we had the work done, which we couldnt afford at the time. Its been six months since weve been there and we went to a different dentist today. My son still needs the 4 crowns, but does not need the pulpotomy or any of the additional work they wanted to do. My total cost with a different dentist (still pediatric, only a short drive from smile magic) is going to be less than 1/6th the cost. What a scam. I cant believe I almost put my son through all that extra, painful work for nothing.

My daughter was born with weak baby teeth in her gums and has needed plenty of dental work. This is the very first dentist we have gone to since moving to Texas: what a God send! Every single person in there is nice. The place is full of LCD tvs in every exam room that play every kid show you can possibly imagine. The waiting area has a very nice play structure, plenty of seating, coloring stations and a movie theater with actual theater seats! Not to mention the entire place is themed underwater; walls donned with bright illustrations. Dr. Evans acknowledged the previous dental work and made sure I understood what my daughter had done and what touch ups were needed. He is so nice and informative! He is not like other dentists who make parents feel bad about their children having a cavity. They make catering to kids a true art. She really IS a princess when she goes here.

You go in, it is awesome. It has a theater and a play ground and great technology. It is great till you take that seat. I was treated like a number; someone came in constantly asking how much longer it will take. They did not listen to the problems, instead assigns problems that was completely unrelated. I had to go in for the second time in one day and the second doctor had no idea why I was there. The doctors are young and at one point he did not know how to turn on his machine. The assistant nurse was on her cell phone while working on my teeth. The doctor was looking somewhere else and sprayed me with water several times. It is a great place for entertainment, but overall I had a bad experience with the "behind the scene" crew.

Was running late our first visit, called them thought they would reschedual us because we were lost and late, but instead she gave me directrions, and said they would wait for us. I was so impressed with how they treated my daughter and neice, that I asked them if they saw adults, they said yes, and saw me the next day. They pulled two wisdom teeth with no insurance for cheaper than I have found even with insurance. My last dentist would touch them and referred me to a specialist and it was going to cost me a lot more money with insurance than without. Smile Magic Rocks, and is the best.

This by far is the BEST dentist visit ive had. The place is very entertaining for the kids. The staffs are Great! They where very patience n very understanding. Made my kids feel very comfortable n at ease, unlike other dentists ive been to. Ive been to plenty of other places n they are just plain rude n not very understanding of how kids are. It was my 1st visit there today wit my 4 kids. And they Loved it! They actually want to go back. That says alot, especially when they refuse to go to a dentist .

I went for a Wisdom Teeth removal and when arrived for my appointment I did a month ago ... They gave my appointment for 8:00 a.m. to another person! JUST BECAUSE I didnt answer my house phone when I was out of town ? They had my cell number but they didnt call. I waited 3 hours and they didnt call me in so I got another appointment . This has never happened to me and when I didnt answer the phone for my doctor appointment they didnt give my spot to another person ! So I believe it poorly run.

this is overall a fine place to take your children... the staff is pleasant, theres lots of fun things to do. but weve been coming here for several years and Ive never had a quick visit, even for just routine things like cleanings. they seem to always be overbooked. we WAIT and we WAIT. we have always typically spent upwards of 4 hours here, even if I just bring 1 child at a time and even if for just a cleaning. wait times are unreal. for that reason Im looking into a new pediatric dentist.
