Horrible, took my puppy that was 5 months. They told me it was a kennel cough and where going to keep him over night. When I left my puppy there he was still moving around And trying to play. I Called later that afternoon to see how he was doing. They told me they where seen some signs of improvement. That he would be better. The next morning a different doctor calls me to tell me my dog is dien. That he is not getting better and I need to put him down. I get to the vet and notice that the IV that he had on or the whole night was not even open to let the fluid go through. My dog passed away that morning. I dont recommend this vet because they give you false informating and dont even try to help your furry friend. I not the only person that has gone through this.

When I sow my dog shaking, mouth foaming and gagging I new something was terrible wrong. I thought it was to the point of no return but I rush to the Montebello Dog & Cat Hospital. Upon arrival Dr Juan Casillas assure me that never a dog has survived after rat poison ingestion but hell do everything in his power to save "Chucha" so I left the hospital heart broken but I just knew that I had to give it a chance. Next morning Dr. Casillas called me to let me know that "Chucha" was ready to go home and she was fine. I highly recommend Montebello Dog & Cat Hospital. Not only they are professionals but they are true animal lovers. Thank you Dr. Casillas for your dedication and great staff.

Walk-in only, so no appointments necessary. The waiting room can get a little crowded, but it doesnt take too long to see the vet. Dr. Talwar was especially kind and helpful. The staff are good natured, helpful and patient. I dont know how they keep smiling or keep focused with the constant stream of questions, but theyre well organized and manage to juggle a lot of things at once. This will be my new go-to vet since we seemed to get better in-depth care than we were getting at North Figueroa. Decent prices - comparable to North Figueroa and much less than VCA.

Horrible place I was treated like a number the vet that looked at my dying dog literally took 40 secs and was going to walk away I insisted he do more and then heard him speaking no saying dirty things in Spanish about me just bc Im white doesnt mean I cant speak your language he then says he will get a catheter and pass it to shut me up and get me out. Im very disgusted by this place and the overall feel is more of a money sharks office rather than a vets.

In the space of two weeks, I meet two different but very good doctors who were both "new". One recommends a blood test that takes about 3 to 4 days for results. When I call to speak to the doctor about the results, Im told shes no longer there, after only a week! And it doesnt seem like the other doctor is there either. Whats going on over there? How come theyre not staying?

I have 6 cats and when they have a problem I always take my cats to this hospital, because I am sure that they will get here best treatment possible. They performed many surgeries and different kind of treatments on my cats and all of them were very successfu. I am very thankful to doctor Casillas and his staff. Thank you for saving my cats and making me happy!

Really good experience after a frighting situation. Took my 1 yr. old Yorkie here to get her checked out & treated. Really affordable, service was great. The ladys in the front were really helpful. The doctor who kept me informed about my dog was 100 times better than previous experiences in different locations. Will be coming here from now on, Thank you so much.

Excellent. AAAA. Five Diamonds. Ive been bringing our dogs here for over 15 years and it is the best place period. Weve even moved to San Diego, and still come here. you will find no better place, and a great value economically. They are excellent care givers, doctors, nurses, practioners and love pets (and humans too).

Ive been taking my pet since he was months old. I get very anxious every time I go because there is usually a lot of people waiting in the lobby. There prices are not reasonable. I decided to change my dog to another doctor that is less expensive and doesnt charge for things that are unnecessary .

I take my two year old pup to Casillas for his shots or whenever he is sick and they are a bunch of friendly people. Never an issue - always great customer service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend. And we know as pet owners that its important to trust the place youre taking them. <3

If your animal is sick dog or cat Just know the consultation is not worth it because the only thing the doctors gonna say is you need x-rays that are $150 blood work that runs about $50 so they can determine Whats the issue so just know youre gonna be down $235 With the consultation

Office and technicians very friendly, doctor friendly, let me know what was wrong with my dog. Prescribed medicine for some bumps he developed on top of his head. I hope to stay with this dog hospital as we have been taking our dogs and cats for many years.
