I visited this dentist office back in December. I was prepared to pay at most $1K on dental work and wanted to max out my dental benefits before I lost them. I was judged for saying that I wanted to max out my benefits and see what all the insurance would cover first. The doctor came in and talked to me as if I was a child and not an adult that knew this would cost money out of pocket. He sent the front desk girl in to explain the benefits and what work I needed and how much it would cost. I asked questions related to the work that I needed and she couldnt answer them. Instead of her grabbing the dental hygienist or the doctor she comes back with another front desk girl. I asked her to explain to me the difference between a deep cleaning and a regular cleaning. Her exact words were, "theyre going to clean deeper since its been so long since your last cleaning." What? Duh, I know that but what exactly am I paying $250 more for? If I hadnt told them it had been a while would they have said something else? After going back and forth with the young lady that didnt know anything, they finally grabbed an actual hygienist to answer my questions. I was turned off by the entire pre-judged experience so I told them that I was leaving. I asked for a statement of the services I received today. She made a copy of the benefits form that she printed to explain to me what work I needed. The copy was halfway cutoff and it didnt say anything about what was done today. I had to ask her for an itemized bill to get what I needed. I think this office is racist against blacks and judged me the second I walked through the door. I was upset about the entire experience because I was referred here by someone close to me that loved this place and was hoping that I would have the same treatment. I was sadly mistaken. I wouldnt recommend anyone (black) to visit this place because you will possibly be profiled by workers that make less money than you.

I have extreme anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist!! I have passed out twice before at the dentist, once just sitting in the waiting room...lol I typically walk in & automatically feel nauseous; but not today!! I thought I had broken a tooth & Courtin Dental was suggested by a friend. Wow!! I have to say...I was very blessed by the whole staff today! JoAnna, Deb, Dr. B, Brooke & Susan...I pray many blessings over each of you!! Your patience, understanding, gentle nature & overall care & concern for me was above & beyond any Ive ever experienced at a dentist office. Even when I cried (thank you Deb for dabbing my tears)...even when my husband & I needed time to discuss our treatment plan & budget...even when I kept 2 of you there late... Each of you made a typically stressful time for me SO much easier!! Thank you for making me feel like a person that mattered, instead of just another patient! God is so Good & Im so grateful to you all!! Be blessed!!

Dr. Mary and her WHOLE STAFF are the best of the best. Ive been going there for a few years now and almost feel like family. Dr. Mary is very honest and upfront about everything going on with your treatment and Brooke keeps you up to date on insurance approval or problems. Another physician was just added to the practice and though Ive never had a problem getting in to see Dr. Mary Im sure this will be an added bonus to being seen as soon as possible. You cant go wrong with Courtin Dental. Make your appointment now!

I had a great experience with this dentist office. I had a root canal done here & I have horrible dentist anxiety but they did a really good job of making me feel safe, including telling me everything they did before they did it. Going to this place helped me get past my anxiety & I felt better & better each time. The root canal itself was minimally painful & healed up very quickly!

Friendly atmosphere personified...From the receptionists to all the assistants, the lady who takes your money and especially Dr Mary they all make you feel relaxed, comfortable and look after your needs, as if only you matter. i recommend them highly to everyone i know because they treat you right.

Dr. Courtin and her staff are AWESOME!! Dr. B is very professional and thorough. I definitely recommend Courtin Dental to everyone with dental needs. They also do braces and Invisalign and gave me a free Invisalign consult. Right on!!
