My mother was at this doctors office last week. Immediately after she left the office I got a call from her. She was appalled by the lack professionalism this doctor used. My mother explained to me that the doctor did not even give her a chance to explain to her the reason for her visit, before Dr. Sanchez walked out and left her with the words in her mouth. My mom promptly left the office and decided to pursue treatment from another doctor. Clearly Dr. Sanchez was not the type of physician she wanted to do business with. Today my mother received a call from her office saying that the doctor ordered a biopsy. My Mom was speechless because the day of the visit the doctor did not speak but two words to her. She said "thats nothing" and then she walked out. My Mom is 65 and she was not expecting this phone call so she did not ask the proper questions. I then took it upon myself to call and discuss the matter with the doctor. The office assistant did not give me any explanation. She said the doctor had explained to my mother why she needed a biopsy and that she would not discuss the issue with her again. I insisted that she did not and that I need it to know why Dr. Sanchez was ordering the biopsy. They refused to tell me which I understand because of the privacy issues. However, I requested a call back to my MOM from the doctor and they told me this doctor does not do call back. That was not all, she also called my mother a liar since she continued to claim that the doctor did explain the matter to my Mom. The office assistant, told me that I was not there the day of the visit and that I didnt know what was discussed between Dr. Sanchez and my mother. At this point I was not going to continue to waste my time with this Doctor or with her employees. I do believe that they wanted to do a biopsy to charge the insurance but not because there was anything wrong. Finally, all I can say is that unless you dont mind to deal with a doctor and staff that lack any professionalism then you are welcome to try them out. As for my mother, NO WAY!!!!!!!!!! Never again!! One last thing, I will be going to the Stale of Florida Health Dept website and initiating an official complain about this doctor.

My initial visit with Dr. Sanchez was a few days ago. Before going for my scheduled appointment, I was pleasantly pleased with the office staff who helped me with directions to their office. The staff were very nice and courteous. The waiting room is clean, nicely decorated, filled with gorgeously comfortable chairs, and the circulating air made me feel comfortable. I have been in some pretty drab offices! So, was very relieved that this office was not drab. Dr. Sanchez was quick to let me know that the lesions on my leg were not cancerous. She immediately "froze" these two areas. She also prescribed a cream to help with an area on my chest with sun damage. I have a follow-up appointment as early as one week from now. IF YOU HAVE AN UPCOMING VISIT: I brought along my insurance covered-medications booklet to make sure we chose any prescription I might have needed that would not have a co-payment. You may want to do the same. The prescription was faxed to my drugstore right away. So you may also want to make sure you have this information with you just in case. My insurance plan covered my visit 100 percent. I am curious if the review left by Damien was based solely on cost. That would be a shame. I have never heard of an inexpensive dermatologist, or any inexpensive doctor of any sort. I hope he doesnt need to see a dentist ~ LOL! He will be shocked by those prices. Not picking on you, Damien, just commenting on the cost of medical care. Although we share the same last name, Sanchez, we are not related. Our name is pretty darn common in Miami.

The WORST appointment of my life. Dont let the fancy office fool you. They over book their patients. For example my wait was 1 hour and 45 min. Also there was always at least three people standing because there wasnt enough chairs. And there was some problem with AC in the waiting room. Which isnt that big of a deal, however the doctors office was nice and cool and the office manager wouldnt leave the door open to have the AC circulate. The people working the office was just rude and inconsiderate. As I informed Dr. Sanchez about the workers behaviors, she didnt seem to care about what was happening. This women seems to only care about the number of patients she is able to see and not the individual. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. She doesnt even dress properly for work. She wore a worn out jeans along with old gray crocs. If it wasnt for her lab coat I wouldnt have know she was the doctor.

Just had one of the worst experiences of my life dealing with this office. After a one hour wait (during which I was told there were 3 other people in front of me!!!) I was told that they would not take my husbands insurance (because mine had a higher copayment?). Gave the girl the card and still she rudely said "NO!". My husband had called the insurance company in the morning and got the approval, but they said since I didnt call it in to them they wouldnt take it. I asked to speak to the office manager and was told that she was not in. I asked to leave my number and she wanted me to give out my number in front of a room full of people. I asked if I could write it down and she crumbled the post it and said, "then you get your own paper." Wow! Make it my mission to let everyone know how rude her staff is. WOW. If thats who you have working for you, Dr. Sanchez...WOW!!!

This place is ridiculously expensive. They charge about $200 for the first consultation. That means that out of what your insurance pays, usually $75, you pay the rest. By the way, I have Blue Cross Blue Shield. Dont waste your time going here.
