We can here on October 17th 2016 . We took our dog spaarky to the vet to see why he wasnt eating or drinking & barely walking . He was already blind as well . So we got into there they welcomed us with big hearts & then the doctor came in & told us that he had a stroke which is why he lost his coordinates to move & part of his brain had damaged from that stroke & that type of stroke the doctor told us is fibrocartilaginous embolism & which caused him to twitch by his neck & he couldnt stand up or walk on his own . Then we asked well is there anything we can do to help him get better? & the doctor looked at us & said "no , Im telling youu this because theres nothing we can do & I believe in life of animals & he shouldnt suffer more than what hes already have , so its his time to go" . So him being an old 9 or 11 years old pit bull we euthanized him & we are getting his ashes sent to us . What was amazing is that he just looked at him & told us what had happened . All his symptoms happening within a week & just progressively got worse & there was nothing we could do to help him. So he went & took his last breath to be with god around 5pm on October 17th 2016 . Its the hardest thing we ever had to do . So we spent well over 2 hours with him before he went to sleep forever & after that my sister & I layed with him while he was already up in heaven & we hugged him , kissed him , cried on him too & he was still warm for at least an hour longer & his tongue was getting cold & his body was getting cold & he peed on the blanket at the vets & we knew he was living his happy life all over again .

The Doctors and staff are a blessing. I found out that my Sasha almost died over the weekend, and if it werent for the great staff at Fort Caroline Animal Clinic she would have. I didnt find until after the weekend, due to my mother not wanting me to get upset during my cousins wedding. She informed how everyone treated her like she was their puppy. She informed me that Hallie came in around 3 in the morning one night to check on her without being required to do so. Once I got there Monday I could just feel the love that everyone gave her, and thank you to Brian for keeping my mother updated throughout the weekend.Thank you to the young lady who greeted us once we got to the office for making sure I saw my baby as soon as I got there, and to not worry about paperwork until after I had her in my arms. Thank you Ashley for the diet training before we left. Thank you Beth for reassuring me she was ok once I got there and had tears in my eyes. Thank you Dr. Athey and Dr. Lincoln for providing such wonderful care. This Office isnt even our home Vet, our regular Vet was out of the office and the Doctors and their staff took care of Sasha and saved her life. THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! This is a wonderful office, and your fur babies are in great hands if you bring them here. They treat them like theyre their babies.

If i could rate this less than 1 star I would. We boarded our 4 month old kitten here for 4 days. We picked him up on a Monday morning ecstatic to see him after our vacation. He could hardly walk. He wouldnt eat, or drink water. He quit purring. He looked catatonic. The food we provided hadnt been touched, and he had lost half a pound since we boarded him. We rushed him to an emergency veterinary clinic and within 24 hours he was dead. We trusted them with the health of our pet. What safer place for an animal than a veterinary clinic? Apparently, anywhere else. Thanks for dropping the ball Ft. Caroline Animal Clinic, our household is now missing a family member.

My dog was just diagnosed with heart worms from the First Coast No More Homeless pets and wanted to start treatment immediately for the cost of $400. I called Ft Caroline Animal Clinic due to their outstanding reviews and I was amazed at how helpful and nice they are! They gave me a real price scenario and even recommended if I was on a budget that the FCNMHP was a good option and all of the precautions and information I needed! After I get my dogs heartworms resolved I will not go anywhere else but Fort Caroline Animal Clinic! They are truly looking out for the best of you and your pet!

The staff added fake reviews. I know this because their pictures are on these reviews. Go to Normandy or Saint Francis. These people know nothing about bull terriers or even other dogs. They are over priced by 3 times more than the average vet visit. Not knowledgeable. Oceanway is better but still over priced by the same rate. These people wanted $260 for a blood test that cost $95 at Normandy. Or $100 at Saint Francis. They lie to get you in there and do very little unless you sell your car and house to treat your animal. I really hope these rip off places shut down!

We had to put our dog of twelve years to sleep a week ago. She had only been to Ft Caroline animal clinic a few times at that point and they were very good to her. Today in the mail we recieved a sympathy card and a keepsake imprint of our Lilus paw with her name on it. This was above and beyond what we were expecting. We cried all over again but there were tears of happiness mixed in this time. I highly recommend Ft Caroline animal clinic. It is the only place we will be using in the future.

Excellent service Grace the receptionist is very knowledgeable in her job very friendly and warm welcoming and helpful she had a clear answer to a lot of my millions of questions I asked her, she also was very patient. The doctors and their assistants are very gentle and loving about the pets that come through. Waiting time is not long at all. The people were very careful with my dog. I enjoy bringing my dog here and expect to be here for a long time.

This clinic, overall, is the best. Drs. Athey and Lincoln provide excellent medical treatment and both have wonderful "bedside manners". I am so paranoid about what I allow to be done with my fur kids. They understand that here, and always do whatever it takes to assure me that my babies are not only being well cared for, but also being loved. I highly recommend Ft. Caroline to anyone out there currently looking for a home vet.

I moved to Arlington a few months after I got my puppies, Loki(silky terrier) and Heidi (Yorkie). I could not have found a better animal clinic. Everyone is very down to earth and seem to enjoy their jobs. They have always called the next day to check up on my pups and were very concerned about them. I had my pups spayed and neutered here. They took very good care of my babies. Definitely 5 star experiences!

Im really pleased with Dr. ATHEY and his staff for all of their concerns and help in getting Gahanna on a better road to recovery. Gahanna is for sure happy he is in no more pain, but understands its a long way from total recovery. I wish we had been introduced to Fort Caroline Animal Hosipal sooner. Thanks for your concerns and gracious help in getting my little man back on track. Regards, Michael Sing
