I messed up and forgot an important doctor appointment for my son yesterday morning. (I was ill and also working on getting other doctors figured out and it completely slipped my already frazzled mind.) I called to apologize explain and reschedule. Unfortunately since it would have been his first appointment with Dr. Kojic and we were no shows, they refused to reschedule and told me that we are now listed as not to be seen by the practice. I asked if I could leave a voicemail for the doctor explaining. I was informed that the doctor does not have voicemail and that they give her messages and theyll give her my message but it wont make a difference. A part of me understands their policy as the doc took an hour out of her day for our appointment and we were not there. (The lady I spoke with was adamant about pointing this out as I actually started crying with her on the phone.)Another, less rational and more emotional part of me is angered that my son is now "black balled" so to speak because of my mistake. It seems very harsh. But I suppose the rule is in place for a reason. Either way Im beating myself up over it all. At least a friend gave me the name of a great neurologist that I will be calling today. Perhaps it was all supposed to work out this way.

When my 14yr was first seen by Dr. Kojic 11 years ago, that was after 2 years of dead ends, possible reasons for his condition and no improvement with all the therapies we had to go to. In the first visit she recommended we draw blood special for genetics and in 2 days we had the answer we never knew existed! She has seen my son multiple times every year keeping up with him and when he started going through puberty and really having a hard time in school, she was not quick to jump to personally changing medication. She started with the lowest possible dose of least harming medication and worked up. Amazing staff that always great my son and a MD that really cares. We recently changed his ins. Because their office made some changes and would no longer be accepting his old ins. Thats how much we love her.

I first met Dr. Kojic in 2006 when my 7 week old daughter starting having seizures. She was very detailed when giving information about my daughters condition she was very patient with me and my 4 million questions and she spoke to me as if we were on the same level, which was comforting to me. We still see her and new members that are part of the team at Child Neurology of Orlando. I can honestly say that everyone I have been involved with either in the office or over the phone has been perfect. Its really unbelievable (where did they find these people) I think we should clone them. They have been great I dont even know them on a personal level but I actually feel like they are family. Man I love those people. BJ

Dr. Kojic has been great towards my daughters condition. We have been with Dr. Kojic for over a year now and has been an important part of her recovery. We came to her after several misdiagnosis from other doctors. One of the greatest parts has been Dr. Kojic willingness to help our daughter get the best treatment possible including working with other neurologist from Boston and Philadelphia due to the rarity of her case. I have referred other patient with similar conditions to her and she has helped those patients as well in getting the correct treatment and diagnosis. She is an incredible doctor and will continue to recommend her to other patient in the central Florida area.

Worse staff ever!!!!! Staff needs to work on customer service skills. Rude rude rude and no sympathy for everyday life. Missed an appointment because I accidentally wrote it wrong in my calender and never received a reminder call and they wouldnt reschedule my childs appointment. The receptionist and office manager were awfully rude. Hope they never have to see their child suffer to know what real parents are dealing with in our daily lives.

I have been a patient with Dr. Kojic for several years and she has been very helpful through both emergency situations and when my condition was well maintained. It is because of her recommendations that I am free of seizures today. She is a great doctor, but even before that she is a mother and is very understanding through difficult situations.

The staff is unhelpful and rude. The company has a insurance policy which is obsolete and prevent parents from making appointment in a timely manner. The staff needs to work on better customer service. Martha you are rude and incompetence after nine years of working there you need to learn how to treat a patient.

Dr.kojic is amazing! Her bedside manner is not typical for a neurologist. She is kind and caring. She actually saved my daughter from being permantly disabled from grand mal seizures due to dooze syndrome. I highly recommend her!

The staff totally sucks!! That is why I will not come back! If I wanted people to be rude to me, i would go to an amusement parks 105 degrees and food services would suck!! Very disrespectful people working there!!
