In 2006 i was admitted to inpatient for post-partum psychosis,i followed up at kreinbrook with dr. Dombrovski and miss nellori as a therapist,it was the first time i had ever had been seen by a psychiatrist. Following that incident, several years later in 2012, i tried to commit suicide in a lethal manner, thats the term they used at mercy hospital in pittsburgh when explaining why i needed to spend time in torrance state hospital.i was at torrance for 4 yrs and upon my discharge, was reqd to go to chestnut ridge for involuntary outpatient treatment.Chestnut ridge in greensburg is closing 6/15/17,they gave us providers that we could use,i chose to call kreinbrook because they were the only psych care i had in the past. Over the phone, without a dr even meeting me, let alone evaluating me, they said that they could not accomidate my medicinal needs. Im not sure if its because i was in a state hospital and they feel that im some kind of liability or if its because im on controlled medication. Whats funny, is that i definitely mentioned that i was a committed patient and therefore i did not ever, nor do i now decide what medications i want to take. I have a pretty significant dx and they really didnt want to hear that part. I understand that there are addiction issues with certain meds, however 1 of my controlled meds ive taken since i was a child, im 32 now. The other was prescribed without my opinion and i was told random drug tests would verify my medication compliance. It is horrible that the place that i chose to call because i felt that they were one of the most respected providers of psych care in westmoreland county, ended up being just as bad, if not worse than the ones we are all told that are horrible.Whats funny is that i jist said that i didnt want my meds changed, not anything concerning dosage, and whomever i spoke to initially said the issue was the dosages of said medications. There are alot of people in the mental health system that need legit help, and arent just looking for rxs, its very sad for a psychiatric office to turn a patient away because they dont care for the meds/dosages their former dr prescribed, especially without even evaluating the patient.i seen on their website that you can do a skype call with one of their psychologists for $50/20 min. If it wasnt such a waste i would do it and say i feel that i cant find a new dr because your office chose to deny me based on my med list. Its just very sad, and unexpected from a place like this, or so i thought.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. First off, they see you monthly just to get a paycheck because my dr. literally spent less than 2 minutes with me each visit. It was just to get a script. Dr. Somen doesnt LISTEN. The real problem occurred when I needed to cancel my appointment due to an illness. I called and cancelled that morning and left a message to call me to reschedule. Never received a call back so after a week, I called back to reschedule. They couldnt get me in until after my medicine ran out which I voiced my concern to the gentlemen on the phone which didnt even acknowledge what I had said. I called back that same day to see if I could see another dr. that could possibly get me in earlier, I was told you couldnt do that and the woman offered to submit a medication request for the 10 days I wouldnt have medication for (which the gentlemen didnt even mention). The next day they called me and told me the dr. denied my request! So I called back demanding to know what to do since the paperwork from the pharmacy says right on it not to stop this medication abruptly. I asked if I was supposed to wean off with what I had remaining and the girl told me there was nothing else she could tell me other than that she denied the request. As a patient, I expect to be informed, and this place just doesnt do that. I could have gone through withdrawals, etc. The lack of consideration is what made me find a new place to go, thank god!

I like my doctor. I like my therapist. But the office staff is dangerously negligent. I had severe side-effects to a medication recently and tried to contact my doctor to ask if I should go to the hospital. The staff said they would call her, then they called me back saying "weve contacted her, so you may or may not get a call." Well... guess what? They never even tried to contact her. At my next appointment, Dr. Coates was horrified to hear what happened and told the staff they should have gotten me in touch with another doctor since it was an emergency. Amazingly, this was not the first time I was told my doctor had been contacted when in fact no effort had been made to convey my message to her. When Dr Coates and I spoke to the man behind the desk, he was defensive and didnt admit any wrongdoing. IF I HAD DRIVEN WHILE EXPERIENCING THESE SIDE EFFECTS, I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED. I dont know how else to say it. I was really shocked. They arent getting one more penny from me.

I have been going here for about 3 years now. I only saw a therapist there once. I discontinued that. She passed me off saying she doesnt believe in borderline personality disorder and that theres no such thing. Some doctors have their opinions, but this was just asinine. I see Dr. Ahmad for medication every few months. He has cancelled my appointments several times, just a few hours before they are to be and written a prescription for me to come pick up. Once they even didnt tell me he wasnt there and he left me a script. Talk about poor service. The 2 ladies working the front desk are always very rude and seem like mental patients themselves. They always put me on hold and hang up on me. Not my cup of tea, but I continue to go because it is the closest one my insurance accepts. Wouldnt recommend it, especially for children and teens.

I have gone to this place for 9 years and I will never go back. Ive never had any problems until now. This place is runned by young interns who dont know what their doing. When i first started going here the only person who ran the office was Melody. Now the people who work herewont helpbyou. I have been seeingvDr. Fruman who is nice butbif you need a form signed he wont give it to you. It can be a burden. I recently went backvto get a copy of a paper he signed only to see he resigned itvand there was a different date. I didnt know these people are so corrupt and instead of working with you , they are working with the government against you. I went to see a Psychologist about testing onky to hear that she said i was nirmal when i am not. I didnt even complete high school

I would not recommend this treatment facility. The doctors will have you sit with them for 30 seconds while they write you a script an not say any more than 10 words to you. I have had an allergic reaction to a medication I have been taking for a while now going through withdraw an they have told me "the doctor wont do anything until your apoitment" which they refuse to move up even though a patient is going through withdraw. I should add this is not an appointment I made because of this issue it is a regular check up. My advice, if you are looking for pills this is the place to go. If you are genuinely trying to receive help for an issue I wouldnt advise use of this establishment.
