I cannot emphasize the importance of getting therapy, and this applies to everyone. I usually just star things but I decided to actually write something simply out of gratitude to Lotus Counseling and out of service for whoever might be thinking about going. For starters, the office is nice, inviting and comfortable, very well put together. I was there a good few times in person as I live outside the US. Alessana is heaven sent. She set up my sessions through skype whenever I was not in Florida and it was almost as if I was on her couch thingy. She is the epitome of psychotherapy, the most compassionate, rational and reassuring therapist out there. Office staff is also superb. Denisse runs things here and she would email my monthly charges so I could double check session times and costs. I dont even know what else to write on here except that: A. Surely you need therapy and you can probably thank your parents for that, no matter how wonderful they surely were, they screwed you up a bit. We are all human and we all need professional guidance, trust me, so do you. B. Most importantly, go here. Its life changing

My main review is under Lotus Brickell location, as that is the office we visited most frequently, but I had to review the Aventura location since our therapist was able to accommodate our schedule there on a few occasions; this is one of the many reasons I love Lotus! The staff is caring and accommodating and at the end, I had always walked away feeling lighter, brighter and empowered!
