Youre better off taking a solitary walk on the beach and listing to the ocean waves then expecting Dr. Pizzi to guide you with insight and perspective on relationships. I met with Dr. Pizzi for four sessions, three of which were with my partner. Dr. Pizzi didnt remember which book he insisted that we read and his big advice after my break up on the fourth (and clearly final session) was "go to the gym, that will help with your self confidence." Thanks for that doctor... how revolutionary to hear that exercise does the body and mind good. Oh, it IS normal to be experiencing frustration after a breakup? Wow. Not exactly enlightening, or helpful. I guess Pizzi wanted to feel he contributed somehow so his parting gift was a pamphlet on how divorce is difficult for kids. My partner and I were not married nor did we have kids. Thanks doc for being so… hmm… what’s the word I’m looking for? Unprofessional? Unskilled? Useless? I can easily communicate with everyone yet these sessions were a waste of my time and money. I got better and more useful insight from walks on the beach, from reading articles and books, and from conversations with family and friends… and yes, even from going to the gym. He might be good for someone, but for me it was a fail.

Dr. Pizzi is patient, caring, respectful and professional. I was blessed to have the opportunity to meet and work with him 5 years ago in which he helped guide me to become a stronger woman for myself and in my personal relationships, marriage and family. I again reached out to Pizzi this year to "freshen" up some of the tools I had learned a few years ago and within months was back on track. I again learned more about myself in this new phase in my life and am so grateful to have been able to work with him once more. He is honest, pays attention to details, has a great memory and truly listens. There is no price on happiness, self-understanding and growth. I recommend Dr. Pizzi with my eyes closed.

Approximately four months ago, a "six-month treatment plan" was created and implemented and I must say, on our most recent progress review, it has been nearly completely achieved ahead of time! This is totally a journey for me and not a destination! I cannot say enough good things about the way in which Dr. Pizzi zeroed in on core issues from the get go and gently threw me onto the path of better thinking, better feeling and happier living!
