I heard about Amoderm from a friend and after doing some research about them online, decided to take the plunge and commit myself to the long drive from Los Angeles to OC. It wasnt just the long drive, but i was mainly nervous as it was my first time trying a cosmetic doctor. I have had some lines and wrinkles on my forehead and around eyes that were starting to get pretty noticeable and also didnt like the deepening lines running up around my mouth. I called Amoderm first and spoke with a lady who explained everything in detail. I told her I wasnt sure what I needed and what was best for me, and she reassured me that Dr. Jafari always does a detailed consultation and explains things that can be done and then I could decide if I wanted to do any of the treatments she suggested. Upon my arrival to the clinic, I was happy to see that the clinic was very nice and clean (with tons of parking which is a huge plus for anyone coming from LA!). The front ladies greeted me with big smiles and gave me their forms to fill and within minutes, I was seen by Dr. Jafari. Let me just tell you that Dr. Jafari is the sweetest and nicest doctor Ive seen in my life! She is very friendly and all my stress and concerns disappeared within seconds as she started to talk with me and discuss the reason I was there and what was bothering me. She listened very carefully and as we talked, reviewed my pictures and areas that could use some help. She also reviewed tons of pictures from her other patients and things that she had done for them, and it was easy to see that she knew exactly what she was talking about. At the end, I decided to do some botox for my forehead and between eyebrows and some juvederm for my face (cheeks and around the mouth) and it was much easier that I thought!! She used this long needle to do the injections under the skin as she moved it around without having to poke the skin many times. It was completely pain-free, but I had to say it was a weird feeling having the needles moving under your skin! But no pain, so no complaints! We were done in no time and she gave me a lecture on things to do and not to do and what to expect after the shots and I was on my way. Now a couple of weeks has passed and I cant just believe the positive transformation this whole thing has made to my life! I no longer have to suffer from the tired and down look I used to have and I enjoy all the compliments I get from others - friends, family, coworkers and customers - on how energetic and refreshed I look. I always chuckle a bit as I can see that they cant really say what I have done but they just see that something is different in a good way, and thats really what I was hoping for to have natural results. Discovering Amoderm and Dr. Jaafari was one of the best things that happened to me, and I will gladly make the long drive anytime to go back and see her. Stop your search and call them if you are looking for an honest, nice, experienced and skilled cosmetic doctor and you wont regret it!

When I finally decided to give laser hair removal a try, I looked around and decided to go to Amoderm after reading their great reviews and I couldnt be happier! They were very helpful from the beginning and managed to schedule me very quickly. The laser consultation was very helpful and helped a lot with easing my stress about doing the laser. I spoke with Tara and Dr. Jafari for my consult and was happy to see that everyone was so nice and friendly. Dr. Jafari answered all my questions in detail and I was really impressed when I saw that they seemed to be genuinely interested in helping me and giving me all the information about the treatment and things to do, etc. I never felt any pressure to buy anything and at the end of the appointment when I told them that I wanted to think more about it before doing the laser hair removal at Amoderm, they were perfectly fine and didnt seem to be bothered at all. So I eventually signed up for doing lasers at Amoderm and the laser treatment sessions were similarly great. Everything was so organized and I didnt have to wait. I did treatments with two of their nurses and they were both super sweet and friendly and helped me a lot going through the sessions as I was doing many areas. After completing all the laser sessions, Im glad to report that most of the hair in the areas I lasered are gone for good. I am really happy with the results and with months passed since my last sessions, I havent shaved even once! They do many other things and Im planning to go back and do another consultation with Dr. Jafari to see what she recommends. Going to Amoderm has been one of the best decisions Ive ever made!

Hands-down this is the best place in the OC to get laser hair removal. I have been a client for many years and couldnt be happier. Everything from the warm greeting of the staff and informative initial consult to the highly organized scheduling of the treatments and the professional and friendly nurses all send the message that these people know what they are doing and they are great in doing it. I had my initial consultation for laser hair removal and my consultant and Dr. Jafari both patiently listened to me and my horror story of past experience at another place. They took time to explain how laser hair removal worked and all the things I was supposed to do to get better results (which I followed religiously and I am so glad with the outcome!) Their laser machines are very powerful and unlike the other place where I either had to suffer burns or fail to see any results, their results were consistently better than what I had hoped for. Absolutely no burns or missed areas, and I was happy to see the hair falling off after each treatment and growing less and less, to the point that soon, it was almost nowhere to be seen. Oh what a relief! Now I hardly ever have to shave and any hair that grows in between the shaves is barely noticeable. I just cant say their praises enough. This is absolutely the best money you can spend for yourself (or loved ones) to save yourself from the hassles of never-ending shaving or painful waxing and Amoderm is the best place to do it.

Long-term client and first-time reviewer. I have been doing laser hair treatments at Amoderm for over a year and couldnt be happier with the results and my overall experience at Amoderm. I had done tons of research on laser hair removal and had read about different laser machines, and knew I could see better results with YAG lasers. So I started calling up different places nearby and started checking out the ones that offered this type of laser, and I am so glad I found Amoderm. I was impressed by the ease of making appointments and the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. When I saw their doctor and spoke with her, she gave me very helpful advice and I really felt they were more interested in helping me decide what was best for me and not just pushing me to buy. The consult went well and I signed up for a couple of areas at a great price and scheduled my sessions right away. I had my lasers with three of their nurses over the months and have been happy with them all. More importantly, the laser worked amazingly great and most of the hair is gone and not come back. Such a time (and even life) saver! I am so happy for finding Amoderm and have already sent them a couple of friends who all have been equally happy so far. What else can you expect from a top-notch medspa? Definitely check them out!
