The Millenium Medical Care Group maybe one of the worst medical practices out there. The level of incompetence coming from this practice is unbelieveable. Where do I even start? My wife started going to this particular office for a couple of years. After a while, she stated that the office told her that she had a balance on her account that needed to be paid. Previously they sent us a bill in the mail whenever that was the case. I did not understand why they werent sending a bill for this balance. My wife asked for a copy of the bill and that stated that would mail it (they use a third party service to send bills). We never received it. We called a couple of times to tell them that we have not received a bill. We asked them to check the address. They claimed that they had our updated information. In between this time we had moved but we also changed insurance policies. The insurance policy that my wife was using was opened well after we moved to our new address. Nearly a year and a half of them stating that we have a balance, they sent us a letter to our home (the new address) stating that they would send us to collections. At this point I am completely confused how they can send a collections letter, but cannot send a bill after we repeatedly asked for a copy of the bill. So I contacted the billing department. The representative explained that they send bills to the billing address of the insurance policy, and collection letter is based on the address of the patient. This is 100% false since our policy had changed with a newer address and the new policy was never opened with our old address. It was clear that they never updated our address when our policy changed. They kept the address from the previous policy and never updated it even though we explained we werent getting the bills. The representative explained that if I want to resolve this issue I need to talk to the practices CEO, Arun Sekaran. Interacting with Mr. Sekaran showed me why the offices for this practice are so poorly ran. He did not take any responsibility for his staff consistently failing to address the fact that we werent receiving the bills. Because part of the bills accumulated were a result of an accident (that wasnt our fault), I tried to explain to him that the bill needed to be forwarded so that the insurance company so that they would pay the bill. At first he was reluctant to agree to that, but then he eventually agreed that I can hold off on paying that amount. Since he agreed, I paid the other part of the balance, but 3 weeks after making a payment, we received another collection notice. I explained this to him and he accused us of not paying anything towards the balance, which was not true at all, I made a payment after we agreed that I should pay the non-accident claims. Eventually he went through his records and realized that he was wrong about that and told me to disregard the letters (even though the agreement of making a partial payment was to stop the collections process). Between the staff and the CEO, this practice could not get our address, phone number or records of us paying our bill correct. These are the same people that are being relied on to keep up with your health????

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. For being a new patient I was seen in a timely manner but its frustrating going anywhere and not being informed that the physician you chose is not even there! A simple phone call would suffice. My appointment wasnt until 4pm, you had ALL DAY! I should have taken that as a sign because after that it went down hill. The receptionist asks why Im there and I give the usual, "a checkup/physical." Ok, she gives me papers, takes my co-pay and a nurse gets me about 10 minutes later. And this nurse proceeds to cough without covering her mouth. Sign number 2. So I get to the back, and wait about another 5 minutes. Not too bad. An assistant comes in and does the basics, asks about medical history, last menstual, etc. Then she asks me how tall I am. I pause. I dont know. A little over 5 feet? Isnt this your job to put me on the scale and tell me? Not the other way around???? So anywho, I finally seen by the doctor, who proceeds to tell me that I cant get a physical because they are usually done in the morning before the patient eats - sign number 3. I told the receptionist that I wanted a physical before I signed any papers. There should be better communication in the office. You run my insurance, get my co-pay just to tell me I cant get what I came here for in the first place... what in the world. So days later, I check my medical account to see that they billed me $150 for an administrative physical that I didnt even receive. I came in for my annual physical - which is completely covered by my insurance WITH NO COPAY!! (and they charged me!) In fact, I received NO PHYSICAL that day. NOTHING. This screams SCAM!!! I swear do not waste your time here.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I went to this clinic on April 6th because they usually take walk-ins. I was getting alot of pain in my left foot. I went in and it took the doctor about 90 minutes to see me.. She told me to go for an x-ray which I did. This was all on a Wednesday and I was told that she would follow up with me by Tueday the following week and let me know about my results. Two weeks in and I still did not get a call so I went online and found out I had a spur. So I called the office and the receptionist tells me very casually "Oh you have spurs". I asked her what do I need to do since I am still in pain, she put me on hold and the line got disconnected. I have never heard from them since. Everytime I call the office, the phone just rings and no one picks up. It frusterating that a Doctors office would be so neglegent about their patients.

First, it is your responsibility to take care of your health. I get my physicals at 4 PM and yes, that means I need to be fasting...which I am. They have never turned me away for a physical in the afternoon, because I, as a patient, understood the procedure and followed their instructions...which they tell you at the time you book your appt. As adults...they dont measure your height...you should know it since it no longer changes after puberty. Weight is different but most should know it and they will ask before weighing you. The wait times can be a little long but I have had worse. The waiting area is a little cramped to be sitting there for a while with infectious people. The nurses who draw blood needs to learn how to hit deep veins (rare in my experience). Those are the only negatives I saw.

Dont think twice about this office - RUN. Especially if you have a chronic condition - medication refills are nearly impossible to get without numerous phone calls from the patient AND the pharmacy. You WILL be without your meds, no matter how much notice you give them. NOT good for a diabetic to be without insulin! Additionally, they will try to get you to come in for as many additional appointments as they can. As another reviewer remarked, its difficult to actually get a physical, even if that was the entire purpose for the appointment. Its either the wrong day or the wrong time... Seriously, anything to get more appointments out of you. It has gotten worse the longer Ive been going, and now Im DONE.
