I would rate this as zero stars if I were able to and the one star signifying that I "hated it" is an understatement. I have never been more infuriated with a visit to a medical professional in my life. I have had two experiences with this place, both times with something in my eye that I was unable to remove on my own. The first time the Doctor was uncaring and rather rough in removing the foreign body which left my eye irritated for several days although the object was removed. When examining me he kept looking into the WRONG EYE time and time again. By the way the man was acting it was clear that he was unhappy with his job and wanted to be somewhere else. A few days later things were back to normal and life went on. The second time (1.25.15) I went in with the same issue. The Doctor ( different one this time) came in the room and to my bewilderment looked into the WRONG EYE. He was unprepared with the necessary equipment and did not know how to operate the equipment with any level of proficiency. He was not thorough at all in looking for the object and insisted that my eye was scratched, mind you I could feel the object moving all around my eye when I would close my eyes or blink. Eventually he decided to irrigate my eye to attempt to flush it out, a task he gave to a nurse who although gentle and concerned with my well-being was clearly not able to preform. I applaud her effort anyway as it was far more than the Doctor did. Upon re-entering the room he again said that my right eye was scratched (mind you it was the LEFT EYE) and that I should go the the emergency room to be looked at. He said that was the reason my vision test was so bad when I had told them previously that I am dyslexic and had not slept in days due to this thing in my eye so no wonder my vision was a bit off. He asked if I was taking any prescription drugs and when I answered no then proceeded to mockingly laugh and asked if I should be taking any prescription drugs, like I should be on something because of the way I look. I decided to leave and try my luck at a professional rather than a back ally Doctor. Bottom line: thing still in my eye, more pain after visit than before, $250 less in my bank account and all for nothing. The good points are few. The lady at the front of the desk was an absolute gem and I would be happy to deal with her anytime, the nurse that checked my vitals, the two nurses that got the irrigation equipment set up and the one that stayed behind to preformed the procedure were very nice and I had no issue with any of them. The facility was spotless and the wait was almost non-existent.

My real review is 0 stars but it is not an option. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Seriously turn your car around. Find another urgent care, a minute clinic, the ER, a witch doctor, your neighbors kid in pre-med at the local community college. Seriously anyone would be better. I went here because my 8 month old had a high fever that wouldnt break. My pediatrician advised me to get him seen. I called ahead to make sure someone was able to see a baby and was assured that they have staff that is competent in pediatrics. When I get there, only 2 people are waiting. One had been seen and was waiting for a ride (she was very angry and kept talking about how she was going to be late for an appointment) the other hadnt been seen but was pissed and said all she needed was a drug test for work and it shouldnt take that long. I should have left then but thought- how long can the wait be if there is only one person that needs a drug test? The answer was an hour. When we get called back the nurse was perfectly pleasant. She weighed my son, confirmed his fever, etc. then brought me to a small room that was FILTHY. Seriously so gross. Trash literally on the floor. Looked like it hadnt been cleaned ever. Well I brought his stroller and could hold him so I stayed. The doctor came in over an hour later saying they were "so busy". Again- no one in waiting room. She didnt wash her hands- I assumed she washed them outside. She looked in my sons ears and then ordered a strep test and a flu test. I told her he had the flu shot but she didnt seem to care. Then we had to wait for the results. I tried to leave twice while waiting. She kept stopping me. When I tired leaving I noticed her going into other patients rooms without washing her hands. Thank you for spreading diseases! Both results negative. I didnt trust my care so flew back early to see me pediatrician. I was told that babies dont get strep and that the test was a waste of time. He had a very common virus and was diagnosed within two minutes. I was given a handout on the virus and told what to expect. That morning his nose started running and I started with a fever. Turns out that we picked up another virus at urgent care. There is no one you can call to complain about the care. Basically dont go here unless you want to get no answers and pick up another illness.

I have been there twice and both times everyone up front was extremely nice. One time it was for severe vomiting and the second time I tore my ACL. They got me in quick and treated me very politely, being funny yet still professional. The nurse and doctor both were very quick and very thorough with their examination. The only 2 reasons it is not a 5 star is because I was diagnosed with a torn ACL and am being sent into an orthopedist. The orthopedist was able to get me in the next day but we needed the x-ray CD. They told me I was good to go and I hobbled out of their on crutches which I had no idea how to use and when I called back they said they could not fax it but I would have to go back in (which I could not drive with the knee immobilizer) making it so I had to have a family member drive back for the CD. They told me they tried to get it to me but I left to fast (it took me like ten minutes to get from the exam room to the front door). The other reason is a lot more understandable. I understand why you would be hesitant to prescribe pain medicine, but I would rather just be told to take Aleve then given Naproxen that wont touch the pain I am in. I guess they figured I would get into the orthopedist quick and he might prescribe something because I am in a lot of pain. It was not something that was expected but after the diagnosis it was a head-scratcher that I didnt get at least something I cant just grab over the counter. Overall it was a very good experience. Pain meds arent that big of a deal, just kind-of irked me. Bothering my family to run back to pick up something isnt that bad except for the fact the way it was phrased on the phone they acted like it was my fault I didnt get the X-ray CD. Those are two very small things so it is definitely a place I recommend.
