I have been a patient for almost a year and asked to speak with the manager Pam in regards to the fact that I have been sick for a week and cant get into the office. I called three times and spoke to Laura that insisted my last name so "she could look up my file", what does she need to see other than me asking for the manager. I was livid that they just keep sending me back to Urgent Care because it costs more money in co-pays with my insurance. I am tired of being sick, I went to the Urgent Care center Wednesday of last week. I was given antibiotics that havent worked yet, I have been taking them for almost a week. I wanted a letter from the office stating to my employer that they are unable to get me in the office due to full appointments scheduled. Laura stated to me that they cant do that, WHY? I am sick I need something for work and they are refusing to see me, she then left another message on my phone claiming I am a new patient, these people dont even know who there patients are, seriously. Laura stated that Pam was not in the office today as she had left, Pam called me back at 11;40 a.m. and left a message with a rude ending. I would not recommend this as it seems that they like to play games with patients health, I take it serious when I am sick because I never usually get sick and when I do I cant get into the office. Urgent Care does not know anything about my history but at least they called three days after my visit to see how I was doing. When I let them know that I am still sick they said to call my primary care physician or come back in. As you can see it seems to be back and forth with this and I cant seem to get a simple diagnosis! Please someone get me some care without having to fuse back and forth, as I stated my family will no longer be going to this office as it is extremely ridiculous.

Reading the other reviews Im either extremely lucky or everyone is basing their reviews off of one poor experience. Lets be honest... Every place has their good and bad days and in the 3 years I have been bringing my 2 now 3 young children here and am a patient myself, I have received nothing but absolute excellent care and respect. I was extremely sick and the ER turned me away within 5 min of seeing the doctor and charged me full ER and private doctor fees. I saw my doctor the next day (got me in and always has same day) and for my co pay was told exactly what could be wrong and was sent for multiple labs to rule anything out by Dr. Kent Johnson himself. He and all of the staff are fabulous. They are kind urgent and honest. My kids love them and know most of them by name. Every time we are in the office the entire staff greets us by name and genuinely know who we are asking about certain experiences we spoke about the last visit. I have only seen the same people in the office over the last 3 years. I dont think their doors are revolving what so ever so not sure what the other person is talking about.... We think of them as family and will recommended them to everyone. Great practice and staff and will continue going to them as long as we live in Phoenix whether on East or West side! Thanks to all the staff for being so great to my kids and I!

These people never fail to piss me off. They bill dishonestly. (Converting free wellness visits into chargeable sick visits by inquiring about my past.) Then, the mighty gatekeepers wont let me ask the doc a question over the phone. I have to "schedule a visit". Theyre money hungry. Two attempts, pissed me off twice... Im done with these guys.

It is hard to see a doctor here, you will mostly see a PA. In the 5 years we were here, the PAs all changed and 2 doctors left the office. The staff is nice enough, I just do not think you can get consistent care here if you like to see the same person visit to visit.

They keep telling me that there is past due item every visit. This time they said it was the old billing system. Dishonest office staff, and billing practices. Do not go here. Sad, because the doctors are actually good.
