Ive been going here for 15+yrs. Havent been there in the last several yrs though. Took my dog in for breathing trouble (turns out he also had fleas and an abcessed tooth), Im never going back here. So sorry because I loved Dr. Moulder, shes awesmoe, just wasnt happy at all with the other vet there. No compassion I hardly talked ot her. I talked to the tech more, I left with cough drops and meds for fleas. 2 weeks later I was flea free but thats it.I took him to Fox Lake Animal hospital, my dog had severe tooth infection and the infection was going to the chest area. got him antibiotics immediatley and did the dental work for 1/2 the price I was quoted here.

this place is terrible. they have no compassion for your animal. they only want your money. no matter what you are calling about they want you to come in for a "exam" which usually consists of the doctor coming in, poking at your animal and walking out. this place has gone down hill dramatically since dr baumann and dr mulder left. i would not recommend taking your animal there.

Very good animal hospital. They were prompt, professional and very good in describing our Golden Retrievers issues. They even went out of their way to call a local specialist and ask him to stay late and do an emergency ultra-sound. Ryan also showed us how to carry Clare without causing her pain...thank you for being so compassionate.

Vet and staff are caring and seemed genuinely interested in the best for our pets. Clean facility with plenty of room for multiple animals. Seemed very knowledgeable and on top of the least in animal medicine. Only knock is that it wasnt cheap, but you get what to pay for: in this case quality pet care. Recommended; will use again.

We would highly recommend Wauconda Animal Hospital! They really care about your pets. We take our chocolate Lab there and have never had any issues. Dr. Nemmers, in particular, is a terrific Vet, but the other are also very, very good and so are the Techs who work there.

Doctor Nemmers is an excellent vet. Very patient with the animals, and very good at explaining everything to the owners. I take my cat and dogs there.
