Dr. England has a good heart. The prices are reasonable and we have brought our dogs there for 23 years. However, I find that he is very cost adverse in his treatment and sometimes does not do tests to rule out things. This has had poor results with us twice. Our dog Buddy, a dalmatian, had a head injury when he was about two and in later life developed a lesion on his brain and needed to be given phenobarbital which solved his problems for several years. He became unable to eat and Dr. England at first told us that it was a bacterial infection and prescribed antibiotics. The dog went down hill and we ended having to take him to an emergency vet clinic where they did a xray and determined the reason he could not eat was a tumor pressing against his stomach. We had to have the dog put down. Most likely if he had correctly diagnosed the problem it would not have made much difference in the outcome. Our next dog was Ridgely. He began to have symptoms of confusion, and shakiness. Dr. England again prescribed the same medicine which we gave for nine months. Then over last weekend the dog became disorientated had trouble walking and weakness. Cedar Hill Vet was closed so that again I had to go to the emergency vet. They found that the dog had very low blood sugar and was in diabetic shock. We lost him. In both cases Dr. England diagnosed the dog without testing and twice he was wrong. He stresses that a lot of money can be spent on test, but in this second case it would have saved my dog. The couple of hundred dollars to do a blood test would have been money well spent. The symptoms that Ridgely displayed are classic diabetes.

Total care and Total compassion... these Doctors and their staff care more for animals than any veterinary office Ive ever been to. Worth the wait and time... the kind understanding which was given when I had to put down one of my animals, Dr. Englad was very sensitive to my situation, he and his staff showed understanding and compassion. In an emergency, they have been there also, to quickly take care of my pets needs. I recently moved out of town... but will drive the distance so that they can keep taking care of my pets. I know my pets will get the quality care they need... Thank you, Thank you, Thank you...I am so grateful for all you have done.

I would step in front of the car while its moving toward me before I would come back to this place. This vet treated me like I didnt know what is going on. He said that he has not bathed his dog for 7 years, he just brushes. I guess his dog doesnt smell He does not sell tooth paste. He said I should buy a particular dog food, and when I checked a dog food site that rates dog food, the site said do not buy that food I live in a RV and have traveled with my babies (dogs) andhave seen a lot of vets and I was treated a lot better at all of them. If you are looking for a good vet in this area, try Ennis Veterinary Clinic in Ennis, TX.

Dr. England is a Man of true integrity. When Niema was sick every Vet I went to told me to "Put Her Down" yet I knew in my Spirit not to do so. I kept hoping and Praying I could find someone that could figure out what was wrong & help her...Then I found Dr. England. He worked her Up and Kept her for one day.... and guess what???It was a deep ear infection!!!!! Everybody else wanted me to Kill Her and charge me 400 dollars to do so!!!! You want a Professional? You want someone who cares about your Pet? I need not say anything more You have a choice to make,....make the right one..... like I did.... David Caramela

Dr. England is amazing. Every time we take our pets, his treatment of our dogs insures us that he loves them too. He spends extra time with us and explains in detail what care is needed for them. Because of his love of animals you know he is not trying to take advantage of your finances. On a personal note, it is obvious that he is true family man. I have seen him at sports activities with his children. We trust him completely and you should too. When we walk into his office we feel confident we will leave relieved that our doggies have been well cared for again. AWESOME MAN.

This is hands down the best place to take your pet. Worth the wait if there is one. The staff is great and Doc is the best ever. A real guy who you can relate to and takes his time with you. He will make you fell your the only one in the building. Very generous with his time. This Vet makes you feel like your in a small town where everyone knows each other... An easy going place. Its not till you walk back outside that you realize the hustle and bustle of the world we live in......

I must start by saying that my dog will NEVER see another vet while Dr. England is in practice. He is an awesome vet, and he never rushes you or makes you feel stupid. He answers any question you have and he treats your pet like it is his own. The staff are great! They are courteous and knowledgeable, and always friendly. It is a walk-in clinic, but it is sooooo worth the wait!

Best vet we have seen in decades. With five animals in the house, it is good to know that these people are there to help when you need it. The "no appts" rule means you will most likely have a long wait, but it is worth it.

On the phone they agreed I had an emergency and to rush in. After completing paperwork (BTW why does a Vet need your social and DL#?) they told me its a 3 hour wait. Love the scam theyre running to get you in the door.

I have been going to Dr. Timm for almost 30 years. He is the best Vet I have ever known. It is very obvious to me he is not in it for the money. He simply loves animals and has their best interest at heart!
