We had a fight between our two dogs and it didnt go well for our sweet girl. I called my usual vet and every vet in my town, with no luck. Finally one of the vet offices told me to call Old Orchard. It was the best decision Ive made. Dr. Salib and staff have been awesome. They got me in immediately and set out to cleaning, stapling, and sewing her up. It was awesome to have a vet who was concerned and gave several options as to how to get her fixed up. On top of it all my dog LOVES him! I have never seen her so excited to see a vet. Especially one whose had to deal with her in pain. I also got to take in my other dog and we talked about options to help him with his anxiety that sometimes overwhelms him and leads to outbursts of aggression. Needless to say I will be continuing to bring my animals to this small clinic because I believe this is a vet and staff who care. Dr. Salib takes a lot of time with you to talk and go over everything. I have never felt rushed or like I was just another box to be checked off. I highly recommend this vet.

Long-time area resident that used Old Orchard Animal Clinic for in excess of 30yrs..Involved with local Humane Society and Pet Rescue organizations.We have always had dogs in our family and make every effort to seek the best care for our "Kids". Dr. Kirby was an excellent Vet and has now retired.We met Dr. Salib and immediately observed his comfortable interaction with our pets and were impressed with his genuine interest in our pets health and we listened to his recommendations.We had tooth extractions on two pets and they recovered very quickly and could discern immediate positive results.Since then, we have returned and always have been impressed with Dr. Salib and his Staff.The "Kids" wag their tails in his office! If you are seeking a Great Vet that loves his patients, Dr. Salib will meet these requirements.He is a Blessing to us.Although we will miss Dr. Kirby, Dr. Salib has become an excellent replacement we will use for years to come.

Amazing!, so caring, and words cannot express the amount of gratitude we feel, after taking our basset hound for an extensive surgery, and seeing her recover its a miracle, how well shes doing, she had benigne mass build up in her body, in the form of cyst that were starting to get bigger, and one of them was in her neck which opened, and would not fully scar, it will open and scar repeatedly, causing her to have an open wound, the size of a quarter, plus three other ones, (one specially bigger than a ping pong ball, on her shoulder, that was about to burst) 4 large incisions, an almost 5 hour surgery,very risky, to which the doctor kept us updated the entire time, she spent the night, and they even shared a video with us of her, eating!after coming out of the anesthesia, it was such an intense procedure, that it meant so much to us to be able to sleep, knowing that she was okay. So Thankful for them,highly recommended!

Yesterday, I had to put down my 14 year old baby. Ive had him since he was 2, and he was my very first baby. Dr. Salib instantly earned my trust when I called the office, and he took the phone over from the staff to speak with me. When we got there, not only did they take us in right away, but the dr was in the room with us almost the whole time, talked us through every option he could possibly see fit, he hesitated on the suggestion that he really saw as our best option considering everything, and was so caring through the entire process once we broke down and went with the hard decision. He offered every ounce of comfort that he could, and was so gentle and kind. I have never instantly trusted anyone in a medical field, but I did with this man. I will forever be thankful, and will be returning with my other pets. I will highly recommend to anyone who asks. Thank you so much Old Orchard staff! For everything.

I have had 8 animals in the past 23 years that have been patients at one time or another at the Old Orchard Animal Clinic. The care there has always been excellent and my animals have all loved walking in the door with no fears at all. Through the years the office has maintained that Norman Rockwell feeling by not having the newest and most expensive waiting room,or exam rooms. It did and continues to have the feeling that all the staff cares.Dr Kirby invoked a calming presence that my animals recognized time and again and they knew they were in great hands. The new staff has continued the same practices with some updates here and there but basically staying true to the old time feeling. I really like them and will continue to use them with confidence.

Excellent Doctor. Took our cat and German Shepherd to Dr. Salib, he gave each a through exam. Our German Shepherd had to have emergency surgery, Dr. Salib sat down with us and took his time explaining what was wrong, what the surgery entailed and any risks involved. Dr. Salib and his staff were extremely nice with us and made us very comfortable in the decision we made. Even when we took our dog for his check up, he still asked how my cat was doing (turns out she has a sensitive stomach, full recovery). When it comes to choosing a Dr. for any of my pets (my babies) I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Salib and his staff for any future visits. I cant thank Dr. Salib enough for saving our dogs life.

Dr. Gus is the most caring vet I could ever ask for. We had to put our 12+ yr dog down and Dr Gus made this transition with all his heart. Never have I seen a vet who would lay on the floor to examine our pet rather than lifting him and causing more discomfort. We received a sympathy card in the mail shortly after and signed by the staff. I really admire him for being old school. All notes are hand written and love the sound of the typewriter. You have a life long client Dr Gus. We look forward to your care for our other pet. THANK YOU!

Dr. Salib and the entire staff are amazing. After many dogs and several Vets in my lifetime I’ve finally found a Vet that is beyond the status quo. Dr. Salib is generous with his time. His exams are more thorough, he listens to your concerns and comments without you feeling rushed in and out. And most importantly his diagnosis and treatments are spot on. He truly cares about every pet that comes through his door. Thank you Dr. Salib and staff!

Dr. Salib is a great and caring Veterinarian. We loved Gus Kirby, and he was smart enough to sell his practice to an equally talented and smart Dr. Our dog Doc just recently had to be put down because of degenerative disc problems, and Dr. Salib was very honest about our options for Doc, and we came to the conclusion that the most humane, of course, was to put him out of his pain, as hard as it was. My 17 year lold dog Jacob recently had surgery here at the clinic. I want to say that Dr Salib and his sfaff were outstanding in caring for jacob. Before surgery Dr Salib talked to me about what would happen. He gave me the courage to say yes I trusted him and was so glad I did.
