Let me start of with a positive: I continued to go back for Dr. Lyubaov, she is genuine, diligent & just the best. Now...the place being poorly managed is an understatement! I have conventionally waited up to 1 .5 hours for an Rx and for actual PTSD or CBT therapy (Ive heard others say up to 3.5). I have heard the others in the waiting room losing it, I have seen couples begin to feud (some of this is entertaining), I have heard kids or tweens completely go bananas in that lil rm. I have seen one of the many girlies they hire pretending to be secretaries (HELLO RENATA) bully and talk condescendingly to patients (These/we are people just a bit loss, some crying even, some unstable, all just patiently and inquisitively just wanting to know when they will be seen). To which as a social worker & zero-tolerance professional I have voiced my concerns & when I went for the suggestion box it disappeared. But this last time --- I am frigging done, they continuously double book & it is not in accordance to new patient, or emergency fill-ins, or schedule per doctor, nor schedule per day/hrs but personal or plain, old fashioned disorganization & ingratitude. I have gone there a yr (soon after my work-incident) and had chosen to perform a mini-social experiment in the waiting rm to find this as an AHA result: that when it is barely empty they pretend not to see me (I suggest you always ask others for their appt times with which doctors) & let in others whose appts are later than mine before me claiming they missed me. I once had the doctor write a court letter for me (which I waited for like 2.5 hrs, took another hr to co-draft) and the spicy-borderline-nasty-think-their-too-cute-to-be-bothered-with-their-paid-duties receptionist (if youd call them that) actually talked to me horribly because they chose to eat first (actually approved by the managing overseeing) and type it up riddled with typos. #1 priority should be get the patient in and out. Its TIME we as people start giving us the decency wed like to see in the world - by taking it back for ourselves. BY not accepting or tolerating this crap for so long. When something or someone promises you relief and care & what you get is STRESS & headaches its not right WE deserve better, PLUS Im sure we all have better stuff that need be done. Should the doctor open up her own practice shed give them a run for their $ & Id wait on that line (like those best buy black Friday ppl), just saying. Bety-Yessenia Catala, MA

Ive been a patient at this facility for almost three years, and never had a bad thing to say about it until this past week. In fact I was the first person to DEFEND this place when others spoke negative about it.. Long story short, the staff dropped the ball on what should have been a quick & simple notification to my insurance company. A fax was to be sent from the office for approval for a prescription, apparently this was too much trouble for these women who work there. Glad I had the foresight to check back with my insurance to see if they had received this fax, when I was informed that they in fact, had not received it I called Stress Care and was told that Joyce would call me back. This was on Monday 8/8, its now Wednesday 8/10. When I finally had my fiance call the office to see if he could get somewhere with these women, he spoke to who we think was Joyce, who had the audacity to ask him if I was taking more pills per day than what was prescribed to me. Instead of admitting that maybe she screwed something up, she tries to insult me as if I dont know what Im talking about. Very passive aggressive. It blows my mind that this is the level of service were receiving from a mental health care facility. Unfortunately, us patients end up being at the mercy of this staff- Im now out of my prescription and have to go in this evening to see one of the doctors (mind you, my fiance was told this after my medication consumption was questioned) and I can only hope that this is straightened out in a timely manner so I dont end up having to pay out of pocket for my medication. I normally dont take the time to review online, but I felt that my situation needed to be shared, especially with anyone who was considering using this office. Id like to reiterate that this is a MENTAL HEALTH care facility, and while I understand it is a business as well, you would expect a little more compassion & sympathy received from its staff. Once my fiance & I get this issue straightened out, I will be seeking treatment elsewhere.

BEWARE!!! This place is horrible!!!!. I really believe any polite reviews are from the staff themselves. The woman Marina in OOP is extremely rude and nasty and should really find another job that does not consist of a role dealing with people. This woman is rude on the phone, talks about people when she hangs up. My mother heard her talking about me after her hanging up on me one day, more than once. I have left several messages for her supervisor "spanish woman with hard name to pronounce" regarding this matter and the lack of responces, of course no return phone calm. I have expressed these concerns to Lyndsey who seems very passive and just appologizes but oviously resolves nothing, because this women is still doing the same damn thing. My mother is there currently, as we are trying to get her out of there. The main operators on the higher level seem way more professional and helpful. But the downstairs OOP in this place SUCKS!!! I do not write reviews often. The only reviews I actually go out of my way to write are the ones where a buisness or faciluty exceed my expectations in a good way. As well as the companies that are poorly managed, disrespectful, rude and dismissive to the people who are paying "insurance" their salaries. I would really like to know who are the owners of this place and how can they possibly think this behavior is ok. The fact that I have expressed this woman Marinas bad attitude to a supervisor, a caseworker and she is still doing the same thing is beyond me. Places like these should be helping people, not creating more anxiety with their lack of respect and compassion. I truly am disgusted and strongly urge you to consider other facilities.

None of my experiences here have been good. They staff alone is rude and very unprofessional. No respect and they think they ARE always right even down to their billing department. My son had an appt and I called to confirm. THANK GOD I did only come to find out that the Dr. Geller is no longer in the Matawan office. If I didnt call I would have went there for nothing. They said they were telling people as they were confirming. I never got that phone call and why, because they didnt enter my information in their computer properly. My son is now seeing a new Dr. there because I cant make it there in time to the Manalapan office. Now my son will have to start ALL OVER again with a new doctor. Kids become comfortable with someone they need to stay with them. The wait time is ALWAYS over an hour long. You get NO return phone calls from the Drs. I needed a diagnosis letter and they told me I had to come in and pay my CO-PAY of $40.00 in order to get the letter when my son was just there 1 week prior. I personally needed to be there to tell the Dr what to write. WHAT????? R U KIDDING ME! They need someone to come in and whip that place into shape! All the girls need customer service training! The only thing they have going is its a clean office! I would never recommend this place to anyone! I wouldnt even give you one star but it wouldnt let me post until I did.
