Worst place Ive ever encountered. Took my dog to be groomed there. Stressed the importance of her getting her anal glands expressed and double checked it had been done when I picked her up. They swore up and down they got them all cleaned out. They flat out lied. Two weeks later my dog has a huge swollen abcess due to her anal glands NOT getting expressed. The new vet I went to said it was impossible that they expressed them. She was in severe pain, shaking and with a bleeding hole on her back side. I was left with a $300 vet bill. And thats only half of the issues with this poor excuse for a vet/groomer. They also cut several of her nails too short and they bled, cut one of her nipples making it bleed and they leave their back door to the kennels wide open when no one is there so anyone could take your dog at any time. I live 30 minutes away, I told them this and when they called for me to come get her I said it takes me 30 min. Ill leave now. Their response oh yes I see you live 30 min. away thats fine. I get there in 25 min the place is closed up with a note on the door saying they would be gone for the next 2 hours at training. A receptionist finally showed up and refused to let me take my dog or even see her until the groomer returned. I had to wait 2.5 hours for them to return to get her. This place should be shut down. If you dont want your dog mistreated and possibly stolen then avoid at all costs.

Very poor job of assessing my pet. They ended up costing me 400.00 extra , they did not listen. .I repeated many times that our stray that we just found was having diarrhea and vomiting...Their assessment was his stool was fine...I did ask for a fecal check several times...I never did get to talk to a vet..The vet tech was insistant that he was fine...I also had to almost demand they do a skin scrap because of missing hair...long story short I paid 140.00 for a Rabies shot ,exam and flea and tick meds...very poor exam...I wonder if the vet even saw him now. 4 days later was at the emergancy vet hospital for bloody stools and vomiting. They had to give fluids ,fecal test and meds...he was loaded with hook worms....They suggested we find a new vet...Seguin AH should have done the fecal exam , because of lack of history and the symptoms I explained...according to the emergency clinic.I know that I would not have had to pay out the extra 400.00 and my dog would have been less truamitized....At least my dog is better and I will will be letting everyone know about the poor care..Also if u r forced to use this group do not leave your dog watch everything they do, so u will not be charged for things that were not done.

My daughter-in-law had a male Manx cat that became ill a few days after she adopted him from a rescue center. We sought medical attention at 2 other locations but were unsuccessful due to "by appointment" only & other unforeseen circumstances. It was a blessing that we were referred to the Seguin Animal Hospital location by a staff member from the last place we sought help. Our cat was seen within 30 minutes of arriving by Dr. Debra Cunningham, DVM, Dr. Cunningham is an amazing vet; she is truly an a animal lover & has empathy & compassion for both the animals & their humans. The entire staff was extremely attentive to the questions & concerns we had. They were very thorough & caring during the exam & did not rush us out the door. I personally dont have any pets right now, but if I did or if I were someones pet, this is where I would want my humans to take me for treatment! Thank you, Dr. Debra Cunningham, DVM and the staff at the Seguin Animal Hospital for your excellent service, love & dedication to all.

For all you folks whining and moaning about the ladies on the phone: let me say this about that. The ladies that answer the phone ARE NOT DOCTORS of Veterinarian medicine! They are extremely busy and doing their best to be efficient; dont expect them to diagnose your pet over the phone as well. If you are to damn lazy or cheap to get your pet into the office when they are sick, dont get a pet in the first place. If you have never been to a vet before, do not expect an immediate appointment, or instant entrance when you have an emergency! And for your information, Kat, I dont believe a word of your review. I have been going to that clinic for over 20 years and have NEVER seen a staff member be rude to anyone, not even somebody being rude and obnoxious.

I found a stray puppy that was nearly on her death bed. I was desperate to get her some help. After calling so many places to try and get my Bella seen as soon as possible. Seguin Animal Hospital seemed to my Godsend. I called in and the staff was extremely helpful. They allowed me to bring her in that very day to save Bellas life. I wasnt sure what to expect when bringing her in, Bella was seen very quickly. Her vet was nice and very intuned to what exacly she needed. Bellas vet and staff saved my puppys life. Prices were reasonable considering the circumstance. I will be returning to Seguin Animal Hospital from now on.

I decided to try Seguin Animal Hospital. Called, made an appointment for a simple nail trim. The lady I spoke to on the phone stated I did not need shot records, but I sent them over anyway through email. When I walked in for my appointment, I was greeted by a front office worker name Ruby. She had a horrible attitude and spoke poorly about her other employees. The attitude was so horrible and persistent that I literately walked out. I sure hope the front office staff isnt a direct reflection of the rest of the employees and vets. My business will be taken elsewhere!

I Have been bringing my pets here for years. The staff is very caring and treated my pets with the utmost care. They treat them as a family member. I drive from Austin to Seguin because I only trust them with my pets. Annie who was very helpful in treating my pet along with Dr. Leslie Moczygemba. I am very grateful for having them care for my dog. Best veterinary hospital in Texas.

Horrible staff. Ive been here twice now, trying to help my mother with her sick dog, and the ladies at the front desk are awful and extremely rude to me for no reason. The actual veterinarian was amazing, very nice lady, but front desk staff are horrible. Dont get a job working with people at a front desk if you dont know how to treat them!

Called about spay/neuter services and other types of vaccinations for cats; the girl on the phone was eager to cut me off mid-question, and didnt give very elaborate answers, I got the impression because she didnt know the answers to my questions. Not to mention, Crossroads Vet seems to be cheaper! Ill be taking my animal there instead.

I have tried many different vet offices over the years and I can finally say that I found one I love. Every person working at Seguin Animal Hospital is there because they love animals and not just to earn a pay check. I have been taking my animals there for over a year and have only had amazing service.
