On my first appointment the office lost all my medical records that I had sent by my regular OB/GYN. Luckily I had my own copy so we were able to proceed with the appointment. Then Dr. Dunn ordered lab work for me & my husband and the order did not have all of the tests that he said he would order for my husband (fault of his nurse for not reading his orders correctly). When I called to tell them and ask that they fax over a new lab order, his nurse told me that my husband could just go to his primary and ask for them to run the tests. After arguing that that would be very inconvient and would cost us additional fees, she retyped the order and faxed it. I mean how hard is that? Why didnt she offer to do that in the first place. Then I had an appt for a sonohystogram and when I got there they said they didnt have my appointment. I had to call a specific nurse during a certain day in my cycle to set up the appointment and yet they still didnt have me scheduled. But they did try and work me in and after they had me wait for over an hour, a nurse by the name of CHRIS came to start the procedure. She was the worst. VERY VERY rude and had no bedside manner whatsoever. She went to give me a vaginal ultrasound and practically had the probe up my butt and told me that the reason it wasnt going in was because I wouldnt relax. She actually said if you dont relax it is going to hurt you more. I got up and left after that without doing my procedure and told the front office that CHRIS was horrible. You would think Dr Dunn would call to find out what happened or apologize but no, he never did. After a few weeks, I called to request my lab results and the lady that handles the records told me that it would take her 10-14 business days before she could even pull my records. 2 weeks, really? I mean everything is electronic and scanned. I even offered to come pick them up to expedite getting them but she said it would still take this long. This place is a joke. I think Dr Dunn is nice and knowledgeable but I would not subject myself again to dealing with his staff and I think he has enough business that he doesnt really care if he loses a patient. If you are dealing with infertility or recurrent miscarriages, I am sure you are looking for a caring and kind office considering all that you are going through. This is not that kind of place!

When our journey with Houston Fertility Specialists started, my husband and I knew after the first meeting that we were in amazing hands with Dr. Randall Dunn. He is an amazing doctor with a phenomenal bedside manner. He never rushed through our visits and always listened to our concerns, questions, consoled us in times of need, and provided encouragement. Our journey was not always wonderful, but having Dr. Dunn and his staff on our side we knew that we would have our happy ending. Our baby boy will be here in October and we know without God and Dr. Dunn we would not be anxiously awaiting his arrival. We are so thankful and blessed for our time with Dr. Dunn and his staff.

Dr. Dunn was very nice bit the nursing staff is non attentive and fail is follow up. When you go thru this process their are a lot of questions and being able to reach someone is important. You can never reach someone if its an emergency at Dr. Dunns office. It is only a 50/50 chance you will get a call back. So if you want the best Dr. then Dr. Dunn is up their. But of you want great service this is not the place you should go. They are too busy to care about the small questions.

I was Dr Dunn patient 1995/96, with all hope lost that we cant have another child, Dr Dunn with God support made it possible. The employees were also very supportive, you can call anytime of the day 24/7 and you will get to speak to a real person. Our son is 19years, healthy and strong. We have recommended many to Dr Dunn and will continue to do so as long as he continues his practice. He is the best fertility specialist. Highly recommended.

Dr. Dunn is an amazing fertility doctor. I wasnt sure about having a male doctor, but right from the start he made my husband and I feel totally comfortable. He has a calm manner about him that just makes you feel like everything will be alright. With him, I had hope that we would get pregnant, and now our son is two. When we are ready for a second child I am excited to go back and see him.

He was the first doctor to figure out what was wrong with me and we were successful in achieving pregnancy within three month (two cycles).
