I am going to start off by saying I am not a very easy person to please when it comes to the dentist. Ive had great experiences and Ive had terrible experiences.. today I walked into Coast Dental at 3:30 with pain in my gums and although they were booked up- they made the time to see me and take care of me. From the moment I sat in the waiting room I was taken care of. All of the staff was pleasant and helpful- but Kara and Trish were two women who changed the way I feel about the dentist! Kara took care of me. Turns out I have Gum Disease. Unfortunate. But Kara gave me a step by step guide on how we are going to make it better and how she would clean out my gums. Trisha walked me through my bill and made sure I was taken care of even though it meant the two of them would have to stay an hour late at work. I made sure they knew how greatful I am to have received such amazing care in just a couple of hours- but I am now going out of my way to post about just how great they were. I will absolutely be reccomending Coast Dental in Vero to anyone who needs a dentist. Thank you Kara! Thank you Trish!!

HAD to go here, only dentist to take my insurance. Equipment is from the dark ages. They take manual notes with shared pens while wearing the same gloves that are going into your mouth. The dentist placed my file on top of the "sterile" equipment and proceeded to take notes. Never changed gloves between note taking and putting hands in my mouth, leaving the room, etc. They "get you" on the oral cancer screening for $65 (not covered by insurance). Then, after the hygentist probes your mouth they want you to sign for an "advanced" cleaning for $200 (also not covered). When I refused and said I just wanted the normal cleaning I was told they did not have time to do that. Had I signed for the $200 cleaning (involving injections, special mouth wash, etc.) I could have had THAT cleaning. Left there with no cleaning. As a new patient I felt the doctor should have introduced himself...I still dont know his name. BTW...I my mouth is in great shape and Ive NEVER had a cavity or required "additional" cleaning in my 40+ years. DO NOT GO HERE...waste of time and money!

I chose this office when I got dental insurance about a year ago. During this time I have had nothing but trouble from them. 1) They demanded I owed them $70.00 because the insurance would not pay. The truth is they never cashed the insurance check that was sent to them. 2) When you pay them for services about 2 months later they send you a bill saying they undercharged you. The truth is they lie about what it costs in order to get you to agree to get something done. 3) Finally, they almost never answer the phone and require you to leave a message. Over a week ago I left messages for 3 straight business days that I had a broken tooth and was in SEVERE pain. They NEVER called me back. LEARN FROM THIS OR BE SORRY. YOU WAS WARNED.

I had my partial plate relined and two weeks later it was still cutting into my gums. The girl who answered the phone was very sweet and concerned. Then I got the office manager (not my first encounter with her) She informed me that since my partial was only relined, I would have to pay for another alignment! I spent $400.00 the first time and was not about to do that again. I hope Dr. Kroner starts her own practice and does not take the uncaring and frankly nasty, office manager with her! I agree with the last reviewer, they set up a list of things I needed checked, another $300.00 or $400.00. Coast Dental is just an awful business!

Ive never really had to have any dental work done other than cleaning and braces. Dr.Overleese took all 4 of my wisdom teeth out a few months ago and he did an amazing job. Im terrified of shots and there were quite a few shots involved with numbing my mouth and I didnt feel a single one again. He did such an amazing job. Im very pleased with the little bit of work Ive had done there. All the staff members are very welcome and make me feel very comfortable. Overall, I think this is the best dentist Ive ever been to and they really do deserve 5 stars, if not more.

I went to Coast Dental because it is the only dental office in the local area that accepts my insurance. I had a tooth that was severely hurting. Unfortunately when I went, I discovered that the place is quite dirty. After being x-rayed, I discovered that I need a root canal. My quoted price to that oral surgery was $1800 and my insurance would only cover $400. The largest part of that expense was the $700 for the anesthesia and my insurance would not cover the type they were going to use apparently. I will be in searh of another dental office.

Go there - this Dentist has the most capable hands and pleasant manner and the staff is the same. It was necessary for a needle (I hate needles) and while waiting for the pain to commence there was nothing - not a pinch, not a sting ... nothing and then he was done, WOW! Never ever happened like that to me before! He fixed what another (not to be named) Dentist had not done properly and saved me the time and cost of an expensive implant. I really dont understand the negatives coming from this review site unless its the competition?

After many bad experiences with dentists, I just came out of a front upper root canal and NO PAIN, I recommend this practice COAST DENTAL of Vero Beach fl to anyone who is afraid of the dentist visit and cant deal with needles . He used a certain technic that didnt hurt at all, very calm and pleasant experience. The equipment is dated and need some upgrades. The staff is very punctual, front office is very helpful, lots of parking space . Thank you Dr. Michael Overleese !! Im coming back.

It seems these discount benefit plans are all the same.Their providers are all HORRIBLE .Dentaland in Fort Pierce is the same, terrible, terrible, terrible. The worst dental office I have ever been to , seems like a dental mill ,with a long line of cubicles containing old decrepit equipment. The worst personal service imaginable.Everything seems to be about the dollar. Thanks again , I have saved myself from another bad MCNA provider experience.

Very disappointed with this office. I waited 2 months for a new patient exam, which was cancelled the day before because they had to fit an emergency in. I was ok with that because Id want the same service. I was rescheduled almost 1 month later, and again, the day before my appointment, it was cancelled because they had to fit another emergency in. Sounds like they have trouble keeping up with the patient load they already have.
