I became very disenchanted with my prior dentist , thus , I began searching for a new dentist by using Groupon for simple cleanings , after visiting several different dentists in the area I came upon "Amazing Smiles " & Dr. Ho ..from the moment I walked into the office I was impressed , the atmosphere is positive , the decor is bright & modern...Dr. Ho & her dedicated staff are amazing , they are competent , enthusiastic , efficient & truly seem to enjoy what they do... they are concerned about the "comfort" of the patient , their equipment is "state of the art " & the fees are reasonable . I am very picky , that being stated , I was so impressed with Dr. HO that I allowed her to completely remove all my amalgam fillings & replace them with ceramic ones along with replacing 2 crowns ( i modernized my teeth ) she is , not only a competent dentist in the technical aspects of dentistry , but an " artist " in " customizing " the final outcome of the dental work she has done ....I have an even more AMAZING SMILE than I had before & Dr. HO has a lifelong fan !!!

Dr. Van Slooten is an incredible dentist! I have been his patient for over two years and am thrilled to now be seeing him at his new practice, Dental Health Center of Northern Virginia. Dr. Van Slooten has handled multiple issues for me (broken tooth, crowns, and fillings), helping to fix current, and prevent future, issues. He treats his patients respectfully and holds himself to a high standard of workmanship integrity. Dr. Van Slooten is a professional who will be up front about work that is needed, but does not put any pressure for unnecessary procedures. He is very friendly and you can tell that he truly enjoys his profession! I used to dislike visiting the dentist, and the needles in my gums were the worst, but Dr. Van Slooten has such a great approach that I would actually call my visits blissful! I couldnt be happier with my experience over the years with Dr. Van Slooten and, having sent family and friends to him, highly recommend him to everyone!

I have had great experiences with Dr. Van Slooten, Dr. Lazour and their staff. I’ve been going to the practice for over two and a half years now. I was not satisfied with my previous dentist and came to the practice because of its great reviews. I have not been disappointed at all. I’ve had a variety of issues with my teeth and Dr. Van Slooten and Dr. Lazour have been able to handle them all. I have received multiple fillings, two crowns and a root canal. I received excellent care for all of them. They provided a fantastic recommendation for an Endodontist to handle the root canal. The doctors are very easy to talk and they explain what is going on. They make a personal connection with patients and it allows me to feel confident in their care. All of the staff are very friendly and professional. I am glad to have dentist I am confident in and highly recommend them!

I give Dr. Sylvie Ho and her office staff top marks in their professionalism and their friendly manner and kindness.I needed work done on some old fillings that needed to have some crowns and a few other issues that needed attention.Everything was taken care of as painlessly as possible and with the utmost skill. Digital photos were taken before and after so I could see just exactly what needed to be done and how it was taken care of.When it will be time for my next check up and dental cleaning I will not be putting if off for a year like I have been doing in the past, that is for sure !!

Weve had a wonderful experience here so far. My two year old daughter just went for her first cleaning yesterday and she loved it! The staff is efficient, kind and wonderful to work with. Dr. Van Slooten is a great dentist, whether you are a grown up or a child. Hes a really thorough provider and his office is beautiful and had really modern equipment that makes things a bit easier for patients. He and his staff clearly work hard to provide the best care for all his patients--Im highly satisfied.

Dr. Van Slooten and his staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. Ive been to about a dozen different dentists in the area in the last couple of years and finally found one that I trust (and like). The office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and even comes with a little play area for the kids. In the heart of Falls Church and comes with free parking (garage to the right when you pull into the shopping center). Highly recommend - try it out!

The parking garage is very convenient and free in the inner shopping strip. The office is clean. Dr. Ho is very sweet and takes the time to show you with pictures the health of your teeth. Her staff is very helpful and they have some of the new XRays which are much safer and use lower radiation. They have massaging chairs. She located a cavity underneath a filling from a previous dentist. Of course she fixed it but I never knew.

Like everyone else on earth, Im not a fan of going to the dentist. However, visiting Amazing Smiles and having Dr. Ho as my new dentist was a great decision :) Very friendly and informative, she talked me through the whole process of deep cleaning (something I do not wish upon others) it was a gruesome process but she made it go smoothly. Shout out to the friendly receptionist & her dental assistant!
