The office staff is efficient and pleasant to deal with, and the physicians and PAs are caring and highly skilled (a rare combination), so I highly recommend this practice. Two caveats that shouldnt run you off, but you should be aware of: 1. You may notice some struggling with the input screens for their computer patient management system. Its features change often, with insufficient training for users. (Im unusually picky about that because I used to train system users.) This software vendor doesnt provide the online, hands-on training/practice exercises with every update that have been state-of-the-art for over 10 years. 2. The billing service they use is WAY out of sync with your and your insurers payments. If you get a bill that seems incorrect, call your INSURER, not the billing service number. Your insurers customer service agent should be able to straighten it out, including contacting the billing service and calling you back with the outcome.

A Private User

Avoid this clinic at all cost! Inconsiderate office staff, overcrowded waiting area, longest wait times I have ever experienced - up to 3.5 hrs in the office. To fill a form, there is a fee. To cancel an appointment, there is a fee. They have late hours, but if your insurance does not cover them, you will be stuck with the payment. I have never got to see the same Dr. twice. I have a serious allergy to a certain class of medications, - the Dr. forgot, the pharmacy caught it fortunately, called back, and I was again prescribed a medication I would be allergic to. After the second call from the pharmacy, the Dr. said there was no other medication they could prescribe that I would not be allergic to. Today I visited a different Dr. who found a perfectly safe solution.

The Doctor-Patient relationship is truly one of our most important. We all want one thing,..."Peace of Mind". In my opinion as both a patient and company CEO, I am very pleased with the consistently high level of service provided by the group at GMS. My physician is Dr. Weissman. In my opinion he represents the high level of professionalism that is seldom offered in todays fast paced world. In addition, Dr.Weissman and his colleagues make certain that their patients experience the same good service from their front office. That is the responsibility of Kenia at their Amberley Drive location. Simply put,....she represents the "best of the best" for herself and her team. Thanks Dr. W. & Team. Pete G.

I have had the distinct pleasure of being a patient of GMS Docs - New Tampa Primary Physicians for nearly 12 years! My wife and (now) adult children are seen by team @ GMS. Their expertise, kindness, and compassion are bar-none! Simply put they are EXCELLENT! The staff is very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. They are not quick to see and dismiss you but rather take their time in understanding your needs in prescribing the correct course of treatment. In my 12 years as a patient I have never had a bad experience. Period. They are open later than most offices and even offer office hours on Saturday.

Since 2003 I have been coming to this wonderful practice. Dr. Ford was the first physician Ive met she is a dedicated physician with a kind and caring heart. All medical personnel is about care to an outstanding level. From reception to billing no better. Ale, Caitlin, Priscilla, Taylor, Rebekah, Alicia, Kathy, Lisa, Amelia, Kenia, Dr. Martha Ford, Dr. Mark Weissman, Leilani Otero, Kim Channels and all their wonderful personnel thank you for your kindness and dedication. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Weissman for well over twenty years now. If you are looking for a caring physician who actually listens it would pay to give these folks a try. I am not a newcomer to this area. For years I had to go to the ER for rapid heartbeat that came on without notice. Dr. Weissman prescribed medication and no more ER visits. We truly respect him and his knowledge but most of all just taking the time to explain what is going on and what our options are. In our opinion, he is one of the best internists in the Tampa Bay Area.

I have such a great relationship with them that I have referred my best friend to them and she is also very satisfied with them as well. I will truly miss Dr. Frazier since he was the first doctor I saw when I started going there and because of how he treated me as a patient, I continue to go to them. They are really good at working with me since I am a self pay patient with no insurance and they still make it affordable for me to be able to continue my medical needs with them. Thanks to the whole staff there and KUDOS to all!!!!!

I have been a patient of this practice for over 20 years. I think that should speak volumes. I am treated with respect, kindness and dignity. The entire staff listens to my issues, asks clarifying questions and seeks consult and extra information when it is needed. I love the friendly staff and the efficiency of the office. My favorite people are Dr. Weismann and Kim Channels. They have stood by me and my family through some hard situations and supported us with great care and consideration. Thank you everyone.

I have been receiving medical care at GMS for several years. What I like there is that I can make an appointment to see a doctor in very little time, usually within one or two days. I also have found that the doctors/PAs are willing to take time to listen to me; I never feel like I am being rushed out of there. They really seem to want to help me, they order appropriate tests and keep me informed. I am 67 years old, very active and I credit them for helping me to maintain my good health now for several years.

5 stars to Dr. Ford, and Ms. Otero. They are personable and knowledgeable physicians. Also, 5 stars to how easy it is to get a same day appointment! I very much appreciate it, specially when I feel terrible and need to schedule ASAP. I only dropped the overall rating to 4 stars because the waiting time is ridiculous! You will need to wait at least 45 min to be seen by the doctor; I can only assume it is because of the same day appt. situation, which is great, but it comes with the wait time drawback.

Dr. Martha Ford was extremely concerned with my problems. She listened very carefully at what I was experiencing and that means a lot to me as some doctors are so busy that they dont really listen. Dr. Weissman also has been concerned with my problems and they both have been so helpful. I have recommended the office of GMS to many of our friends that have asked for help in finding a Primary care professional.

I wish I would have read the reviews before going in, but they were one of the offices near my home that could see me on the same day. I was there for almost 3 hrs (waiting room + patient room) only to see a nurse practitioner for 5 mins just so she could prescribe me a z pack for my sinus infection. Please go somewhere else, they try to charge you for as much as they can here.
