I scheduled this appointment and specifically asked if my insurance would cover my glasses. Barbie the lafy who scheduled my appointment said thay yes they would. I had the exam and halfway through my exam I was told that a pair of glasses werent covered at this location and it would cost me if I wanted them. They proceded to tell me that Park Nicollet in Burnsville would have been covered by my insurance. Barbie then tells me that there is no way she could have known prior if my insurance would cover it. I replied by saying that I specifically asked that when I scheduled the appointment and if I had known that earlier then I would have gone somewhere else. She turned away and did not reply. That is so unprofessional and wrong to give a customer invalid information. I basically wasted my one eye exam a year on a place that doesnt take my insurance yet told me they did. The other part of my experience was with Dr. Emily herself. She needed to redue my inital eye exam and her reason as to why i had to redue the exam was it didnt read correctly because you were talking to much during the exam. I didnt talk at all because I didnt feel comfortable from the moment I stepped through there door. I should have walked out but I stayed because I needed glasses for school. What a mistake I made. But if you enjoy being scammed and given the wrong information and not finding out until its too late and being accused of things you didnt do then this is the place for you.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and made my visit a pleasure! Sandy greeted me at the front desk and was very sweet and pleasant so I felt at ease from the moment I entered the office. I usually have a very hard time selecting frames so really appreciated the help I received from Lisa along with suggestions from Dr. Palmer and Lisa about computer glasses and dual lenses. Dr. Palmer was very thorough and explained everything very clearly and answered the questions and/or concerns I had. A huge thank you to Lisa for making me aware of Care Credit - that is a bonus - and to Jacci who fitted my glasses when I returned to pick up the order. I love my glasses and sunglasses and thank all of you for your help and advice! I would definitely recommend you.

I saw Dr. Chris Palmer for my annual eye exam. When I arrived, the clinic was very professional looking and the people were warm and welcoming. My wait was short and my visit with Dr. Palmer was very thorough. I found him to be both personable and professional. He answered my many questions and helped me understand more about what the eye exam includes and why its so important. When I was done, one of the ladies who worked in the front reviewed my insurance for me and discovered I qualified for a nice pair of glasses. She took the initiative to do this on her own and it benefited me because I really needed a new pair of glasses. I plan to continue going to Burnsville Family Eye Care for my eye exams and I will refer my friends and family to them.

I have been a patient of Burnsville Family Eye Care for approximately 4 years and I love going here. The staff is always extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. They have a large selection of glasses to choose from, so I have always been able to find a pair that I like. It generally only takes a week or less to recieve your order of glasses or contact and this is super convenient. I would recommend Burnsville Family Eye Care to anyone who is looking for a great eye clinic!

Ive always had a great experience at Burnsville Family Eye Care, and this is coming from someone who is extremely picky about their optometrist. Dr. Mattson is extremely knowledgeable in his trade, using some of the more advanced techniques regularly. He also explains everything he does with thoroughness, making sure you know what all the tests indicate. The office staff is friendly and helpful. This is definitely the place to go to for an eye exam in the Burnsville area.

Every time we go in we are welcomed with a smile and everyone there is ALWAYS helpful and friendly. I started going there when I moved to the Twin Cities because I lived just a couple miles away. I have since moved 20 miles further away, and since theyve relocated, they are now 25 miles away, however we still plan to go here because we get the best customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly and helpful environment.

Such a great experience. I had a long day at work and the last thing I felt like was an eye exam. My exam was quick and painless. DR. Palmer was so laid back that I actually enjoyed my appointment. I really enjoyed my experience at the burnsville family eye clinic. The doctor was very knowledgeable and she made me feel at ease. They worked with every bit of insurance I had and I ended up with a really funky pair of frames! Im a stylist and decided I wanted a pair to be an accessory.
