Very suddenly and unexpectedly my husband began experiencing excruciating, unrelenting pain in an upper back molar. Hed previously complained of a vague sort of ache in that area, but nothing approaching this. The only momentary relief came from holding cold water in his mouth and tilting his head so the water would rest against his tooth. As soon as the water would begin to warm, the pain would roar back. This took place going into a Friday, so of course every dentist office in the area was closed and would remain so for three days. We frantically called every local dentists "emergency" line we could find, but we were met with crickets. Nobody would call us back, even to simply say they couldnt help. We were on the verge of going to the hospital emergency room (my husbands pain was truly that blindingly bad), when we came across Emergency Dental Care USA through a Google Maps search. I called them up, expecting to be met with another voicemail box, but to my surprise a very nice woman named Jessica picked up. I explained the problem and asked for the soonest available appointment, which so happened to be only 50 minutes away. Fantastic! We rushed to the office and very swiftly a dental assistant named Rita took my husband back for x-rays. I asked to be in the room during the procedure. My husband needed a root canal, as an infection had set up underneath a molar cap which was the source of the pain. Dr. Vladimir Melnikov performed the procedure, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely thorough and very, very careful and deliberate in analyzing the x-rays to be absolutely certain he had pinpointed the source of the pain before beginning. He explained exactly what was going on and what was needed in order to correct the problem. I was especially impressed by the extra time he took to very clearly explain what he was doing to address the infection and the timing that would be required before a follow up visit in order to ensure that the infection was truly gone before putting a permanent crown back on the tooth post-root canal. Dr. Melnikov was truly excellent, and his assistant Rita was very attentive to the needs of the moment. And the office manager Jessica who originally scheduled the emergency appointment did a wonderful job explaining our financial options and exactly how everything would work with our insurance. Overall, the team did a truly excellent job and they were there for us when no other dentist was. Im writing this review the day after the procedure, and my husband says he only feels the smallest bit of tenderness in the area, which really is remarkable given the work they had to do. If you find yourself in a bind and need an emergency dental procedure, I highly recommend Dr. Melnikov and his team at Emergency Dental Care USA!

Ive never been so insulted in my life from a place. I took my friend there to get a chipped tooth looked at. First, it cost her $120 just to see the Dentist. Two x-rays later he has a mirror in her mouth telling us that she has cavities in every tooth. He insulted her by saying that she didnt take care of her teeth that she drank too much soda, and that if she didnt stop, then in two months shed have to decide between saving her teeth or getting dentures. It was plain scare tactic to get her to spend money. He recommended a root canal TONIGHT on all 6 of her front teeth just to start, and then a cap on all of them as well. After that wed have to come back to do the rest. He never talked to her the entire time, just to me. And when I finally told him we were just there to get the one tooth fixed, he avoided answering the questions of what could be done, and how it could be done, and kept insisting on a root canal and cap for that one tooth. FOR ONE CHIPPED TOOTH. Then he asked her how old she was(23) and proceeded to tell me that, "He sees this is children all the time. They sip soda all day and blah, blah, blah...". She was so insulted and angry by his blatant disregard and disrespect for her that she was speechless. Finally he left the room and said he would send in the tech with how much a root canal would cost tonight. So we grabbed our coats and left. The guy used scare tactics to try and get a nervous girl to spend tons of money on something she didnt actually need. Ill stop short of calling him a con-artist. Needless to say, I CAN NOT recommend that you use this establishment for your dental needs. Try iSmile in Plano instead.

Thank you to the dentist and staff here at Emergency Dental Care in Farmers Branch! The crown (cap) on my back bottom molar was "quick-y" last week, but I didnt realize it was rocking loose. Then I bit into a DingDong and swatch, it came up. That was on the eve of Christmas Eve! In the morning of the 24th I tried to contact every dental clinic I know of, and even calling the emergency pagers got nothing. I despaired until I Googled up this clinic. Not only did a smart lady answer the phone, she told me I could come in at 4 PM to get this thing re-glued! I got in right on time and the dentist was very professional. He did mention that he thought the tooth needed (ahem) a root canal, ideally, but I was scheduled in closely and there wasnt time, so (YAY!) Ill just get my regular dentist to look at it next year. (Maybe!! LOL!!) They cemented the crown back in perfectly and told me only Jell-0 and pie until the next morning. Today I ate a bit of soft bread and pasta salad and even a bite of meat (on the other side!) and everythings Archie! Thank you for being there on a holiday and rescuing me from suffering until at least the 27th (as most places are still closed through the 28th or later!) Recommended wholeheartedly. Wish I had gotten anyones name, but *duh* I was a mess and its lucky I remembered MY name in the rush towards Christmas! Hope your experience is just as good!

This past Thanksgiving morning I awoke with truly unbearable pain in one of my upper rear molars. I had never experience pain anything like that in my life. My regular dentist did not respond to my emergency messages, but Dr. Vladimir Melnikov and his staff, Rita and Jessica at Emergency Dental Care in Dallas, got me into the office and graciously stayed late on Thanksgiving afternoon performing an emergency procedure. Dr. Melnikov patiently took the time to identify the cause of the problem and made sure I understood my options. His technique was efficient, relaxed and professional. The procedure was completely painless and very relaxed. I went from being in pure agony to feeling perfectly back to normal. Dr. Melnikov has excellent intuition and judgement and performed the procedure with the utmost skill and expertise. He was completely honest and friendly. What a great dentist and what a great team! I was so fortunate to find this first-class clinic on a major holiday staffed with 3 total professionals who were so completely there for me. Jessica, Rita and Dr. Melnikov were each fantastic and operated perfectly as a team. Thank you!!!
