This place is a scam! She did the same thing to me and my husband when we went a few months ago. We went for a simple cleaning. After two hours of x-rays, gum exams, bacteria checks, she said that we both had advanced gingivitis, we each had 4+ cavities and that she wouldnt do our cleanings until we went thought her $6k gums treatment. We were both frightened and got second opinions from two separate dentists. Neither of us had cavities or any signs of gingivitis. Before we came in for our appointments, the receptionist assured us that she verified with our insurance company that the services were covered under our plan... they were not. When I got the bill I was furious so I called back to talk with her. They informed me that she had been terminated and that they werent responsible for anything she did. They were adamant that I had no choice but to pay the bill (including the cleaning that I never got). After fighting for an hour, I told the receptionist to forget it and that I was going to file a complaint instead. I got a quick call back saying that theyve removed all the charges from my account. Total scam. I recommend reading her reviews on Yelp. THEY GET MUCH WORSE.

I went to the Addison Dentist back in October 08 for a routine cleaning. We just moved to the area, and I made an appointment with them because I liked their promotion advertised. (Free whitening kit with first visit) This routine cleaning lasted over 2 hours but it took less than 30 minutes for me to get my teeth cleaned. The rest of the time was a sales pitch. They took a lot of xrays, used a "bacteria count" device to detect cavities, checked gums...etc. According to them, I had 4 cavities, and needed gum treatments, and all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I was very upset after leaving because I have always been told that my wisdom teeth are fine: they dont hurt and they grew in perfectly and with plenty of room. I did not get the cavities filled either because I was very unsatified with everything they were trying to get me to pay for. Also, I never got the whitening kit!!! Recently, I went to a different dentist in plano. I only have one cavity that needs to be filled, my gums are healthy, and my wisdom teeth are healthy, too. The Addison Dentist tries to convince you that your oral health is much worse than it really is. Dont fall for it; get a second opinion!

This was my first time visiting The Addison Dentist and I can say that it was an amazing experience! I hadnt been to a dentist in about 4yrs since I have really bad TMJ and past dentists/their staff didnt really care to help put TMJ patients at ease. Well, this was a completely different type of experience - Yolanda (who cleaned my teeth/examined overall mouth health) was so nice, patient, and understanding of my TMJ issues. At one point my jaw got so tired of being open for an hour during the cleaning and when I told Yolanda it was tired and I couldnt keep it open any longer, she immediately dropped everything and went behind me to give my jaw a massage!! Who does this at a dentist office?! AMAZING. Dr. Ramirez was also very knowledgeable and knows how to relate to patients when explaining any issues you may have and just knows how to put you at ease. Just a great experience overall - thank you, ladies! :)

I am giving the Addison Dentist employees (the admin and assistants) 5/5 stars, but had to take away 2 because of the actual dentists running this scam. I have been in three times for a teeth cleaning and root canal. I will not get into a long story, but here is the important part that patients should know: -They contract other dentists to do their work, so you will be charged for their fees and the other dentists fees. The only actual work these ladies do is teeth and gum cleanings -Speaking of teeth and gums, they will tell you that you have gum disease and bacteria in an effort to push products -Like so many female doctors/dentists/professionals, they only work housewives hours -YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR COSTS THEY DO NOT STATE UPFRONT!!! Buyer Beware!

With the option to choose any dentist today, I choose the Addison Dentist. Cost is not important to me, so I choose this dentistry because of the atmosphere. The dentist, hygienists, and the front desk are all very friendly and take the time to know me and my household. I feel very comfortable when I go. I am also made to feel comfortable. I have been going for over 3 years.When I find a dentistry this caring, I tend to stay. The work is very good. I have had partials, tooth removal, root canal, cleaning, modern testing, and gum treatment. Its rare to find good dentistry and good customer care. Thank you Addison Dentist

I love this place!! They are nice and dont keep you waiting. I also liked the fact that they didnt poke me with needles to do my teeth cleaning instead used a spray to numb the area. Dr.Williams is no longer there but the new dentist seems very nice and he basically said the same thing Dr.Williams said about my wisdom teeth. I dont think they are a scam or money hungry bc I have gone to other places much more expensive and that said I needed more done than what I really needed. Great Job Addison Dentist Staff :)

I love this dentist office just about as much as any normal human being can love the dentist. Dr. Contrucci and her staff are not only professional, but they are the most friendly and warm office staff Ive ever experienced. They not only do great dental work, but they remember you as a person which truly goes above and beyond their job description. I would recommend The Addison Dentist to anyone looking for a new dentist who performs fantastic dental work with a smile (pun definitely intended).

I was amazed by my visit. The staff is awesome, and they know how to take care of their customers. I cold called on a Monday, and they were able to fit me in on that Wednesday. Two days later. I told them I was on a serious time crunch due to a last second meeting, and they were able to have me in and out 20 minutes before my time slot even ended. They take very good care of you, and are not overwhelming at all. As long as I live in the area, I will always go to the Addison Dentist.

Dr. Williams and The Addison Dentist team are the best! I have been to a lot of dentists over the years, and I have yet to meet a dentist that is as caring and a team that makes the entire experience so enjoyable. Dr. Williams cares about the whole person, not just the teeth, explains everything thoroughly and left it up to me to make the final decision. No pressure, no hype. ust good folks working to take care of people. They are the best.

Disaster of an experience. Dentist could not get my mouth numb for a tooth filling. After about 10 shots, yes seriously, and three hours including laughing gas, she ended up asking me to just "tough it out" for 60 seconds procedure to do a filling. The filling fell out 1 month later. Ive never had this kind of trouble in my life with any other dentist. Needless to say Ill not come back to this place.
