My almost 4 year old son just had dental surgery as it couldnt be avoided. When he was just 15 months we were told he had Baby Bottle Syndrome. He was an exclusively breastfed baby plus only whole foods. The pediatric dentist in Fergus Falls said we needed to schedule surgery immediately to cap and remove teeth or he would lose all his teeth painfully. I could hardly believe what I was told I would have to put my son through. I went to Dakota Pediatric to get a second opinion. They were the only pediatric dentist in MN/ND/SD who would see him and accept MN state insurance (I kept calling everywhere to get him in ASAP). For over 2 years we have gone to Dakota Pediatric who managed to treat and guide us through preserving my sons smile. He had one molar that led us to surgery before he would be mature enough to have it fixed in office to preserve his tooth and prevent an abscess. I cannot say enough about Dr. Mikaela Hoge and her tender caring dental assistants. I am so thankful to have them so close in Grand Forks but honestly would drive hours for the care they have provided my son.

My daughter always looks forward to going to Dakota Pediatric Dentistry in Grand Forks. The staff is very friendly and makes the experience fun. I really appreciate how the staff interacts with the children in such a soothing way. My daughter had to have some extensive work done and they made us both feel at ease through the whole process. The office manager, Amanda Bina is extremely helpful and friendly when it comes to questions about billing and processing paperwork. She also gets back to your emails right away. I would highly recommend Dakota Pediatric Dentistry to anyone looking for the best overall dental care for their children!!

From the friendly staff at the front desk to the wonderful care by the nurses and Dr.s. My children are totally comfortable there, as am I. It couldnt be better. Dr. Chad and Dr. Mikala have been top notch with both of my grandchildren-very compassionate. I appreciate all of the excellent care they have provided for them. Their front office staff is also nice to work with when we have insurance questions-which weve had plenty of. Through a series of events, our grands have been seen in both locations, and I must say employees in both have been exceptional. Keep up the good work doctors!

Dakota pediatric is amazing. The dentists are Fantastic with kids (my daughter loves them). The office staff are amazing. They are caring, helpful and very friendly! They are very knowledgeable about insurance. They also have cute monthly drawings for the kids. They do have strict office policies, but Ive never had an issue. (Just show up to the appointments you make...pretty simple...youd think) :-)

My son had an amazing experience with dakota Peds dental today and I was extremely happy with the professional appearance of not only the building and amenities but the staff! They were so personable and made my nervous son feel so at ease. They answered all our questions and my 5 year old cannot wait for his next visit! I will definitely recommend to anyone this office! Both my girls LOVE going to Dakota Pediatric Dentistry – and I love taking them there! The entire staff truly caters to the child by making them feel comfortable regardless of the procedure and thoroughly explain everything to me (which I really appreciate!).
