My first experience here at "Royal" Dental? Its both a "Royal" pain in the rear as well as a "Royal" waste of my time. I lost a total of about 5 hours that I will never get back here in grueling experience that made me want to pull out my hair. Firstly, the receptionist have absolutely no clue the difference between a PPO and an HMO is. They can find my name on a list that my dental coverage provider has sent them, and I called my provider twice and both CSRs told me they are for sure the office has my name and I do not need to show them a card (of which I lost). Then after that cleared up they proceeded VERY QUICKLY to go take your ex-rays because then they could trap you and charge your insurance a ridiculous amount of money for. Afterwards they tell you that there are no openings until a month later. Really? If you told me that before the ex-rays I would have walked out of the office and went somewhere else. After arguing that I already took time off to come here and I can do anything later because my teeth need to be worked now. They said OK comeback in 3 hours we have an opening. OK, I go out and return after three hours, wait in the lobby for another hour, then they proceeded to tell me, "oh sorry, we thought we would have an opening and now we dont." I didnt know whether I should laugh, cry, or flip a table at that point. I wasted FIVE hours, half a day, in this poorly managed franchise dental office and got a few exrays - useless for me money for them. Potential clients beware! You will only end up with a migraine that overshadows the pain you are feeling from your tooth coming here.

This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a dentist. I scheduled an appointment by Email to get a routine biannual teeth cleaning. When I showed up for my appointment (5-10 minutes early), I had to wait 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time before being seen by the dental hygienist. I was then told that instead of cleaning my teeth (the whole reason I came), they would be doing x-rays and an inspection of my teeth to determine how much cleaning my teeth needed. I told them that was ridiculous. I had just had the x-rays done 6 months ago, so there was no reason to even do that again. When I asked why I wasnt informed of their procedures prior to my appointment, the business manager told me thats their standard procedure and it was in the Email he sent to me confirming my appointment. They told me that since I had to wait for so long, and my teeth only required minor cleaning, they would squeeze me into a cleaning. While I was in the waiting room, I checked my Email on my phone to see if I missed a note about the preliminary exam requirement. I had not; it was never mentioned. After waiting another 30 minutes, I got my teeth cleaned. I will NOT be going back and highly discourage anyone else from going here, either.

Thieves, they are liars and thieves. My girlfriend got braces and they told her that the plan was gonna be $3000 out of pocket after insurance. She was suspicious that they kept charging her even after she finished her payments but of course they have records and should know how much someone owes and if they care about their patients they would surely inform them that they do not owe any more payments. She was continuously getting calls that she owed money. Every time, she would arrive there 30mins before the appointed time, they would always take an hour just to attend her. She would arrive, sign in, and be called up to the counter to make a payment. She finally received her statements from the lady that deals with the financial records after attempting to talk to her over the phone or in person she would always get the same message that she wasnt in that day or that she just missed the lady. There was always an excuse. The statements show that she owes negative $-690.36. If wish I was able to attach pictures on to this post. Do not go here if you have any other option. My girlfriend has Blue Cross Blue Shield and this is the only place nearby where she is covered. Stay away from this place youve been warned.

This place is the worst, seriously. I had an appointment to have my wisdom tooth removed, which the tooth hurt like all hell. I was called the DAY (not even 24 hours) before the actual tooth extraction was to be removed to say that they had rescheduled my appointment (UM hello? Can you let me know about this too?). Not too mention they did not know when the surgeon would be back to actually perform the surgery. Wow. So am I supposed to walk around with a hurting tooth until who knows when? Better yet, how about call me before I take a whole week off of work. Unprofessional and unorganized. I should have read the reviews before I went. And most of the positive reviews are from staff. There was someone else in the office upset because of this offices lack of professionalism. I will tell every one I know NOT to go to this place. I will write reviews everywhere I can to let people know of this place. BEWARE. Not to mention I called the Dr. LAST week to alert them that the antibiotics were not working. Still waiting for that return call....

Staff is disorganized and rude. First visit was there waiting for hours for evaluation. Gave benefit of doubt. Came back later same day to have cleaning waiting 45 from when appointment was scheduled from what I suspect dentist having extended lunch. Came back two weeks later for more work was first appointment at 8am . Receptionist immediately asked me to pay for procedure I had done and paid for last time due to dental assistant not noting chart was taken back to chair 20 minutes later. Dentist talks to me a few minutes walk away and another office person come to collect my payment while Im in dentist chair I would let her take my card out of my sight and by now angered that it was implied I would not pay. I walked out not over the 35.00 .I walked out due to the unprofessional demeanor and the fact I was in dental chair and payment was demanded.Went home immediately called insurance make sure this dental group doesnt bill insurance for any thing and change dentist on my plan.

I was a patient at Royal Dental for 7 years. The first few years were okay, but most recently from 2015-2017, their service has become very bad. The waiting times are still decent, about 30 minutes, however, once you are called in, you must wait inside the procedure rooms for an extra 45 minutes. On my most recent visit, the wait was about 3 hours after I alerted them more than 4 times. After my 3 hour wait, the entire check up only consisted of 15 minutes. The front office is kind, but they are not kind when you are paying for treatments, and they continuously attempt you to subscribe to CareCredit even when you do not need it. They have an agreement with credit companies to offer it to as many people as possible, and the interest rates are high. Overall, the service is very bad, the waits are long after you get out of the waiting room, and their business practices raise some eyebrows. I will not be returning after my 7 year tenure.
