With having several Boston Terriers over the years we have dealt with our share of serious canine eye issues. When our 10 yr old female Boston started having issues last year we visited the team at VOC. I am so glad we did! I had heard wonderful feedback about VOC from the volunteers at Pug Rescue of Florida and our experiences with Dr. Fife and the staff have been very positive. Dr. Fife diagnosed my dogs situation and told us how her eye disease would most likely progress in the future. A few months ago her eye took a quick and serious turn, we were able to get an appointment quickly and they did the necessary surgery on her the same day. Everything was explained clearly so we could make decisions that worked for us. Throughout the treatment and follow-up visits the doctor and staff have always been kind, responsive, and very professional. We have even had to call twice in the evenings, after hours, and Dr. Fife personally answered our calls and took time to help us. I also like that their systems are very efficient and all of the receipts and records are sent to me via email for my records. With our dogs current condition we will be visiting VOC for follow-up and most likely additional treatment for her other eye, so we are pleased to know our dog will be well taken care of. We highly recommend the team at VOC!

We breed French bulldog puppies and as they were playing one day... one of our pups scratched the others eye. We took her to our local vet, they gave her some eyedrops and she was fine, no permanent eye damage, until the next day....given that the bulldog breeds are already predisposed to "cherry eye"... she woke up with cherry eye. We were referred to VOC and have been very satisfied with thier entire staff and service. They got us in immediately for a consultation and scheduled surgery for the next morning. They also planned to check her other eye to see if it could happen (I guess there is a 50% chance it can happen in the other eye too.) And possibly fix it at the same time, if needed. They called a few hours later and when I picked her up, she was good as new and they didnt need to do anything with the other eye. I appreciated their honesty and compassion for our baby girl. Highly recommended and cost efficient. Given previous bad experiences with different types of surgeons in the past.... this experience was very refreshing and how service is supposed to be! Thanks to all at VOC.

GG & I were very nerviness going to an eye doctor for animals. When we walked in, there was a very friendly receptions wearing a blue smock with a clipboard and asked who was seeing the doctor and I said GG! After filling out the paper work,(it was a long drive from St. Cloud), we waited 5 mins. Then GG was weighted and taken to a room by a blond technician with a purple smock on. She was very friendly and made me and GG at ease. We waited 2 mins for Dr. Fife to come. He introduce him self from me and the tech cradled GG in her arms to the table. Dr. Fife liked the name Gator Girl and kinda introduced himself to GG. He checked her eyes and took pictures. She was not shaking anymore. The tech left the room, and he said I have some good news for you. It is not cataracts, but cholesterol deposits in her eyes, you (me) will have to keep and eye on her eyes and tell me if anything changes. I was so happy I texted my husband with the good news. I would recommend Dr. Fife and his staff for anyone. They were even pleasant at the check out. Thank you for a great experience.... Ruth

I can say nothing but good things about Dr. Fife and his staff. We just finished the two week check up after the surgery and everything has gone smoothly. I was amazed how fast the entire process was. Appointments are easy to make and you dont need to wait weeks at a time to see Dr. Fife. The staff is very helpful and answer any questions you need. They are very patient, understanding and genuinely care. The surgery went well and the next day we went in for the follow up appointment. I knew I had chosen the right place when I saw my dogs reaction to seeing Dr. Fife again. She wagged her tail and went right up to him. She has always been hesitant of new people and has been particularly wary of the men in white coats! It made me happy to know that they took good care of her while she was in their care. I would highly recommend anyone that is looking for a Vet that specializes in Ophthalmology to look no farther than Dr. Fife and his staff. Our family is very happy that our dog is able to see and get around again. Thanks Dr. Fife and your great staff.

Our Chihuahua Moose had advanced cataracts and they were effecting his quality of life. He seemed depressed and barely played with our other two Chihuahuas. We are so blessed to have found Veterinary Ophthalmology Center in Orlando!!! Dr. Fife and his staff: Judy, Alex and Alana are the epitome of animal eye care specialists!!! Dr. Fife performed Phacoemulsification surgery on both of his eyes on 3/14/17. Moose is now the dog he once was before developing cataracts!!! Were overjoyed that he can finally see again! He gets excited to see Dr. Fife and his awesome staff of professionals! Wait time is always less than 5 minutes, and the atmosphere they create with kindness is unmatched!!! I highly recommend Veterinary Ophthalmology Center. Thank you Dr. Fife, Judy, Alex & Alana!!! You all are the best! Thank you for taking such awesome care of Moose, and us!!!

We took our 11 year old dog to VOC yesterday to get two growths checked on his eye lids. The entire staff was very professional and had a great bedside manner with our dog. Dr. Fife did a comprehensive exam and quickly gave a written estimate for laser removal of the growths. They were able to immediately perform the procedure while we waited in the room. The outcome was incredible. The growths were completely removed with only two very small marks left under the eye lid. Trauma to the site was almost none. The level of customer service and technical expertise was higher than I could have anticipated. I will be returning to VOC with any future medical needs that fall under their expertise. Thank you Dr. Fife and staff.

I was able to make a same day appointment for my cat Violet when I called concerned about her eye. The staff and the doctor were very kind and welcoming. The doctor explained everything to me and seemed very knowledgeable. I went there feeling uneasy and nervous, but left knowing my cat received great care. Luckily, her issue was nothing too severe (dont Google symptoms, youll worry yourself for no reason). I will bring her back in 6 months for a follow up. They were able to get her records from her vet before I arrived and they sent her vet the results and tests from today. I didnt have to do anything. This office is quite far from my house, but I will gladly make the trip whenever I need to. I highly recommend this office.
