LET ME START BY SAYING BEST MOVE FOR MY DOG AND FAMILY WAS DROPPING BULGER AS OUR CAREGIVER WE ARE NOE NOT ONLY SAVING MONEY, BIT ARE ALSO RESPECT AS CLIENTS This place has the highest prices and the worst scheduling. You are not a value client, but rather a number to them and dollar signs. If you love you animals and are looking for a Veterinary hospital that does too....THEN STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE. Unless of course you want to pay top dollar for sub par service and attention from an incompetent front office and administration. They never ever took us on time for appointments, even after we made it very clear that was crucial to us. We understand a 10/15 minute wait for the doctor to see us , and we also understand things dont always go according to schedule. But I once Waited an hour and fifteen minutes to be seen, and 45 minutes before the reception desk even acknowledged us. (yes that is correct 1.5 hours from my scheduled appointment to finally be seen). After this incident I provided them with my cell # (which they already had) and requested a call if they would not be able to see me at my scheduled time due to unforeseen circumstances. Still I came in again and had to wait extended periods of time. Rest assured though they acknowledge you immediately for payment All in all doctors and Techs are mostly nice caring people, however the administration is severely disorganized, out of touch, and money hungry. SAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, PLENTY OF OTHER OPTIONS THAT ACTUALLY CARE AND RESPECT THEIR CLINTS, AND THEIR CLIENTS TIME.

This face says it all. Dr. Blazer performed several surgeries on Chief Brody including elbow dysplasia (at 10 months old) and a double cranial cruciate ligament (at 18 months old). Its been a year since the last surgery (double CCL) and he continues to be 100% back to a normal (and super energetic) puppy that plays hard. They took such great care of him during these surgeries with several check-ins to monitor progress. We also did laser therapy as well as (offsite) water therapy as Dr Blazer suggested and it made the healing process so fast and smooth. We are very grateful to the attention by everyone on the staff, Dr Blazer, the techs, the front desk folks and so on. They really made us feel a part of the family, and most importantly, all treated Chief Brody like he was their own dog. This place is top notch, and recommend it without reservation, no matter how far you need to travel to get there.

This week my 8 month old puppy had to be taken to the hospital due to crazy diarrhea that also caused an infection in her skin. Without testing her stool or running ANY tests, they prescribed her two different antibiotics, a broad spectrum de-wormer, and a spray for her skin infection. I made sure to follow any and all instructions and here we are just about 4.5 days later and my puppy has to be rushed to the vet due to serious lethargy and dehydration and still, bad diahrea.. My normal veterinarian told me to stop the medications immediately as what they prescribed was causing her to become worse instead of better. My vet immediately sent a stool sample as the MAIN concern IS what is causing the diarrhea. Im still waiting one week in to find out what my poor baby is sick from. If it comes back as something severely dangerous this hospital will have a lawsuit on their hands!! DO NOT GO HERE!

When a house fire destroyed my mothers house, I was shocked to find that her two cats, Marley & Ollie, had survived. I immediately rushed them to the Emergency Hospital at Bulger, on a Sunday at 2 pm. The staff there was incredibly warm, friendly, caring, nurturing, empathetic, I cannot say enough about them. In a time of vulnerability and need, the Bulger family welcomed me with open arms, greatly surpassing any veterinary staff I had encountered in the past. Adhering to their policy regarding pets and house fires, they did not charge me for the treatment my mothers cats received. They even neutered Ollie, free of charge. If I lived in the area, I would bring my pets here in a heartbeat. It is a rarity to encounter people who care as much as the Bulger staff does, and I encourage anyone in the area to treat themselves to the same level of care as I received.

I was terrified after my Maltese had a choking spell that lasted over 5 minutes. He eventually calmed down and apparently a collapsing trachea will resolve itself if the animal can remain calm. Preston was doing well but because I was so scared of it happening again I went in for an emergency visit. Dr Lang was amazing and understanding and gave us some tips if it happens again. I cant tell you how relieved I was. The vet tech Jose and the front desk staff were wonderful and I can tell you for a fact these people are not in it for the money. If they made a quote on a surgery that was high, it may be that the surgery was more complicated than just a broken leg. Personally I would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend the emergency services.

After recently moving to the North Andover area, I had a pet emergency and wasnt sure which vet to choose. Bulger has amazing hours and the receptionists are so accommodating to your needs. A vet was able to see me same day at 7pm! Since then, I have ben seeing Dr. Libby Holman regularly to treat the minor medical issues I have with my 17 year old cats. She is AMAZING! She listens to my concerns and always provides me with multiple options to treat, including costs associated with each. In 17 years with these animals, I have seen numerous veterinarians. I can say confidently that Dr. Holman has provided me with the best service and treatment for my animals and I am so lucky to have found this center. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! - Ashley, Pansy & Petunia

We brought in our pet guinea pig (Brownie) to this hospital when she was sick. They told us that she either had UTI or a tumor. Without much information, they gave her an antibiotic injection. After that, our guinea pig never acted the same. She had a lack of energy, and was completely different. Later, we brought her to the Angell Animal Hospital. They put her in the ICU and realized she had a specific UTI, and that the antibiotics that the Bulgers Vet Hospital wasnt helping at all, so they gave her a new and more effective one. But still, she didnt survive. If anybody has a sick or injured pet, I would recommend the Angell Animal Hospital because they know much more on how to treat and take care of an animal.

Most unprofessional practice around!! To make a long story short my chi broke his leg after 4 calls a night stay they kept upping the price for surgery and the stay 4 times up over 4500 dollars after an estimate of 2500 to 3000. Then they said they would do the operation the day after admission they all and said it has to be the next day so we have to pay another 400 for the night OMG! My vet called to see what was going on and I told her so she called southern nh vet hospital in Manchester they said 2400 complete and that is the price which was correct and only 100 for the 24hr monitoring big scam being run at buldgers going to report to the american vet board!! Beware of this place
