BEWARE of Shawsheen Animal Hospital. I have never seen an animal hospital ready to charge you for unneeded service and money hungry like Shawsheen. In October 2010 I brought my puppy to Shawsheen Animal Hospital. I had a coupon for a free physical exam, so I thought. Dr Leblanc saw my puppy and gave a full physical exam. He stated the puppy was in excellent condition and that I was required to bring him back for booster shorts in less that a month. I took the puppy back to Dr Lablanc in November 2010, less than a month, as instructed. Shawsheen Animal Hospital charged me with another physical exam after the puppy just had a physical exam less than one month ago and was in excellent condition. Then Dr. Leblanc then stated, while I was there, that the puppy was to come back in two weeks for another wellness check. This is ridiculous! Also, I tried to discuss this in a diplomatic manor with Debbie, the office manager. After talking with her for about four minutes I knew that I wasn’t getting anywhere. So, I told her that I was going to write an unfavorable review if I couldn’t get an explanation of these charges. She stated to me “Be my guest” in a very rude manner. Please if you value your money do not go to Shawsheen Animal Hospital!

They dont care about your pets they only care about your wallet. Please dont take your pet here!! Seriously, if you value your animals comfort and well-being beware of this vet. My family and I were taking my cat Marco here for a few years and they were constantly telling us he was unhealthy and that he needed all of these expensive surgeries and dental corrective services even though he showed no symptoms and no signs of irritation. We took him to another vet for a second opinion after they wrongly prescribed Marco a medication for two weeks that (after doing some research) we found if taken for more than 7 days can be lethal to felines. When confronted about this they were extremely rude and essentially told us it was our problem. Our new vet has said Marco is in perfect health and that going through with any of the dental work they were constantly pressuring us and guilting us to get him would have been extremely painful for Marco and would have decreased his quality of life. They dont care about your pets they only care about your wallet.

shawsheen animal hospital is the place to go for top-notch service. Drs. Caruso and LeBlanc are the most compassionate vets around. They treat my animals with love and tenderness. The staff is just as wonderful. The techs are gentle and kind. Anyone who answers the phone is helpful and will get the answers for you if they don't know the answers. They keep up-to-date on everything there so that you get results. We love Shawsheen! -Kat and Ted

Ive been bringing my 8 year old lab mix dog here for 4 years. Every time we bring him for a check up the staff is always friendly. My dog hates the vets and they are able to make relax and calm down in minutes.
