Id give Dr. Wiseman and his wonderful staff 10 stars if I could! I moved to Orlando in 1997 with my 1 year old puppy Mac. Any time I had an issue or concern, Oviedo Animal Hospital got him right in to be seen as soon as possible. And I always found the prices for services and medicines, etc. to be extremely reasonable. I also greatly appreciated the small town feel of the office. I remember calling and saying my name, then hearing Nancy or Betty say Oh Mac! He is the sweetest, cutest thing! How is he?! They really loved him too. And Dr. Wiseman always took his time, listened to what I had to say, treated Mac with the utmost care and respect, and explained everything to me in detail whenever there was an issue. When I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2006, I still brought Mac to Dr. Wiseman when I visited my family. And one of the best things about moving back to Orlando in 2010 was knowing that my little boy would be in the best of hands as he aged. On May 8, 2013, I brought my almost 17 year old Mac in for the last time. I knew it, Mac knew it, and so did Dr. Wiseman. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my 38 years because I loved Mac very similarly to the way I love my own 4 year old daughter. He was not a pet - he was truly my first baby. Dr. Wiseman allowed me to hold him in my lap in the examination room while he very sensitively administered the drugs that would allow Mac to pass as peacefully as possible. And when I left the room and my sweet boy, Nancy was right there. She took care of everything as quickly as possible for me, and she had tears in her eyes too. I know how much Mac was loved and cared for always by the wonderful folks at Oviedo Animal Hospital. I hope that my heart will allow me to adopt another dog some day, and when that happens, I will know exactly where to take him or her for any medical care needs. I would like to thank them all so much for taking such amazing care of Mac. I know his healthy longevity is a result of the wonderful care he received there for most of his life.

really upset with this place. They charged me for services before asking if I wanted them- ive never had a vet clinic do this ever. They just wanted to charge more and more it seems. They did things to my pet in the back without my permission or knowledge- thats just not right. Everyone conveniently had different stories on what happened. They did some unnecessary things which made no sense. They talk a lot and in circles- because they think people are unintelligent and wont notice what theyre doing. When I questioned them the vet tech got rude loud and confrontational. Any question you have about anything- the vet tech becomes rude and angry and gives you a terrible attitude about it. Then they hounded me about my ID for carecredit acting as if they needed to verify I was who I said I was. Excuse me? Ive been to many clinics and no one did this or acted this way. The lady was asking me for my drivers license number. Seriously? It was so rude and insulting. Even banfield doesnt do this to people. They treat clients not good. With all the good reviews I was thinking good things- what I experienced was really bad treatment.

This place is chaotic and unorganized which is aggravating when you have a dog misbehaving and it takes 10 minutes to check out/pay. I had just rescued a possibly abused dog and expressed concern with how she had been acting and some symptoms shed been having, they had made me feel as if I was stupid for asking such ridiculous things. They also did a poor exam of her after expressing some concern about her eating habits. I left annoyed and belittled and checked her myself and I found 2 broken/rotted teeth myself (not bad for not going to vet school huh?) afterwards and went to another vet who treated me much better who gave me options to resolve it and didnt make me feel dumb.

Dr. Wiseman and his staff are the best. When we go away for cruises we will board our old black lab dog and I swear they are doing something right because he is always so excited and becomes a puppy when we take him there. He runs into the place as if he is a celebrity and everyone knows and greets him by name. It probably helps that he knows exactly where they keep the treats! Whenever he has health issues they always treat him and make sure we r well educated and prepared before we leave. And they always call and check in on him after too. They have a great practice and I recommend all to him!

The best vet in town hands down. Very warm and welcoming staff and super accommodating. Dr. Hobbs is a very genuine person who not only cares about the wellness of all animals, but also takes the time to ask you how your day is and connect with you on a personal level. I took my three dogs in at the same time for the influenza shot as well as other vaccines and concerns and Dr. Hobbs rocked. Their prices are unbeatable and their clinic is very clean. I drive 30 minutes to get to them but I wouldnt choose another vet for my animals.

I had my dog spayed out of town, and we returned to Orlando before she had her stitches removed. Most veterinary clinics in town were wanting to charge me upwards of $60, and most acted like my request was a hassle. OAH brought her in with no hassle. We were in and out in 10 minutes, OAH gave a much better price, and treated me like a long time valued customer. Their staff was friendly, welcoming, and sweet to my dog. It was my first visit, but I will continue to come to OAH for any veterinary needs I have in the future.

My cat had a hematoma on his ear. My regular vet was not available so Called Oviedo Vet. They got me in very quickly. First impression, receptionists friendly, efficient, and professional. The vet tech was a real sweetheart who obviously likes her job. Very efficient and empathetic. Finally, Dr. Wiseman. A quick, painless aspiration of my little mans ear. Only time he meowed was when the actual painless part was happening (laser treatment). I was in and out in about 20 minutes. KUDOS to you all!

Had to take one of our two dachshunds to Oviedo Animal Hospital on a rainy Friday afternoon for an infection in the eye. Yes, transparently, weve been taking our dogs here for 20 years. On this visit DArtagnan saw Dr. Kimberly Hobbs, who has joined Dr. Wiseman in the past two years. Dr. Hobbs is excellent with our dogs. . .in fact we feel that DArtagnan has a crush on her. It is such a blessing and a relief to get wonderful, consistent, supersonic care for our pets. We highly recommend this Vet.

I have been taking my dogs and cats to Oviedo Animal Hospital for over 25 years. The staff there is first rate and caring. Dr. Steve Wiseman truly loves his patients and he an outstanding doctor. He has always been able to diagnose with percision and he has kept my animals healthy and happy. If you love your animals you can be sure they will be well cared for at Oviedo Animal Hospital. They also have affordable kennel care when I have had to board my pets.
