When I looked on line for the name of a nearby dentist that has a bear sitting in one of their dental chairs that you can see from the nearby street. I thought I had the right location, and when I ask if they had the "bear in the chair" they said yes. I made an appointment to have some emergency dental work done. When I arrived at the office, I realized I had booked an appointment at the wrong dental office. Being one to keep my commitments, I kept the appointment and after a terribly traumatic experience that had to be referred to an oral surgeon, I was determined to get the correct dentist for future appointments. I have been to a few dentists, and one cant help comparing the care from one dentist to another. With Gateway Family Dentistry the quality of care, professionalism, and genuineness from the receptionists, hygienist, assistant, and billing. What I discovered that was so unique about this office is that all of this care, genuineness, professionalism, kindness, and gentleness radiates throughout the office from the dentist, himself, Dr. Gailey. My past dental experiences pale by comparison. My concerns were listened to, a plan for comfort and care was put in place and has been followed through with a level of professionalism that is beyond compare. I really appreciate and am so relieved to have found Gateway Family Dentistry, I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Gailey and Gateway Family Dentistry to my family, friends, and acquaintances. And as for that very large bear that sits in the chair...... after hours it dances around on its toes, moving things around, keeping everyone else on their toes, too.

Finding a dentist is like filing your taxes, nobody ever wants to do it but you know you have to; worse is the fact that rarely anybody takes the time to give a thumbs up when they find a good one. When facing a list of dentists from insurance, picking the right one can be daunting but it helps to know which ones are doing things well. I transferred to Gateway family Dentistry more out of need than anything else; the fact that their office was a stones throw away from where I lived also helped matters. That being said, I do NOT recommend selecting your dentist on mere proximity. In this case, however, I happened to get incredibly lucky. Its been just over two years now since my first visit and truly the experience has been nothing short of fantastic. Dr. Gailey is friendly, knowledgable, approachable and welcoming. Their staff is genuinely helpful and detail oriented. The facility is clean, organized and eerily effective;to this day I have always been able to get in on my appointed time and never been kept waiting. It is great to find that there are dentists that treat their clients more as family than a number on a database. This goes for their entire staff. Ive only had one hygienist there, but I am sure all of them are equally wonderful. Even when switching insurances they have made it seamlessly easy to deal with the changes and they work with you in a manner that is a great contrast from some of my past experiences where it seems they are simply trying to get your co-pay and run you back out the door. If you are in the process of finding a dentist, I highly recommend Gateway Family Dentistry.

I have some family members who see Dr. Gailey, and they recommended him to me when I moved to the area. I saw a hygienist the first time I went, since it was for an exam and a cleaning. She did an excellent job, and I was very comfortable. I liked that she explained what she was doing while she was working so that I knew what was going on. When I saw the dentist afterward, he recommended that I get a filling replaced. I was able to get in for an appointment the same week and had a great experience with the dentist as well. He was very thorough. After completing work on the filling, he checked it by flossing and found that it wasnt done as well as he had wanted it to be done, and said it would have the same problem it already had. He immediately went back in and re-did the part that he wanted to be better, and when he checked it again, I could definitely tell the difference, and he was more satisfied with it as well. It doesnt seem difficult to get an appointment within a week of when you want to be seen, which is important to me. The office has a nice atmosphere, and everyone I met was friendly and helpful. It was honestly one of the best experiences Ive had at a dentists office, and lets face it: no one really likes going to the dentist. Ill definitely be going back, though, because I felt comfortable with everything, and especially the people who worked on my teeth.

I have been going to Dr. Gailey at Gateway Family Dentistry since 2007. Initially,I went because of a flier that was distributed offering an incentive, plus it was located near my home and convenient. However, I have continued because of the superior care and concern with which I have always been treated. Other family members have regularly gone to Gateway as well including my 92-year-old mother who says Dr. Gailey is the best dentist she has ever had! I agree! An added bonus is the warm, friendly and professional staff whom I look forward to seeing and catching up with whenever I visit. I even made a special trip to stop by and show them my new puppy, if that gives you an indication to the atmosphere at this office! Not to be over-looked is Valerie, my hygenist who is top-notch, personable and also has a gentle touch. A shout-out as well to long-term employee, Tammy who has set the tone for this office with her out-going personality, winning smile , along with her adept management of all our accounts and insurance questions. I unreservedly give them a 5-star rating and would give them a 10 if it were possible.

I cant say how much I enjoyed my experience with the staff at Gateway Family Dentistry. Since I work 50-60 hour weeks, it is difficult to take time away to visit the dentist, but Im glad my wife made me! The staff, including Tami, Rosie, and Jolene were so kind and accommodating to me as a new patient. Carrie (or Keri, not sure how its spelled) was an AMAZING hygienist and made me feel welcome and comfortable during my two appointment visit. Carrie walked me through every step of the visit, and really made me feel good about the experience. Lastly, Dr. Gailey was so friendly and kind to me. The guy clearly knows what he is talking about, and provided excellent service. One last note, I really felt like the staff had my best interest in mind when treating me. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I encourage all those considering them to give them a call.

I have been using Dr. Timothy Gailey’s office for a year now. They are professional and always courteous. When you walk into the office you walk into a relaxed atmosphere and are greeted with big smiles from the ladies at the front desk. You feel welcome and invited. They explain everything they are doing from your check up, treatment, and billing to you before they do anything. They work closely with your insurance so that you are not hit with surprised charges. I have thoroughly enjoyed every visit and for once in my life I actually get happy when I have to go for my dentist appoint. The staff is great from top to bottom, but I do have to give an extra big shout out to Valerie she has a way of making you feel like a part of the family and not just a client. Let me toot your horn Dr. Gailey’s office…TOOT TOOT!! A BIG FAN, not just a client, Wendy Watson
