I had my Laser eye surgery done at this clinic just a few years ago, and the results have been perfect. The initial consultation is very informative, and Dr. Rhyne is great at making sure you have all the information you need and thoroughly answering any questions you have. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Most importantly, my vision is still perfect, almost five years after my procedure. Ive seen commercials for other clinics advertising endorsements from pro athletes, which is fine, but the fact that 28 eye doctors have chosen Clearview in Southlake for their laser eye surgery is what bolstered my confidence in choosing them. When I went back for my follow-up a few weeks later, I was experiencing starbursting in my vision at night. It made driving difficult, and I was incredibly worried that it was permanent. I expressed my concern to Dr. Rhyne during the follow-up, and he examined my eyes and told me that there were several dry spots on the surface of my eyes. He said I needed to make sure I was using the lubricating drops at least 5-6 times daily. I stocked up and used them more than that at first, and the starbursting went away. Now, I almost never need to use drops. My eyes feel just like they did before the laser procedure, but my vision is perfect. Actually, now that its been a few years, Ive started to forget what it was like to have terrible vision and the hassle of contacts and glasses. I find myself taking my perfect vision for granted, and I remind myself that I wasnt born this way; I have the good people at Clearview Eyecare & Laser Center to thank for literally bringing my world into focus. Its really amazing. Everything I tried to read beyond 5 or 6 feet away was a complete blur before, but now I can read the small digital clock on the microwave while standing practically on the other side of the house. I can read every sign on the road far beyond the minimum safe distance. It really is a dramatic improvement in my quality of life, and Im very grateful. It may sound like Im exaggerating, but just think about how much your vision affects your every day life. If you struggle with poor vision, you know what I mean. I am 100% satisified with my Lasik procedure.

Several years ago , at about 52 years of age, and after what I thought was extensive research, I chose Clearview to determine if I was suitable for laser vision correction. At the first visit, I appreciated that Dr Ryne was not "selling" the procedure, instead he provided a straight talk introduction on all aspects of the surgery, good, bad, and limitations. Such as the fact that my vision continues to change at my age, even after the surgery. I chose to take the next step and complete tests and examinations to determine if I was a candidate for corrective surgery. The tests and examination are extensive, compared to other eye exams I had experienced. I was approved for the procedure, and I schedule the surgery, which went pretty much as described to me. I think the only issue I had on the day of surgery was getting the medical shoe covers over my big feet. Well, yes I was nervous too. Although mono-vision is not for everyone, Dr Ryne described why mono-vision correction might be a good choice for me. He could perform a follow-up procedure if mono-vision doesnt work out, but only if I start with the mono-vision correction. I followed his advice and it has been great, with the exception that Texas DPS does not have a mono-vision friendly eye test. But, for the first time I have a driver license with no corrective vision requirement. Post operative was uncomfortable overnight, but that soon subsided. Needless to say, I am very happy with the results, over the following days and years. Unexpectedly, the initial testing and examination for laser surgery may have saved my sight. Although my IOP tests for glaucoma have always been normal, the vision field test showed I had some areas of diminished or lost peripheral vision. This is called normal-tension glaucoma. I have been treated for this condition by Dr Holdridge ever since the laser surgery. I have come to trust and depend on her knowledge and judgment over the past few years.

The office was clean, neat, and welcoming. All staff were warm, friendly, professional and personable. They explained everything to me prior to performing each procedure. They gave me time; I didnt feel pressured or rushed. Doctor Lui was kind, attentive, respectful and engaging. She caused me to laugh and made the exam fun. She explained everything and what I should expect in the near future. Its unfortunate that my insurance doesnt cover vision care but the pricing was reasonable. I left with a very good feeling about my experience there and expect to return when its time for another check-up.

I couldnt see your nose if you were standing across from me before the surgery. Now I can read in bed without glasses, wake up every morning and get started with my day without delay. The most exciting was going scuba diving for the first time after surgery and not having to worry about anything! The doctors and staff are great. Dr. Rhyne even held my hand during the surgery! I sat up from the table and read the clock that I hadnt even seen when walking in! My dad and I went together and both have seen the amazing results. I would do it over again for sure. Amazing!

I will never be back to this place. They tried to charge me out of the ass for an appointment I did not schedule. I came in for a yearly and they tried to say it was medical not a yearly. The "nurse" was really rude too. When I scheduled the appointment I asked them how much it would be and the lady said its a yearly so it works just be my copay. I got there and they said its out of pocket.

I scheduled an appointment three weeks in advance and specifically asked if they accepted my insurance. I was told they do take my insurance and will notify me if there is a problem. I was contacted by Clearview late on the Friday morning before my Monday appointment and was told they did not accept my United Healthcare Vision insurance. Thanks for the advance notice!!!

I was VERY scared to have LASIK and I am VERY hard to please. The nurses/support staff and doctors were all VERY patient with and kind to me, even holding my hand during the very short procedure. I just cant say enough kind things about them; Im very grateful to have done it here. I highly recommend Clearview and the LASIK procedure.
