The first time I went to urgent care at 6pm, the receptionist had her head down on the keyboard and was napping. Despite being the only one in the waiting room, it still took 20 minutes to be called. I was there for an hour and a half after the doc ordered a flu test and nobody was in the lab because they were "really busy." I left without getting the labs or any meds. The second time I called ahead and asked about wait time. I was told there were four patients ahead of me and two doctors in. It took more than an hour and 15 minutes to be called back. You are lucky if a nurse comes out to call a patient every 20 minutes. If your insurance allows it, go to the mercy urgent care. This is a poorly run facility and its very clear the staff is not in any hurry to change.

I waited in the waiting room for an hour and 40 minutes. Nobody told me the wait would be that long or I would have gone somewhere else. I have a sick child who sat in a chair for almost 2 hours who is in a lot of pain and we were never called back to be seen. Either they need more staff, or they need to let patients know how long the wait is when they come in. I have to call into work today because I wont make it in time. There is no reason to sit in a waiting room for an hour and 40 minutes. URGENT care? I think not. I wont be going back.

Literally have been here an hour and a half in painful tears and still nothing. There has been a total of 6 people come in after me and still get in before me. Also the staff at the begging was being very rude and impatient. This is ridiculous Ive been here twice and this has happened both times before this its very in organized and apparently under staffed by the rate things are going at. Update now have been here from 1-3:17 and still going. This place is a joke just for them to swab me for strep and leave.

Well I moved to the NE side of Cedar Rapids so the boyson rd urgent care is the closest one to me. I have been here many time and every time there is hours to wait right now I am here and the only one in the waiting room and have been sitting here for 40 minutes! ,,, When I say many time I meen like 5 I do not come to the dr unless I have to it doesnt matter to them if its a child or adult they just dont care how long it takes no matter what the issue

Every time I have been here the wait has been significantly longer than I was told. For this visit, I have been waiting here for over 3 hours at this point. I was told it would be about an hour when I got here. They also told me I was next in line and it has been 45 minutes and they have called 2 other people back. This place is anything but urgent and they are way off when quoting waiting times. Choose a different facility!

If there was room for a negative star on the board that would be the rating this facility would get.. This is by far the most poorly ran urgent care facility in the city, at least from a staffing and timing stand point that is. Its simply ridiculous. Either shut it down and let someone else take it over to properly staff it, or fix the problem... Simply unacceptable in todays healthcare expectations.

All staff members were incredibly kind! I only waited about 5 minutes in the waiting room before being treated. Friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Great experience. Will definitely return.
