I made an appointment explaining that we just got a puppy and that I have a free exam and consultation coupon or what they call their "get to know us" exam. And of course we show up and they say sorry that we cannot honor the coupon because we brought in our other dog for an exam when we first moved to the area a little over a year ago. It clearly states in the fine print, "One coupon per person for one new pet". Last time I checked a brand new puppy would be considered a new pet, but I guess Corporate Banfield Pet Hospital only sees dollars signs and false marketing to get you in the door, but then start pumping their membership fees which are ridiculous as well. So much for getting to know your pet and making pet owners feel comfortable with bringing your pets to someone who cares not the dollar. I will never ever take my pets to Banfield who proves they truly do not care about animals and puts on a false representation. Good Luck to those who fall into their trap!!!

Brought in 1 week old kittens, the Doctors main response is that theyre too young for her to do anything. She has no answers for black stool, diarrhea and dry coughs, and has never heard of "kitty glop." It makes me wonder if she ever even heard of "fading kittens syndrome" and that she ever raised a kitten herself or had cats. Overall, I think shes very young and inexperienced. Other than warmth, milk and stimulation to the kittens, she couldnt tell me anything else, nothing about treatment, preventives or even a way of diagnosis. The visit cost over $100, and she didnt tell me anything I wanted to know about the possible diseases, parasites or anything whatsoever. The nurse, instead of diagnosis the kittens properly and weigh them, she was busy commenting about their little feet and what not. I am extremely dissatisfied about their service and professionalism.

I enrolled my dog when she was a puppy on the welness plan. She is now 4 years old and is a rather accident prone animal. She has been in numerous times for surgery, and bandages. After her ear surgery(that saved me $1500 being on the wellnes plan), her head-wrap kept falling off her injured ear. New bandages were $60 each!! They willingly replaced it for free 2 times and called to check up on her daily. Now she is good as new and still goes for her routine shots, wich they notify you when its time for and normally there is no cost to me. The staff is helpful and truly cares about your pets health and well-being.
