After having taken my senior cat to the same vet for years, and spending a fortune, he still was still having problems with hair loss. It was my neighbor who recommended Irvine Veterinary In 1 visit my boy was put on the correct medication for a thyroid problem and is now is as furry as ever. The part that is amazing is the time the Dr Kang spent with my George. She allowed me to stay in the room which was calming for George and she was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. The Senior Cat Wellness Plan that we signed up for is extremely low in cost (actually the annual plan is less than what I paid for one visit with my old vet and is something I had never seen before. The other thing that impressed me is the cleanliness of the office and rooms and the technology that my other veterinarians did not use during the physicals for George. I have told all of my friends about Irvine Veterinary and said it is worth the 30 minute drive. The prices are low and the service is the best I have ever had for my pets. We are signing our other kids up for the wellness program. When your 4 legged children mean so much to you, you want the very best for them and Irvine Veterinary is The VERY BEST.

Weve been taking our pets here for over 25 years. Dr. Cole and his staff are great diagnosticians and have a great "pet-side" manner. They have always been on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. The current staff of doctors is probably the best group the clinic has had. They are up-to-date with all the new technology. Last year our puppies had laproscopic spaying and bounced back far sooner than the old spaying surgery. They use laser techniques to help with pain. Some of the doctors are specialists in holistic medicine which gives the pet owner even more options to keep their pets well and comfortable. We also recommend their obedience classes -- Puppy PreSchool & Dog First Grade -- to socialize and start a dog on its way to being a good family dog. You may find them a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Weve tried other vets around the country, but IVS is the still best!

At a very sensitive time with my children in tow, we needed to bring our aged pup in. Honestly, I was dreading so many factors from bad news to big expense. Not only did our vet treat us as humanly kind and loving as possible but she went out of her way to make sure we were not wasting our money. She did nothing to inflate our bill as a matter of fact, I feel like we were not charged enough for the amazing experience. I have NEVER had an vet experience like this. Im afraid of telling you how wonderful they were because they might figure out that the dont charge enough. That said, I will recommend this place to everyone, I will go out of my way to get there, I will do whatever I need to do to make sure they are the last vet we ever go to. We have a few pets and always will, its nice to know we have finally found our dream team.

Hello, My name is Dakota and I am a 3 year old Shih-Tsu. My mommy brought me to Irvine Veterinary Services when I was 3 months old. That was when I met Dr. Cole. We hit it off right away! I never mind going to see Dr. Cole because he is so nice and gentle, even when he puts that long thing, well, you know where. Dr. Cole cares about me and takes really good care of me. He calls to find out how I am doing after I have been sick. The girls at the front desk are very nice too. Although my favorite is Heather. I tell all my friends to go to see Dr. Cole when they dont feel well because we will make them fell better really quick! I love Dr. Cole! Oh, I almost forgot, they even send me a birthday card! woof-woof, thats Dakota-ese for We Love Irvine Veterinary Services!

Dr. Oakley is the best thing about IVS. She is knowledgeable and takes her time with my dogs and always promotes natural treatments before costly medications. Overall, the treatment is good, but very over priced. The recent grooming for my 16 pound Malti-poo was $130 due to a mandatory exam for a bordatella vaccine. My dog has gone there for years and is in perfect health. But they insisted they must provide a $57 exam (weighing her, looking in her ears, taking her temp, etc) to make sure she was ok. And, of course, the results of the exam were that she is completely fine. I will never use their grooming service again. Id rather pay a premium (but not $130!) to have a mobile service to the house than be manipulated like that.

We have been going to Irvine Veterinary for 20years. They were with us when our 2 old dogs passed away and have now been there for us with our 2 new dogs. I can call at anytime and I will be helped and they even know who I am. One of my dogs blew-out his knee and Dr Cole and Dr Keng were amazing. Dr Keng also takes care of my 3 cats. Two of them are 15 years old and have been with with Irvine for their entire lives. We LOVE the care and knowledge of Dr Cole and the Staff. They understand that our pets are our children and care for them like they are a member of the family. I have never felt care was unwarranted and they even suggest options other than an expensive prescription. I couldnt ask for better care!

I have two dogs, 7 and 8 years old, and they have been under the care of IVS since they were both 8 weeks old. They are not the cheapest in town but everyone there have always done their utmost in giving them the best care, I believe, possible. There have been multiple occasions over the years requiring surgery, emergency care, hospitalization - all which have been costly; but, Ive never been pressured to opt for a procedure without full explanation of open options. Theres never a problem with questioning the diagnosis or advice of one vet. They are open to questions and dialogue. I took the two to another vet to compare and was not at all satisfied with the office, staff, nor the care they received.

I have 2 dogs and 1 cat there. They are way over price, keep suggesting the services that didnt help my pet. I have one dog who has pawn wound for an yaer+, they NEVER found the reason for it, while keep providing expensive medication and treatment that never really solve the problem! I had a cat who has vomit problem, I took her to them, they use x-ray and some treatment that cost for around $900, didnt solve anything! (actually, the problem gets worse!) Only thing I like about them is they are friendly and clean, but interms of treating my pet, I never see some great result...

I have been going to Irvine Vet Services since 1998 and I feel it is one of the best vets in OC. The people working at IVC are always helpful and the Drs are always the best. The grooming services are the best also, I always recommend IVC when I talk to animal parents. In Jan one of my dogs was put to sleep because she had kidney problems and there was nothing else I could do to help her, My Dr was so gentle and kind. I still go to IVC and the same people who worked there in 1998 are still working there, that tells you something to that they like working there
