I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS FACILITY UNLESS ISSUES ARE ADDRESSED!!!! Let me start off by saying I am Not a regular patient of Aspen Dental, I was told by my insurance that this location accepted my insurance. When I called to confirm this information with Aspen Dental they also told me over the phone that they accepted my insurance. So we continued with scheduling an appointment. The next day I was called to confirm the appointment and they were very nice about moving my appointment time up because they had earlier openings, at this time I took it upon myself to confirm that my insurance was one that they accepted, they again said yes. The day of the appointment I arrive and fill out my new patient paperwork and hand the dest clerk my insurance card only to have her look at my card and say very rudely to me "We do not accept your insurance." I was so livid at this point I said please make sure because every single person I have spoken with has confirmed that you do in fact accept my insurance. So two minutes later she again said "No we dont accept your insurance, I dont know who told you we do, but we dont. You can continue with your appointment if you like because your first visit is free." I said to her that will not be happening because I specifically pay for insurance so that I dont have to worry about things like this. Im not going to get an exam to be told that I need to come back and spend an ungodly amount of money on my next appointment because you dont accept my insurance. Moral of the story is I believe it very unprofessional for there to be so many employees of Aspen Dental to be giving out FALSE information to "New Patients" just to get people in the door hoping that they can "Swoon" them into staying for a "Free Exam" when thats not even the most expensive part of seeing any kind of specialist. I am not a happy person about all of this, not only was I duped into coming to this facility but after filing out the paper work the desk clerk at this office was VERY RUDE in passing along information to me as if I should have know ahead of time. Fact is I was told by so many of their employees wrong information and for her to be so rude about it was very upsetting. I also find it as a business owner very unprofessional that the front desk employees were so open about having a conversation about how "I hate you for giving me a runny nose" and talking about their kids and babysitters and information about their personal lives in front of me as Im standing at the desk waiting to be helped and told what is actually going on. I would hope for the future that the first people that you see in a business like this the employees would handle them selves with more professionalism, and talk to the customers weather new or reoccurring, with respect. Last bit of advice is for your employees to be on the same page and give out the CORRECT information to patients so that this doesnt happen to anyone in the future.

Horrible experience My only remaining molar on the bottom left jaw cracked wide open and split so we called around to find me a dentist who could extract it. Since I have been without insurance, this is something we would have to pay for. Aspen Dental in Plainfield Indiana were the only ones who could do it first thing this morning. I had to take time off from work, which, on the 4th day of a new job is never a good thing to do! Aspen got me right in and started the x-rays. Heres where the bad part begins: The x-ray tech was NEW and being trained on ME, naturally! After over an hour, she finally got finished. During the painful process, she knocked the broken tooth out! I could have done that with a pair of needle nose pliers more gently myself! Then the fun began. The dental hygienist did the exam for peradontal disease. After jabbing each of the 19 teeth I have at the gum line with the skill of a gorilla, she told me my gums were bleeding and I will need the treatment for the disease. I told her to let me jab her gums with the same gentleness she did and well see if her gums will bleed! Finally the dentist, Dr. Bostos came to see me. After more examinations she described all the work I need done. I stopped her and asked where js the novicaine so we could start the extraction. She said, Oh, we cant do that TODAY!!! At which time I took off the bib and walked out of the office. I have since called their customer complaints department who basically told me that was their procedure. I told her I still have a hole in my jaw with a partial tooth that needs removed which could cause infection and lead to death. She asked me what they could do to help? I said I guess you can remove the tooth during the autopsy and I hung up on her! Thanks America for the excellent health care system!

I would not recommend Aspen Dental to my worst enemy. They are out to get your money. First my husband and I go to our first new patient appointment and they do not do a cleaning at that time. They had us in the office for a good 3 hours just for paperwork and x-rays. Then they told us that we have to come back for a cleaning and then another time for a filling. If you have cavities in different quadrants then they will not do more than one quadrant at a time. So in the case of my husband he has gone to the office almost 6 different times for only 3 fillings! That’s crazy! Then they offer that they have flexible hours such as nights and weekends. That is a joke too! They only offer one Saturday and month and they only do fillings or new patient appointment that day because there are no dental hygienists on staff that one day a month. Also the only night they are open late is Tuesdays and they book out months in advance. So for those people that do not work a regular 9a-5p and cannot make it to their cleaning appointment they offer to see reschedule for 2 months out. So two months to be able to get a cleaning so that you can turn around and schedule another appointment for a filling! Then they will not even work with their patients to see them later and work them in between patients that are scheduled later. I work in healthcare and know that it is very possible to work patients is, although not convenient, very possible. So long story short we will not be returning. Aspen Dental in Plainfield, Indiana will no longer be a place that we attend for our dental needs.

Worst dental experience of my life. My appointment was at 7am. I signed in and sat down, after a few minutes I had to ask if they needed my paperwork I was asked to bring in. The only person who greeted me when I walked in was the patient who arrived before me, the others in the office were to busy telling each other how tired they were from the previous day. I had arrived early, and wasnt called back until after 7:30. I had went to Aspen to have a tooth pulled after I had finished a round of antibiotics for infection as I was still in pain. After having the xray, I was informed that there was still infection, and would need more antibiotics. I asked them what I was to do for the pain as I has already been taking tylenol and ibuprofen for the pain. They advised to continue the tylenol even though it was not helping any longer. They had taken my blood pressure and advised me to go to ER and have it followed up as it was too high. My blood pressure was high due to the extreme amount of pain I was in. When I was checking out, all the girl wanted to do was discuss their payment options for this so called treatment plan they had come up with. All I wanted was a tooth pulled because I was in pain. After leaving there I went to ER because of my blood pressure and had to have IV pain medication due to the severe pain I was having, which was causing my blood pressure to be so high. Aspen dental did not care about the amount of pain I was in. Never again will I go to Aspen dental. Most unprofessional and uncaring place ever.
