My (Late) brother got a kitten and when he passed my mother and I swore we would take care of her, and just about EVERY single time, that we took her into this "Vet" the experience was never ever constant. It always varied. She came down with a UTI that infected her kidneys. Took her in, they just wanted to keep her for 3 days straight for fluids and what not. Only for the low low price of 400-600 dollars (it was a while ago so that may not be exact). They gave us some prescriptions to alleviate it temporarily, and with a chance she could bounce back. She didnt. I (without a job mind you) returned to the vet, with the same issues, only worse. . . THEY ALSO HAD A VET ASSISTANT WHO SPECIFICALLY TOLD ME THAT MY CAT WAS NO LONGER WELCOME THERE, because it "tried to bite the assistant" . Then the simpleton lied to my face infront of the doctor, and stated I MISUNDERSTOOD. If I misunderstood then why the hell were you telling me "You need to find another place for care for her" Dont Lie to me. You cant handle a gentle cat that is declawed, then get into another line of work. On the second visit they then gave us the opportunity to give her fluids at home. Something that had they given us the opportunity to do so last time, not could have saved us about 200+ dollars. ALSO, they charge out the whazoo ($50+) for a phucking bag of fluids that I found online for $10. The exact same thing. She got to the point where she was deteriorating, and upon entering the RED HEADED OLDER lady at the front desk for some reason thought it was a good reason to roll her eyes at my grieving mother. Who does that? Then when the procedure was to be done they stated (on the phone before we went in) that the price was one thing. . .then upon entering it was more than 50% higher. Really? REEAAALLY????? sucking out as much as you can from a grieving family who just wants to take care of someone thats part of the family. the nurses (two blondes, I believe one was training and didnt say a word but the trainer was awesome) went back to the doc and basically got it lowered. . .ok cool. . . . the rest of the procedure went well. But to be honest, I cant help but seriously hate this business and what they stand for. NEVER ONCE got the same doctor. ONLY ONCE saw an assistant on two different visits. (She had multi colored hair). This place is an absolute last resort when caring for your little pet. I seriously doubt the humanity involved in some of these people as it seems they would hire anyone willing to work there. Some are awesome, and you know that this is a stepping stone for them, but for some it seems thats all they can get and they are just bitter and miserable. This was the most innocent life I have ever known and aside from the doctors 2 of the last 3, and the main supervisor. . there are bad seeds in there that cast a shadow upon the entire thing, as well as the practices that they do that may very well be "industry" wide. as I said. . . if you can. . find someone else. . . they may seem cheaper. . theyre not. they WILL nickel and dime you for everything they can.

Wait an exceptionally long time to be seen and when the Vet makes and appearance it is always a new face..... Have yet to see the same Vet twice.. Before being seen and consenting to a procedure you are quoted one price and when the visit it over the bill is a bit higher than what you expected. I think it is great place if you want to come in for vaccinations but if you are looking for a long term one on one doctor to patient(pet) relationship it is not the place. The wellness plan that is offereded is not necessarily what it is cracked up to be... The amt. which is supposed to cover visits and certain procedures is deducted from your account ea. month and what they do not tell you is that you many times you have to pay for additional things out of pocket on top of what you pay ea.month. To make matters worse, I read the fine print and learned that even after your pet dies not long after your signature dries on the contract that the option to cancel is non-existent and payment is still due ea. month regardless that your dead pet is not using the services. Pros: Great location and convenience to Petsmart Cons: Long wait, upselling and inability to see same Vet on ea. visit.

I had 2 dogs and a cat, each where a member of the monthly wellness plan. They were great for prevention options and regular wellness checkups. Recently I took my dog because she was having trouble walkinh, they allowed my boyfriend to drop her off and have her get an x ray. They sent her home with pain pulls and said they would get back to us after the x rays had been looked at in a few days. Later that evening and into the night my dog couldnt even walk. I called to speak to the doctor to see if they could do something and I was appalled at their reaction to my dogs situation. They said the x-rays still needed to be looked at after being sent away, but I could bring her in for pain management. Like most people my pets are like my children and to take a situation with such lack of seriousness, I was in shock. I understand that Banfield did everything they could and ultimately my dogs condition was out of everyones hand. I expect more from a pet "hospital" that I give nearly a 1000$ each year. They should have the equipment on hand or market themselves as a clinic rather thab a hospital. They are not worth the business, save your money and go to real pet hospital.

I love this place. Great prices and always willing to help. Dr. Vickers is my dogs primary doctor and he is amazing. He also is the reason she is cancer free today. I also had my last dog there called Miracle. She passed away due to severe illness that honestly happened over night after a seizure. They took her right in when I called panicking. Unfortunately, she was unable to be saved but everyone was literally supportive with me and my mother. Gave us hugs and told us to take our time and even let us remain in the room with her after my dogs pass for a while to just get some last good byes and comfort. Would never choose any other vet. They also have some great prices and always have ways to help people who cannot afford large payments from services. While they may not have a plan to help make payments, they have an amazing Wellness Plan which honestly is like a pet insurance and depending on the plan, it can cover a variety of things for a small amount per month. Thank you all so much. All of you are wonderful!

This veterinary office has some of the kindest and considerate Veterinarians I have ever experienced. We had to take my little dog there at the last minute before their office closed for an emergency and they were kind enough to stay open a bit longer to look at her. Unfortunately, my sweet little dog was diagnosed with cancer and because my family was devastated by the sad news, the staff took pity on us and waived the $39.95 office fee, so that we could afford medication to keep our dog comfortable for her last few weeks. Several months have passed since then (so has my beloved dog, Daphanie), and even though it was a sad day because of the disgnosis, I still think about how kind they were to us and because of that, I will definitely be bringing back my other dogs for a visit.
