ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Our Pomeranian had a scratch on his eye which the original doctor on our first visit told us would take approximately 3-4 days to heal. He gave us a prescription for an new but optional medication to speed up the process but we felt it was too risky for such a small dog. 4 days later and the eye never healed, so we went back for the follow up visit, which they never scheduled so I had to convince them of its importance to get our dog in. We were charged yet another $86 for the follow up visit and additional medication. Now, over 1 week later, 3 different doctors, 3 different opinions, almost 4 hours in office visits, 3 different medications and over $200 in charges and our dogs eye looks exactly the same as it did on day one. This last visit we specifically told the assistant we wanted to know if his eye was healing. (NOTE: This visit took over 1 hour and 20 minutes and we never did get that answer). However, after originally waiting 30 minutes to be seen, the assistant came back in (not the doctor) and proceeded to tell us that a possible reason for the delay in the eye healing might be because the original Neo Poly Bac prescription we received on our first visit may contain hydro cortisone. When we asked her why we were given the wrong medication in the first place and why they wouldnt have known, we were told in a smug way, "accidents happen". After walking out and forgetting about us again for another 30 minutes the assistant finally again came back and proceeded to blame it on our dog most likely scratching his eye. We asked her why then wasnt eye protection given to us or suggested for him over a week ago? She told us in another smug way, "every doctors opinion is different, I cant speak for them". Regardless, I had already recognized that as a possibility and constructed a protective cone that he had been wearing all along. In the end, their nervy solution was to charge us another $127 for another forced follow up visit which included 2 more different medications and (long and behold) a protective cone which the first 2 doctors didnt deem fit as necessary. Additionally, we were handed a 2 page informational internet printout as to suggest we were responsible because we were uneducated. In my opinion, the doctors and their staff are obviously not on the same page other than with job security, and their interpretation of a "follow up visit" is charging you again and again to correct the previous doctors "opinion" without even having the courtesy of telling you first. Now were over $200 and one week in the hole and at risk of our dog actually losing his eye. Mostly a friendly staff but they use "bait-and-switch" tactics in addition to being unprofessional, uncommunicative and incredibly unaccountable.

Awesome Veterinary Office!!! We highly recommend!! Just there last Thursday. After reading some other reviews, I felt I just had to give more detail as to why we highly recommend East West Veterinary Care Center. On December 11, 2012, we brought our beautiful 6 &1/2 year old Great Dane, Storm in to be looked at. She had suddenly developed a huge lump on her back leg, near the foot. Dr, Brown and staff were absolutely wonderful to us. Our beautiful Storm was diagnosed with bone cancer and we tearfully made the decision to let her go, as this kind of cancer was very fast spreading. My husband, 10 year old daughter & myself were so devastated as we had no idea when we brought Storm in that this would be her fate. Dr. Brown and her staff cried with us and were so comforting to our Storm as well as to us. Such a difficult blow to our family. Several days later, we received a beautiful sympathy card in the mail that the office had sent to us. Inside was an enormous, paw print for our beloved Storm. Tears welled up as we read this comforting card from Dr, Dixie Brown and her wonderful staff. We will always remember the love, care and concern given to us during a very sad time. We continue to bring our miniature chocolate dachshund, Mocha, to East West Veterinary Care Center and are forever grateful for their professionalism, loving care and outstanding compassion for animals and humans. Thank you again!

We had our Lionhead bunny for around three months before he started getting a "crusty" nose as any new bunny owner would do I freaked out and googled everything I could. Eventually I called around to Vet offices around Fort Myers and Cape Coral trying to find an Exotic pet Dr. I started reading reviews about this vet center and immediately called them! There were the most affordable as well. After going to the first visit Dr. Craffton issued a few things to heal my bunny, the issue was going away after taking him to the vet the second time, but still was not healed. Dr. Craffton issued a few more things for our little Hop. After the third visit I think we finally pin pointed his issue. Dr. Craffton and his crew are amazing people. He has made it affordable enough to take my bunny to the vet (which I had never heard of before), he brought my bunny out to me today and he looked so much better than when I brought him in. I am a very happy customer, this has been our second home lately and I am happy I chose the right vet care. Please save yourself the hassle and dont even choose another vet, this is your place to go! They made us feel right at home and answered any questions I have had (and thats a lot), they have also sent a sweet card and called several times checking on our Mr. Hop. Highly recommend!******************************************************

We were 100% satisfied with this establishment. My dog had needed to be seen on emergency; we had never been here so he was not registered. I called them as soon as they opened, told them what was going on, and they agreed to see him right away. I called the emergency vet, but they wanted outrageous fees for services that werent even needed, like blood work. East West only charged us for the visit, which was entirely reasonable. No extra fees. The staff was very friendly and caring - we thought this was the end for our 14yr lab. The vet was gentle, did not pressure us into any unwaranted tests/exams and even said we had a few options to consider. In the end, all he needed was time for his "spell" to go away. Never once did the vet mention putting him down and even assured us that the condition would not go in that direction. Our emergency visit did end up delaying the person who was scheduled behind us. We are sorry that we may have made the visit agrivating for that client. We hope that anyone would understand the situation and know that if it was your pet youd do anything to make him/her comfortable and get the care needed. We couldnt have imagined a better outcome. Thank-You East West!

My fur kids are long time clients of East West Clinic. Being a medical professional I am very choosey about how takes care of my animals and I have always had the best care from the staff there. I credit Dr Brown with the 6 years of life that my French Bull dog, Daphne, would never had had without her. Through acupuncture, Chinese herbs and care above and beyond, Daphne not only had years added to her life but they were quality years. ( you can see Daphnes happy picture on the wall opposite the reception desk) During the time when they were not open on the weekend, they come in to handle emergencies such as an alligator attack on one of my Bostons. I have never been turned down when I had an emergency with one of my animals ( and there have been many) Dr. Brown has also never hesitated to send me to a specialists when one of my kids have presented me with something out of her scope of knowledge. Then we have all worked together to give them the very best of care. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Brown and her caring staff.
