I lowered the rating - after the mess reported below I took Dr. Blondins prescription to another store to build my glasses. When I tried them on they made my sight worse than if I had no glasses on. In addition to every thing else, Dr. Blondins prescription was written incorrectly (you cannot make this stuff up). Earlier story I went to Mathew Blondin for prescription safety glasses. The exam went fine but the frames I selected were apparently not covered by my VSP insurance even though they had said they were. This meant another trip to the office and another frame selection. This was late October. In mid December I left a message asking for status of my order. I did not get a call in return I called again on January 13th and they told me the lenses just came in that morning and they simply had to snap them into the frame. Come get them in two days. However, the office called back two hours later to tell me the frames I ordered were discontinued and could I come back in to find another frame? In other words the earlier communication that day was untruthful. It is over three months since my first visit and I am forced to start all over again.

And hour and 15 minutes after my exam should have started, and after I was told I was next, I was told it would be another hour because someone was there with their children. I was patient, but do not make someones children anyone elses problem. I asked for my co-pay back and walked out at 6:30pm, with no eye exam and a 90 minute commute home still ahead of me. An evening wasted. Thanks! They were also pushing glasses on me - I didnt want to pick out glasses tonight, but they kept pushing it on me. The 75 minutes I waited was on very uncomfortable furniture, their glasses selection was poor, and the decor is needlessly cluttered (it should not be hard to find the mirrors at an optometrist). Terrible.

Had my appointment today alongside my mother . Found out we both have the exact same eye conditions and are roughly around the same stage . Was able to see how floaters work within the eye and had a good experience with dialation , not as much pressure in my face as I did the last time. They also take Medicare part A and B and even though medicare wont pay for glasses or sunglasses (prescription of course) they are 50 dollars which I find very reasonable...Over all ? Perfect Experience and would recommend these people to anyone who wants top of the line care for their eyes !!!! :)

Had my first visit here the other day and I could not be happier. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Everyone paid great attention to detail and they did an excellent job in making sure all my questions were answered. as well as making sure I understood every aspect of my appointment. Wonderful care. They really did such a great job.
