Tustana is amazing! I have been coming here with my 2 cane corsos (Italian Mastiffs) from the start. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful, and you can see that they are all big animal lovers and do not shy away from big dogs, as they do at many other locations. All of the staff at Tustana make my dogs feel as comfortable as possible, and the treat jars all around the office dont hurt either. So all of the standard things, such as routine puppy shots, fecal tests, microchipping, and exams run great here. The prices are reasonable, especially for the area. And they never mind throwing in a little extra, like trimming my puppies nails, maybe trying to get on his good size before he reaches his full 100lb+ size lol. Just like a friend, you see the true value when you get into a bind. How they treat you and your pet when they are in a bad situation really shows the true value. My dog Chopper (whom stays with me part time) got a horrible abscess on his neck while I was out the country. This thing was huge, and he was not very responsive at all. He ended up having a fever and being dehydrated, and lost 10lbs. I immediately rushed him to an after hours emergency facility, which off the bat charged me $2,500 for a 2 day stay when I brought him in, and quoted me another $3,000-$5,000 in order to remove the abscess. Crazy expensive! I called Tustana the next morning at opening and informed them of Choppers status. They were able to squeeze him in that morning, so I rushed him over. We were helped by Dr. K, who is nothing short of amazing. He explained everything to us and made us feel very at ease, which was tough in this situation. He also worked with us on price, knowing how much wed already shelled out. Let me tell you, it was less than half of the lowest quote from the other facility, and included follow up appointments. The next day when we came to pick up Chopper, he was like a night and day difference, super happy and energetic. He had sutures and a couple of tubes sticking out his neck, which was a little scary for us to see. Dr. K again explained everything to us about the procedure and homecare and made us feel very comfortable and didnt mind answering all of the questions us worried pet parents had. And also was very honest about everything, which we appreciated as we didnt want the sugar coated version. Although I had been here many times before for routine checkups for both of my dogs, you dont know how a veterinarian will be when it comes to emergency situations. Dr K and staff gave my dog amazing care before and after his emergency surgery, I couldnt have asked for more, and Chopper looks and feels a million times better. During the whole process, Dr K was very informative and has such a kind demeanor that put us at ease and made us feel our dog was in the best hands. Thank you Tustana for saving my dog! I am a customer for life!

Im one of those people whose dogs are their children, and Im very, very, very careful about who I let take care of them. Ive been taking my dogs to Tustana for about 5 years now, and I trust the staff at Tustana completely. Dr. K is an amazing vet, my dogs love him and he is really great with dealing with my form of puppy-parent paranoia. He listens to my concerns, but is very honest and never has tried to upsell me on anything or capitalize on my fears. I know if he says something is or isnt wrong that I can trust him. The staff is also wonderful. Kathi, Shannon, and Wendy run the front of the office, and could not make me feel more welcome. They greet my dogs by name, and are always so friendly. I board my dogs there whenever I travel and Anthony and Candy take such good care of them. My pups always come back looking sleek, healthy, and happy! Could not be happier with Tustana!

Ive taken my pets to Tustana animal hospital for many years now. Most recently my 14 year old cat had a leg amputated because of a large, malignant tumor. Dr. K gave me wise and compassionate counsel on this rather aggressive procedure and he and his staff treated my old boy with tenderness and affection while helping him through this procedure and recovery. His sound medical judgment is an excellent complement to his skill and his gentle, caring nature. I have found the entire staff to be in the same mold. If you need a veterinary hospital, I sincerely recommend Tustana; your pet will receive excellent medical treatment, and will be tended with respect and genuine affection by everyone there. More than a year after surgery, my old cat is thriving.

I love Tustana Animal Hospital. They have always been very kind and loving to our two Basenjis. We lost our male this past year which broke our hearts. Their understanding and thoughtfulness during that time will always be appreciated. Our female was sick a few years ago when my husband was out of a job. Money was tight but we had to take her in. They were so helpful in looking for ways to for us to save as much money as possible. It was embarrassing having to tell them we couldnt afford some of the things they wanted to do but they never made us feel bad. They were just helpful. I will always appreciate their help and understanding. I cant say enough about them.

I was referred here by my mom who has been taking her cats & dogs to doctor K for many years. Our kitty ( papa kitty ) was ver sick. Turns out he had pancreatitis and inflammatory bowl problems. We had blood work, ultra sound to find out and rule out any thing even worse. Thank God it is manageable. Doctor K and all his staff are awesome and super friendly! You will be happy to know ( Papa Kitty ) is doing great thanks to all there work. I will be bringing all our animals there from now on. They are not that close to us but we like them that much. So does our ( Papa Kitty )

Have been a loyal customer with Tustana Animal Hospital for twenty-five years. Today we will end that experience simply due to a lack of Customer Service on their part. They refused to simply fax a Rx to an online vendor to complete an order. So sad that they feel that this was an inconvenience for them. Their lack of service would require us to pick a "paper copy" that had to me mailed via USPS. Per Federal Law we would not be able to scan and email the document. Adios Tustana... hope you catch up with the times and consider your loyal customers first. NATHAN MENARD

Great, great, great place! My dog does not like going to the vet (and, lets be honest...I dont like taking him) he whines and cries and it hurts my heart. However, the staff there are always as supportive as they can be with a very resistant 70+ lb german shepherd mix. I know that the experience is not "fun" for either my dog, me, or the folks at the clinic, but I know that they treat him with care and make sure that he is in good health. I trust the staff here and they are always kind, patient, understanding, and have excellent follow-up.
